I was introduced to the software many years ago in a previous business o worked for. That absolutely changed the trajectory of that business. I have since started my own company and we are using skimmer everyday as it is an absolute must for our customers, techs and admin. Could recommend this software enough. Pros The accessibility for my team and I is one of the best things o like about skimmer. Everyone on the team can use and understand the software. Pros How friendly users it is. Helps gets more out of your day by route set up. The customer support is amazing. Cons The least I don't like in skimmer is the app sometimes closes out on you. August 14, 2023 5.0 Pros I love how organized I can be when using skimmer Cons I don’t have any cons. I have been incredibly happy with skimmer. If I had to add something I would say make it an option to put in the gallons of each pool so the chemicals can be calculated for the techs. August 24, 2023 5.0 I’ve really liked skimmer, in fact I’ll be printing out all tue service reports for a specific customer to use against him in small claims court Pros The biggest customer complaint is “I don’t think you showed up to clean my pool”. Those complaints have virtually stopped. And if someone does bring it up, it’s very easy to find their service report and show them that we were there and what we did while there. You don't need internet service at the moment to use the program as it will load all your information in the system when you are able to get a good system without losing anything. Cons At first, they didn't have a billing system outside of quick books, which I personally don't like quick books. Also, the price went up like three times within 9 months, which was very deterring, but they affirmed the price will Stay at $1.00 per customer for a long period of time. Other than that the system is the best I've use so far. Switched from [Slack](https://www.capterra.com/p/135003/Slack/) I could use it without internet issues like drop zones then have to drive around for a good connection to close out a location when done. The picture is worth a 1,000 words when a customer disputes our service tech. Pros We were stuck on the old way of running our company service, paper weekly sheets turned in by our service team. We made the plunge after our boys joined us in our company. Wow - what a difference it has made. The ease of scheduling & the new billing feature as helped tremendously. The old saying might not apply to skimmer - “You CAN teach an old dog new tricks”” Cons Sometimes it lags a bit & our techs Cant get logged in. Another slight glitch I see is the last stop shows it is still open & my tech has completed the stop & finished for the day Reason for choosing Skimmer I tried Pooltrac and it wasn’t a reliable program for us. You can easily track all functions with ease & our customers love the detailed reports! Cons We honestly have no real issues with the software. It has been very reliable.
