### "Top Notch Training"

September 10, 2024

5.0

Overall, we are very happy. It is definitely learning a new system and with that there are many hurdles. But, the patience that \[sensitive content hidden\] showed in training allowed me to take my time and learn all of the nuances of this new program. I truly believe I would have thrown my hands up early on in the transition process if not for our weekly training sessions.

Pros

The training I received while implementing SingleOps was top notch! \[sensitive content hidden\] took her time and answered all of my questions. We met weekly to break down the training in manageable increments. Thank you!

Cons

The bidding and invoicing system are different than what we are used to using. The current invoicing system does not keep track of customer total balances. I have many clients who "round up" to the nearest dollar for their bill. Our old system would easily hold onto this extra money each month and keep a running tally of what the customer currently owed. These clients would then pay less at the end of the year to use their credits paid through out the year. The single ops system says the best practice is to return the additional funds through a refund. When it is pennies on the dollar though, the cost to refund is more than the credit they receive.

### "Searched and found the best fit for us..."

October 31, 2023

5.0

Overall the experience has been GREAT! The onboarding process was absolutely amazing. We went through the entire process and the person I worked with from the team at SingleOps really listened to me when I explained what I needed the system to do and how I needed to see it on my end. They were thorough and when my onboarding was complete, I felt very confident in using the software and then teaching it to our team.

Pros

We like that we have one system that does it all. From preparing the proposal in the field, sending that to our customers as quickly as possible, the CRM that is built in and then taking the same information and our field crew using it to complete the job exactly as it was explained to the customer. We used to have to take information from one system into 2 others and we were making errors and not all the information was being passed. This system makes it seamless and everyone sees the same information from start to finish.

Cons

I would like it to have a few more calendar features such a recurring tasks and appointments. Also the text notifications are not automated like the emails. I do wish that capability was there and hope to see it in the future. I also would like to see a few more personalization features on the routing software that truly allow routing to take place, but overall, it works and we have found ways to make it do what we want.

We were transposing information from one system to another and it was costing us time and money. We needed a way to be more efficient and more accurate with job information for our crews in the field.

### "SingleOps- a streamlined, cost effective, and easy to use csm for our business to grow- "

October 31, 2023

5.0

It was exactly what I hoped for: a streamlined, easy to use, intuitive, and functionally superior product. Our office communicates more efficiently and consistently with our clients, over the small details- as SingleOps addresses the big details. We can track when emails are received, opened, and when the work is authorized. Having a system that allows our team to focus on executing the work and the quality of the work, instead of micro-managing the details has allowed our departments to develop better trained and more professional staff, also giving us more efficient days and increased production.

Pros

The user interface and ability to coordinate departments and tasks is unmatched. Other platforms have so many layers and hit the "save" button before you do anything moments, Not with SingleOps. The color coding, the templates for most everything we ever need to communicate, and the simplicity is intuitive. We chose what focuses were most important to us as a company and built it up through an easy integration process.

Cons

Hmmm.., sure- it isn't the cheapest- but our decision was about quality not penny-pinching, when it came to running our business and continuing to provide the level of service, we strive to offer from start to finish.

Reason for choosing SingleOps

Other CSM competitors weren't forward-focused, the other product's user interface for crews were lacking compared to Singleops, the other product's data retrieving/manipulation/saving processes were redundant and lacked a flow, and the other products weren't made for us, - we didn't want/need to rebuild a handyman's page to be an arborist's page.

### "Five Stars for SingleOps"

Overall our experience has been great. SingleOps is very intuitive and versatile. Many many features help us to keep track of everything. We are especially fond of the route planner.

Pros

The support we receive from \[sensitive content hidden\], the senior customer advocate, is always prompt and friendly. If we can't figure something out or have an issue, the team at SingleOps is always there to help.

Cons

It is sometimes hard to figure out how to run reports for certain measurables.

### "Single Ops Review"

September 20, 2023

5.0

Overall, our experience with Single Ops has been positive. They continue to build upon customer service and the addition of a dedicated Customer Success Mgr has been a great addition.

Pros

Single Ops provides the best customer & work management solution for our business.

Cons

The downside to Single Ops is the limited GL integration with financial accounting software is with QuickBooks only. When we initially started using Single Ops we used Sage accounting software. Since Single Ops is limited to Quickbooks GL integration we had to convert our financial software over and we learned the hard way that it is better to convert over to QB first, then implement Single Ops.

### "A Must Have For Tree Care Companies"

September 12, 2023

We've had our ups and downs, but we've found a way to work them out. I'd say without \[sensitive content hidden\] this season, we would have left. There were too many things not working and too many things that were taking too much time to fix. He's an asset to the SO team and company.

Pros

The online invoicing allows clients to pay faster. Being able to type up proposals onsite and have clients sign them before we leave the property. There are a lot of great things that SO does that we don't use yet. \[sensitive content hidden\] is my main man and when he's not around \[sensitive content hidden\] is also my savior. I enjoy learning new things about the process that it takes to make SO work and how the new aspects of the software can help our company grow.

Cons

The learning curve. \[sensitive content hidden\] is my main man and when he's not around \[sensitive content hidden\] is also my savior. The lack of customer service help is the worst part. I'm working on a project right now, and I don't have the time to wait for a day or two before someone sends me an email to read an article that I already read before I reached out. The online people don't seem to want to help much either, so once again. Customer service could use some help.

### "SingleOps is Fantastic! "

September 20, 2023

5.0

Pros

The route planner is the best feature in the system! It's usefulness cannot be overstated! It has completely changed our business for the better. Our company is able to be much more efficient by keeping travel times as low as possible. The other best feature is the search capability and organizational functions. Keeping our data organized prevents extra work for us and it allows us to do everything much faster than before. The only thing that could be an improvement to our speed is if our phone system was able to pull up information for our customers when they called, so we wouldn't have to look them up. Other than that, the system very much helps our company provide better service!

Cons

Sometimes the system has glitches that can be frustrating if they do not get fixed for a long period of time. This past year, we dealt with an issue in duplicating jobs with attachments which meant for a bout 5 months, this feature that we use daily, was broken. That was a very frustrating situation since we had to everyday save 15 attachments to our computer to reattach to the job. If the feature was working, it would have saved us a lot of time. Occasionally issues like this will not get resolved for a while and support will just kind of ask us to deal with it in the meantime. That can be frustrating because we are expecting the system to work all the time, and sometimes it doesn't.

### "SingleOps is a great solution for our business!"

September 19, 2023

5.0

We have a deep appreciation for the folks working at Singleops as they too are growing with an amazing platform with a unique way to bring all the portions of the sales process together, beginning with a Lead, then moving to a proposal, to an active job, to completed and invoicing the customer. The notification system is wonderful allowing for emails and texts.

Pros

SingleOps allows for us to utilize templates for all of our Divisions of Service

Cons

The setup of the software is extremely complex and not simple to setup. It takes a major commitment of time and energy and costing to get the most out of the platform.

We wanted a map function to keep better property pins and notes as well as to have our sales come full circle. We wanted a system that would keep all documentation (communication to and from the customer) from beginning to end with the ability to invoice and take payment as well. We were in dire need of moving our scheduling to a digital calendar, which has been a game changer for our efficiency.

### "Why we chose SingleOps"

September 15, 2020

5.0

Overall, things have run more smoothly with SingleOps. If we do have an issue, customer service is quick to respond to help if at all possible. I like that even if what I want to do cannot be accomplished in that call, I can make a request for the programmers to review for changes. It feels as if someone is listening and working to make things better even if a request may take a while to implement.

Pros

(1) Ease of use: The other software program we were using was difficult to navigate. Our employees don't want to spend half of their time in frustration trying to navigate a complicated program, and neither do I. Between the two programs, the difference was that the other one was very PC/programmer/system heavy while SingleOps is more visual/intuitive in scope. (2) Program features: SingleOps program features, for the most part, allows us to do what we need to do to serve our customers well. From an office perspective, I love how easy it is to use the calendar for scheduling, billing, and for being able to assign tasks to not only the crew but also for myself. I love it that the customer can click to accept proposals so that we don't have to deal with so much paper. It's great to be able to put notes for the crew so that they can see information they need. Integration with QuickBooks was a must, as well. There are just so many great features I can't list them all here! (3) Customizability: It is very helpful that we can customize our proposals, terms and conditions, work orders, invoices, emails, and paid invoices. (4) Customer service: We appreciate that SingleOps customer service reps are native English speakers. SingleOps reps are always friendly, helpful, and sometimes they can even make suggestions for work arounds. They are great at coming up with workable solutions.(5) Program requests implementation.

Cons

(1) Customizability: SingleOps would have really knocked it out of the park if we could also have customizable Pre-Job Brief Hazard Assessment forms, which are OSHA requirements for our industry. (2) Program Features: When entering a city name, the zip code does not autofill. On the calendar the Job Name will appear, but not the address (unless you click on the Job Name). Would like to have the option for the address to appear. Cannot see which user did what actions on a specific job. Would like to be able to determine who may have changed something and when. Would like to be able to view all scheduled jobs for any given month at one time on a map. When I want to add a job based upon location, I currently have to use GoogleMaps to look each address up individually to determine which is closest. It would be faster/easier if I could see the map of the scheduled jobs and drag and drop the one I want to schedule on the same date next to a job that has already been scheduled that is in close proximity.

Reason for choosing SingleOps

We chose SingleOps over the other products because they lacked the ability to provide the program features that we needed to run our business effectively.

Switched from

[Arborgold](https://www.capterra.com/p/12741/Arborgold/)

The other software program we were using was difficult to navigate. As they implemented updates, there were more and more steps/clicks to get the program to do what it had done before so it was wasting time and maddening to have to learn an entire new process just to send an email. Between the two programs, the difference was that the other one was very PC/programmer/system heavy while SingleOps is more visual/intuitive in scope. With SingleOps, you press a button and it does what it says it will do, so for the most part it is easy to figure out what you want to do.

### "Works good for us"

September 21, 2023

5.0

They have been very prompt with their service and always keep us informed of anything that goes on of changes and so on and they seem to know well how to run their program and fix issues that come up. They have very little downtime with their software.

Pros

This program offers where you can set up a line item as an optional checkbox that a customer can select if they want work done or not, and it will automatically add the price on based on what you have put in the box. This feature is one of my favorite parts about this program. I really like how the Google Maps seems to be connected internally Somehow when you put an address in and it’ll pop up how many miles you have to that location right away and you don’t have to go separately in and check it.

Cons

At first, we started out with an up charge for credit card processing fees and when customers would run their cards the system would automatically insert that charge for the customer then as time went on they later discontinued that feature now we have to figure out how to get it put on line items and it’s really quite annoying.

Reason for choosing SingleOps

It seem to really have the fit that we needed with route planning and the fact that you could see Google maps when you put in addresses. This is a very great feature.

### "Single Ops is terrific software for most any small business."

September 12, 2024

5.0

Great. It is an accurate program and the user tutorials are good, and personal technical help is timely.

Pros

It is simple and affordable but comprehensively covers my needs as a small business owner.

Cons

I would prefer a better invoice design. Some of the other companies offer a legal size option that could provide a tear off portion so the customer can send paper in with their payment (if paying by check) and can still retain an invoice with information. I would like the note section to be better.

### "Worst CRM program "

July 6, 2021

1.0

We signed on with single ops at the beginning of this year with high hopes for the system. The first few months were just training but we still had to pay for those months even though we were not implementing the system yet. Since we have implemented single ops into our daily tasks we have been running into issue after issue to the point that it’s more of a hassle to actually use the system then it is helpful or useful for our business. I have been paying for my employees to be able to use the app for the route, the app doesn’t even work, single ops is having us use the shortcut from the website instead. I paid close to $6000 for the CRM system and it has been nothing but a headache to use. I’ve been having many other issues with them as well. Very laggy system with lots of glitches, Random accounts going to zero and accounts disappearing from the route and accounts reappearing after being canceled. The credit card processing company is absolutely terrible, they have been holding over $10,000 for over 3 months now. Go elsewhere, i’m not the guy to write bad reviews but this is absolutely disappointing and now they’re not even allowing a full refund after all the countless problems we’ve been having, Plus on top of that we have lost several accounts due to the issues we have experienced. Signing up with single ops was one of the worst decisions we have made for our company, avoid at all cost!!! I’m going to Service autopilot much better system.

Pros

It seems like they got good ideas but nothing works properly, sales guy was really good because he sold me on this program.

Cons

Super laggy system and glitches up often. Support staff it’s horrible on fixing issues brought up

Cons

### "Robust capabilities with great support!"

September 9, 2024

5.0

The integration process was super helpful. We did not know what to expect from the integration meetings early on, but they were super helpful and taught us a lot along the way. Some of the layout and functionality we had to get used to, but the process made it quick and more complete than we would have found on our own. We have had very few questions since "graduating", but when we have needed something we have received quick answers and easy solutions to our questions (Thanks \[sensitive content hidden\] !). Overall SingleOps has let us keep better and more complete track of our sales process, our clients, and our business while taking less time to do. Its been a crucial component of us growing to serve more clients.

Pros

It has robust functionality that helps us in a lot of areas we were expecting, as well as areas we did not expect. As our business has grown our old processes needed to be replaced. SingleOps has solved our current challenges in that respect and clearly can support us through our next (several) stages of growth.

Cons

It took a little bit to get used to. Some things did not feel intuitive initially.

### "Design + Build Company: Thank you SingleOps"

September 11, 2024

5.0

Great! Awesome team. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the software. Specifically, \[sensitive content hidden\], our on boarding specialist, has been a huge blessing. I am blown away at her patience and diligence to keep the train rolling with us. As a business who is performing work alongside the onboarding of the platform having someone like \[sensitive content hidden\] has been pivotal. Can't thank her enough for her professionalism, great attitude, and help throughout the process.

Pros

As a landscape design + build company, we have looked everywhere for a platform to help scale our business effectively and implement similar processes/systems we built in-house. We found SingleOps after years of looking. \[sensitive content hidden\] and the SingleOps team have been incredible to say the least. \[sensitive content hidden\] patience, attention to detail, follow through, and passion have been huge in the transition into the SingleOps software for our business.

Cons

For our business, we have a very detailed installation estimate we have created in-house. For how we use it and the level of detail we carry for each line item in an estimate we struggle to see us implementing that layer into Singleops for our large design + build projects at this time. Possibly in the future though!

October 31, 2023

Pros

SingleOps has made things run smoothly on the day to day for my company. Before, we were using carbon copies for estimates and had STACKS of papers all around that needed to be tracked and entered into QB for accounting. Nightmare at the end of the year. I love that SingleOps makes it easy for all my employees to be on the same page and look at real time changes to work orders and schedules. I love the 'attachment' feature as well as mapping the location of each line item.

Cons

SingleOps sometimes is glitchy out in the field and that causes some frustration. Especially when you spend an hour on a proposal and then it doesn't save. There are a few kinks as well as some other options I have presented that I hope are being worked out in the pipeline...

### "Excellent product"

September 11, 2024

5.0

Great people to work with, lots of good gadgets.

Pros

Central place for communicating within the team and sharing with clients.

Cons

Interface can be a little clunky, same look on each step from lead to approved. hard to tell what you are looking at stage wise. We are still early in the process so maybe that changes as you get to know what you are looking at more comfortably.

Reason for choosing SingleOps

It was a dark horse option actually, we were really looking into Aspire and LMN as our top choices and I found SingleOps on a google search and recognized the platform from another contractor (synlawn). After the first meeting I realized it may be a good fit for us so it came into contention. Price was a huge factor and contract. We eliminated LMN because it wasn't going to fit. It came down to Contract length and cost and the people in sales. Single Ops was not overly pushy and gave us plenty of meetings and time to make the decision to move forward. \[sensitive content hidden\] were great and made us feel like they just wanted us to find the right product. We have been having a similar experience with our implementation team \[sensitive content hidden\]. Helpful and Honest. We have only worked with great people at Single Ops.

### "Helpful for organizing a tree business, but not a panacea"

December 20, 2022

4.0

It's the right choice to help streamline the business and make it more scalable than a pen & paper operation, but it requires a ton of work still and creates some new processes that we didn't have previously.

Pros

It makes it significantly easier to have clients review & accept proposals and pay deposits without needing to call the office, which smooths things over. The email templates also streamline communication with clients.

Cons

The calendar doesn't sync well with Google Calendar (one-way sync, can't sync to multiple calendars for bids vs jobs, for example) and is somewhat clunky to use, so we are still using Google Calendar as our primary calendar function. We experienced major QuickBooks syncing errors that were ultimately unresolved, requiring me to manually sync a large number of clients (their support person was great in trying to help and figure out this manual workaround, but unfortunately there wasn't a way to fix it in the software itself).

Reason for choosing SingleOps

Built more recently, so designed for digital-native users on cloud-based platforms. Web app works well. Similar pricing & core focus is tree services.

### "Tree people - look elsewhere"

October 25, 2023

1.0

The exciting promise quickly faded in lots of tedious work. I still spend many hours each week cleaning up data and manually creating the reports we need. If I don't have good internet signal in the field, sometimes I can't complete the sale. I email the client later and hope I can still land the sale.

Pros

It does the math for us when calculating pricing.

Cons

The product did not match what was sold and promised when we first talked to Singleops. It's one of the least functional pieces of software I've used. And the user interface has no intuitive design to help you delineate on screen what you are looking at. Custom reporting was promised, but that is a half-truth. You can add custom fields and maybe they will show on the report you want. For almost any data I need, I have to run 2 or more reports, then manually edit and cross-reference my own spreadsheets to get the actual data I need. Horrible credit card interface, I have to type in the address that is already saved to the client profile. I can't view the address though once the credit card screen pops up.

### "I think it is a good software"

September 25, 2023

4.0

I think it is a great software with a lot of potential to increase how we use it

Pros

It is easy to use. There are also a lot of options on how to use this softwareJess Chamoli is always very responsive and helps us solve problems

Cons

We are having some trouble with billing right now.I wish we could use some of the client information for direct mail and email marketing. Since this is an operations software that critique maybe unfair
