"Nice Integrated Accounting Software"

Pros: Overall, this program is very useful for our small business. As a company we have been using it for seven years and have a pretty good understanding of how things work. We recently began using the scheduling portion of the program and it has been very helpful for our dispatchers. We also like the fact that all accounting functions are integrated. We enjoy working with the employees at ASG and they are very helpful when we call for assistance.

Cons: As with any new program, learning how to use it properly takes some time. Some procedures in the program can be complicated/confusing for some of our employees. I also do not think we use the program to its full potential but that's on us.

"Solid Service Industry Software"

Overall: Good implementation and support afterwards. SouthWare has been very reliable and did not take long to work the bugs from implementation out. SW Users since 2016.

Pros: Software is geared towards service industry but has excellent point of sale aspects. Perfect for a service ticket based or sales order based environment. Custom reporting is nice to have, all information is available for the end user. End of month processes are quick and easy.

Cons: Not entire software has been converted to a more graphically friendly interface.

"10 years running our business with Southware."

Pros: Southware is a complete enterprise system. Our customer transactions are handled cradle to grave and we have access to customer and job information at any stage in the process as well as complete history for customers, jobs and inventory. We have continually expanded the amount of resources within Southware that we use and haven't come close to accessing the full capacity of what it offers. Southware has allowed us to run our business tighter with fewer support staff (for AR, AP, inventory)and allowed us to achieve higher quality for our customers and sales numbers throughout our company. ASG as a VAR has had excellent support when we encounter day to day problems and has done a great job focusing this software on the garage door industry specifically.

Cons: Southware has become relatively easy to implement 'out of the box'. But to get to the real power of the software and having it mesh with your business (or having your business mesh with Southware.) there is a steep learning curve that could be better managed from a support aspect.

"Bilt Rite Garage Doors in Columbia SC"

Overall: The tablet ability is what we really wanted. It makes the process of billing and capturing real time information much more effective.

Pros: It has powerful accounting functions, tablet capability, and transformation of information through the various platforms.

Cons: Little quirks you have to learn such as you must always use "allcaps" in order to make the system perform searches effectively. Not a big deal, but you need to learn what the little quirks are.

"SouthWare"

Overall: With the SouthWare software we are saving so much time. We had our IT people do ROI's when deciding whether to purchase or not. SouthWare has far exceeded expectations!

Pros: We were looking for a solution to handle accounting, CRM, scheduling all in one package and we found it! This software is very robust.

Cons: This is not really a con, but rather something to be aware of. Because the software is so extensive there is a lot of time devoted to training.
