The customers we are utilizing Skimmer with have all had nothing but positive feedback on the product. Our Tech's that are using it have also had nothing but positive remarks on its accessibility. Overall, Skimmer is a great tool for use in the Pool Industry, whether it's with one tech, or twenty. Pros is truly an easy tool to use when it comes to the pool service industry. Easily editable categories (Inspections, Chemicals, Etc.) make it streamlined to the customers for them to see what we have done during our weekly service on their pool. The image capture feature lets customers see what their pool looks like when are service is complete, how their filter/salt cell look after we clean it, and any issues with the equipment. Truly cannot recommend Skimmer enough. Cons Not necessarily a con, as is on-going with it's development and coming up with ideas as time goes on, but a little more customization with the service emails sent would be ideal for marketing (changing the colors, adding your company logo at the top instead of the bottom, just minor things.) The software is well designed and runs smooth and is absolutely essential to managing a pool route. It was clearly designed by someone who has done the work we do on a daily basis. We can track every detail of a pool account, from gate codes to the amount of chemicals used, to service dates, including pictures. Cons There's really no downsides, but features we can think of to make it even better: we'd love more import options (via csv/excel) such as being able to import all the new customer data like gate codes, dog name, etc, basically everything that can be added for a new customer manually. Also maybe dynamic routing so if the app sees the tech start at a different house (via gps), it adjusts the route and shows the account where he currently is. I really love the app and customer service is always top notch. Pros Chem readings and dosage data is huge for us. We track everything & appreciate having instant access to customer records and service data. The UI is fantastic. easy to use, search customers, history & chem usage. QBO integration is easy & user freindly. Cons a more robust chemical history would be ideal. not every reading is checked upon every visit. it would be nice to have the last data point for each chem reading available on the customers "home page" on each visit to help calculate LSI. Speaking of LSI, it would really be great to have the app calculate LSI based upon chem readings automatically. It's a pain to have to switch apps and re-enter data to calculate LSI. Pros allows us to put more time and effort into our personal lives without having to rush through or remember to fill out our paperwork. It keeps a record of our visits and chemical counts with a swipe of a button and not have to worry about when a customer needs to be serviced. Saving time on our monthly billing is my biggest praise about the Skimmer app. And for the cost, my time is worth more. November 4, 2021 5.0 I've really liked so far, their customer service is awesome and everyone I've spoken with has been so helpful. If they don't know the answer to my question they take the time to find the answer and call me back. It's so comforting knowing I can call and speak directly to a human every time I call, or email. Pros is tailored so well to the pool industry and has helped us manage our cleaning technicians so much more efficiently. I can see a quick snapshot where everyone is at in their day and know exactly what is going on at each pool in a second. Cons Their scheduling for repair technicians isn't great yet, but I'm hopeful for their new update on the software coming soon. I would just like to have a calendar to see how many repair jobs are on for the day instead of just a list of jobs, having it that way makes it really hard to schedule efficiently. Switched from [Simpro](https://www.capterra.com/p/10529/Simpro-Enterprise/) SimPRO was awesome but ended up having so many rabbit holes you have to go down to get to certain things and just wasn't user friendly. They're also more expensive than so we're saving more, but SimPRO does offer a lot more than Skimmer does right now. Pros I love how easy it is to make new route assignments and switch the assignments around from each technician as needed very easy to integrate photos and chemical readings. Cons I don’t like how you have to go onto on a desktop computer or an Internet browser to get the full use of the broadcast emails.
