### "The Best Knowledge Base Platform for Technical Writers"

July 18, 2025

5.0

One of the best knowledge base platform as a tool for technical writers. The portal is intuitive to use and there is plenty of documentation on how to optimize and streamline content. Any bugs that are found in the platform is quickly addressed and updated in the next releases along with new and exciting features. I'm now always going to recommend other technical writers to use as their go-to platform for content.

Pros

The user-friendly interface and ease of content management easily makes me recommend this platform to all technical writers I know. The customer support and customer success teams are also extremely helpful and responsive to user feedback and making sure their customers are getting the most out of . Their documentation also provides a plethora of support to assist you in accomplishing tasks on their platform. Document360 is only getting better as they integrate AI to help writers make their content better and save them time in editing for quality.

Cons

Our team is still using the legacy pricing, and while it is working well for us, the new pricing plan for similar features we use is nearly doubled the price. While does extremely well in creating content and publishing it immediately, it would be nice to have better version control without having to publish the article first. They also have some bugs when it comes to formatting content as well.

### "Doc360 for the win"

September 10, 2025

4.0

positive. I think it's one of the better options that exist for a KB solution at a very reasonable price.

Pros

The support is incredible, and new features are introduced at an amazingly fast pace. I also see a significant shift to AI features, which is great.

Cons

Features tend to be unstable, and the infrastructure feels unstable. I've had instances where there was a system update I was not aware of, and it screwed up my site.

### "Collaboration for improvements would be a great +"

August 26, 2025

3.0

I think that we can collaborate better on implementing new features. I am pretty open to giving feedback and it was part of my previous company role when we integrated a brand new platform. They were much more responsive in terms of receiving and implementing feedback.

Pros

It is easy to learn, and it is more or less easy to use. We use our custom css, which is handy and corporate-friendly.

Cons

it is not very intuitive. There are commands that can be improved such as the calloput which is something I use in every of my articles. I expect that when I have a text say Note: dummy text, then I place /callout in front of the text, it will automatically fall under the callout, as it happens with headings for example, instead, my text goes to a new row and a placeholder callout is inserted. I need to then copy and paste line by line, which is also pretty hideous to insert it inside the callout. Absolute waste of time. I have around 10 callouts per article.

### "Excellent Technical Documentation Platform"

January 15, 2026

5.0

Excellent experience setting up and using the platform so far. Interacting with the team has also been seamless and fruitful. They have been professional and courteous and accommodated all our requests.

Pros

Intuitive to use, feature-rich, value for money, lot of useful AI features, versioning capability, and clean user interface.

Cons

### "Great on all sides"

August 26, 2025

5.0

The administration of the site and all of the settings is clear and easy to use. Somehow, the migration and implementation teams are even better - they communicate well, deliver on expectations, and are easy to work with. The experience we're able to deliver to our end users in the help center is great too - it is easy to navigate, easy to search, and easy to use.

Pros

The product is great and meets all the need our team has for documentation authoring and management. The experience we're able to deliver to our end users in the help center is great too - it is easy to navigate, easy to search, and easy to use. The customer service has been great.

Cons

The product content could be slightly better, but really the product is so much better than others (Zendesk) it is hard to complain

### "Happy to be a Document360 client!"

August 26, 2025

5.0

Very smooth, easy to utilize, clean look! The onboarding process was very streamlined and. helped me to get familiar quickly.

Pros

The ease of everything! I write in WYSIWYG so this capability was essential. I love the way pretty much anything can be embedded right in the docs, along with creation of tables that are far from simple. The auto-generated Table of Contents lets me skip that menial step. I have reached out to customer support a couple of times in the early days, and they were always very helpful and quick to respond.

Cons

So far the only down side I have seen is that the tables do not have a freeze header function to stay while scrolling.

### "Feature-rich and user friendly. But API docs need improvement."

October 21, 2025

4.0

Easy to use and feature rich tool! Speeds up the process for managing documentation and provides a clean and pretty result. Though managing API docs is a struggle sometimes depending on the process you have determined.

Pros

Doc360 makes it easy to edit, manage and update documentation! It is very competent and have many features that compete with tools such as Confluence.

Cons

API Documentation management could face some real upgrades. I left a couple of feature suggestions related to that, especially related to swagger file processes.

### "Good Online Documentation Platform "

August 28, 2025

5.0

We've helped deploy at a number of customers. The experience has been very positive - both from the perspective of setting up, and from the support we have received from the company.

Pros

The evolving platform means that it keeps up with market trends. Good Support, which makes it easy to implement. Listen to the users - so we get relevant updates.

Cons

There is not much not to like. There is a learning curve, but that would apply to any documentation platform.

### "Fast, User-Friendly, and Ideal for Teams"

May 27, 2025

4.0

The most accessible and user-friendly documentation platform I’ve worked with, especially ideal for teams without a technical writing background. While it doesn’t offer the advanced structured authoring features that tools like Oxygen provide, it strikes an excellent balance for fast, collaborative publishing.

Pros

Outstanding customer support, quick and straightforward setup, clean and intuitive interface, and robust built-in analytics make it easy to manage and measure documentation performance.

Cons

Limited XML and advanced markdown support; less flexibility for customisation compared to Oxygen. Content reuse is possible but can be a bit clunky and less structured.

### "Loving Document 360"

June 2, 2025

5.0

It has been exciting, as it offers so many options that before required a human input for. So, it is more efficient, highly effective, but still allows you to put your own touch and spin on things to allow your work to reflect you.

Pros

It has all of the resources you could want or need. It has features for bilingual processing for artwork, you can use structures within for articles or use free-style. The sky is the limit.

Cons

It does take some adjusting given all of the added features, after using Word for so many years for articles. It also takes repetitive clicking, just to orient yourself to where things are and where to go for what you need. It just requires some adjustment.

### "An Excellent Knowledge Base Platform"

October 17, 2024

5.0

I've used many knowledge base platforms over the years to create, review, and curate large documentation repositories and they've all had their drawbacks. manages to be both feature-rich and easy to use, which is a combination you rarely see. The platform is so good, in fact, that we've migrated all of our documentation to it. What I like best about Document360, though, is the team behind it. The Kovai team clearly cares about the customer experience and building the best knowledge base platform out there. They are proactive, respond quickly and clearly when assistance is required, and clearly care about delivering a platform that provides a great customer experience. I'd recommend Document360 to anyone seeking an intuitive, modern knowledge base platform.

Pros

\- Intuitive, feature-rich platform - Excellent customer support with regular check-in calls - Ambitious, responsive development team committed to creating useful new features

Cons

\- Occasional technical issues with minor features/aspects of the platform.

### "Document360 for technical writing"

September 23, 2024

5.0

My overall experience with has been highly positive. After using several documentation tools in my career, Document360 is by far the most efficient and user-friendly. The platform has greatly improved my workflow, from content creation to analytics, allowing us to deliver better support to users based on their behavior and needs. It’s an invaluable tool for any technical writer.

Pros

The easy-to-use editor and content reuse tools are standout features. The platform’s rich analytics provide valuable insights into user behavior, helping us understand what information our users are searching for and which pages are most visited. The Glossary popups that appear when hovering over terms offer a clean way to present descriptions without overwhelming the main content. This makes it much easier to provide targeted support and continuously improve the documentation.

Cons

While is a robust tool, there can be a slight learning curve when it comes to fully utilizing all its advanced features. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall functionality.

### "solid documentation platform"

August 26, 2025

4.0

Overall, Doc360 is a reliable tool that provides great value, but improvements in formatting and customization would push it from “great” to “excellent.”

Pros

Doc360 is a solid documentation platform with a clean interface and powerful search capabilities that make it easy for teams to find and manage content. The collaboration features are intuitive, and the ability to version and categorize documents has been a big help in keeping our knowledge base organized.

Cons

That said, there are still some pain points. The formatting options can be inconsistent at times, especially when importing or editing longer documents. Certain layouts don’t always carry over as expected, which means extra cleanup work. While not a dealbreaker, it can slow down the documentation process.

### "Great tool, but room for some improvements."

June 3, 2025

4.0

A thorough product for a knowledge base site builder. Has a lot of functionality to develop your sites. Doc 360 has a lot of tools which would cater for pretty much all you need. I feel some areas of Doc360 could be simplified a bit better, but overall a good product.

Pros

I think the expansive way Doc360 can be managed by the administrator. You are able to customise the Knowledge base to suit your brands look and feel relatively easily. The preview options, and sharing draft articles are very simple and make for easier sharing and feedback from stakeholders. Analytics are very helpful too so you can drill down on searches and analyse any key information you may need to consider to update your articles. Building out articles are relatively straight forward with good options for the type of blocks you want to add within your article.

Cons

I found at times some elements are not that easy to edit, such as when you add a table, it doesn't seem easy to edit and can be a bit clicky. Whilst I like the editor and the blocks to build articles, I don't feel it is as user friendly as it could be, sometimes a bit fiddly. And improvements on updating an article across a number of workspaces. I don't find how you manage users, group assignments that straight forward.

### "It's a simple choice - use Document 360, or go for more complicated and less flexible solution!"

December 16, 2024

5.0

From start to finish, working with Document 360 and Kovai was simple. They were friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. And the product itself did exactly what I needed it to do. If I ever have cause to build a knowledge portal again, they'll be the first company I look at!

Pros

It's incredibly easy to setup and use. It's very fast. Users love it too. The search is great. And the customer service is responsive and friendly.

Cons

Very little not to like! At the time I was using it, the only thing I wished to see (that I didn't) was a way for users to mark a document as 'needing revision.' They found a workaround which did the trick, but it would have been nice as a standalone feature.

### "Moderately Useful"

August 26, 2025

In my experience it feels like an outdated, heavy, clunky software that could be greatly improved with better user experience in mind.

Pros

It appears to have a robust framework for knowledge base which is the manner in which I have become familiar with it.

Cons

I find the tool very clumsy and course. Not terribly easy to use with easy drag and drop functionality and templated tool sets for a quick start option. It seems to require a heavy lift to get up to speed on how to use the tool.

My overall experience with has been positive. The support has always been quick and top-notch. Though there may be issues occasionally, document 360 is always attentive to them and resolves them quickly. I enjoy using the editor and interface. The system is very intuitive for our readers and is one of our top priorities as an organization. Each of these things has created a positive experience.

Pros

I like the visual appeal of Document 360 and its intuitive admin platform. I was a first-time knowledge base manager and was able to hop in and learn the system easily.

### "Fantastic Platform"

August 2, 2024

5.0

Pros

I've been using DOC 360 for the past year, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best document sharing platforms out there. DOC 360 has a clean, intuitive interface that makes it easy to upload, organise, and share documents. DOC 360 supports a wide range of file formats, making it a versatile tool for various document types. From PDFs to spreadsheets and presentations, it handles everything seamlessly. Whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance, the customer support team at DOC 360 has been responsive and helpful. Their dedication to ensuring a smooth user experience is truly commendable. Overall, DOC 360 has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. It’s a reliable, efficient, and secure platform that has made document management and collaboration easier than ever. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch document sharing solution!

Cons

The only minor downside I've encountered is the occasional slow loading time for very large documents. While this isn't a frequent issue, it can be a bit frustrating when working with particularly big files. However, this is a minor inconvenience in an otherwise excellent platform.
