### "A highly adaptable knowledge base"

Pros

The main feature that pulled us over the line was the multilanguage support. Doc360 makes it very easy to setup a knowledge base in multiple languages and their auto translation feature is awesome to quikly provide translations of articles.The second feature we recently started using is the "mixed access knowledge base" setup, this allows us the maintain an open KB for our normal user and we have a second version for early access/ test user who need to loggin to get access to our manuals etc.

Cons

Overal the package is very consistent and nice, if I had to choose one thing to improve it would be that once the original article has been adjusted that you get a notification that all other language articles need an update and that you can just add/translate to adjusted part. (We can always hope/whish :) )

The amount of control we have over our content structure, appearance, SEO, and accessibility helps us to present exactly what we want to each of our audiences. Our dedicated Customer Success Specialist has been a great resource to answer our questions about product capabilities and connect us with other specialists, when needed. The reliability, responsiveness, and uptime of the knowledge portal itself is excellent.

### "The obvious choice for effortless knowledge base design and management"

After extensive research for a knowledge base to support our software product, we unanimously landed on . I spent over two months predominately testing Paligo, MadCap Flare, and Document360. Even though the learning curve isn't steep, the product is robust enough to cover more than just content design and management. The Document350 team tirelessly supports their product in a professional and friendly manner. They are always available to help with even the smallest issue.

These features are most impactful; 1. Ease of use; 2. Translation; 3. Workflows; 4. Version control; 5. Categorization; 6. Content reuse; 7. Help widget; 8. Technical support; 9. Cost; 10. File base management for PDFs, Word docs, video tutorials, etc. Also, seamless integration with our software.

Cons

We discovered an API security key issue with the Knowlege Base Assistant, but the issue we had is being resolved.

We are about to launch the product, and we are super excited. We did an internal soft launch and we have already received a ton of positive feedback about the look and feel, the useability, and the search ( which was a huge thing for us)

Pros

\-I love how easy the platform is to use.-the UI is absolutely incredible-post migration, customization is completely ready out of the box-their customer and technical support is unmatched - they answer 24/7 and I always feel like they are taking care of me

Cons

\-the sales process could be a little more transparent. They had a price change that was coming up but didn't indicate how much the price would change, it almost made them irrelevant for us, but they were willing to work with us <3

it was just soooo much better. We had "must win" requirements, and Doc36o was the only platform that met all of our requirements. I also will say that it seems like they deliver new features really swiftly and genuinely build their product for their customer base. They have a pretty incredible feature request platform & roadmap so I can upvote features I need.

It has been a great tool for our business. Our readers have been able to quickly access material on troubleshooting and answers to their questions quickly.

Pros

Ease to use. Customer support is great in making sure issues are addressed and customer relations keep me updated with any updated features coming to the platform. Ability to present our material to a vast amount of readers quickly.

Cons

At the moment projects are divided between public and private though there seems to be something on the roadmap to have it part of one project. Sometimes a formatted word document doesn't keep its format when uploading through the WYSIWYG editor such as bullet points become numbered lists but a quick review and button changes that.

Ease of setup and cost. Compared to some others that we viewed implementation and ease to use where very costly and did not offer some of the benefits of Doc360

### "Strong product for the price"

Pros

made it easy to set up and maintain our private knowledge base. They have most of the features we expected from a SaaS knowledgebase platform and the pricing is very reasonable. It was very important to us to keep our documentation private (available only our SaaS portal users) without having to pay for a license for every reader, and Document360 fit the bill.

Cons

This is SaaS so you're doing everything via a browser, and the admin interface can be slow sometimes, and has a few annoying quirks. This has improved even since I first started using it, but it's not perfect. There are also a few key things I wish I could do via their REST API that are not available yet. Fortunately the team do actively engage with their customers' feature requests and they maitain an up-to-date customer-facing product development pipeline, so you can see what features and improvements are coming.

Reason for choosing Document360

One of our key requirements was to restrict access to our knowledge base to our logged-in portal users, and if we had to pay for a license per reader, the costs would have been untenable. provides a turnkey platform that accomplishes what we need without charging per user, and its shortcomings are minimal.

Pros

was able to meet and exceed all of our requirements. Ease of management, simple and intuitive navigation and the ability to customize the design have all been great.

Cons

The initial onboarding taking longer than anticipated has been the only thing i wasn't happy about.

Customer self-service and KB embedded in our product using URL Mapping so our users always have the right information at the right time. The KB was very easy to set-up and configure inside our product, saving us the effort, cost and time of developing a custom-made solution.

Pros

1\. Outstanding customer support and follow up on every need shared with them. They genuinely worry for our success with our clients through the KB.2. Easy set-up and use (intuitive), the KB was embedded into the product up and running with our clients in a matter of days.3. Offers URL Mapping so your KB shows only what your users need at that time without losing the chance to search in the whole KB.4. Great integrations with other tools.

Cons

1\. It only 1 support 1 language language in the lowest tiers: If your KB only needs 1 language and is different from english, you'll need to step up to the next package to support "Multilingual" and then select your language as de default.2. Would like more flexibility in the design and layout in general.

Doc360's platform allows us to easily centralize our documentation that is searchable.

Pros

The team and I searched for the right knowledge base platform solution for many weeks. After we tested and met with their support team, we knew we had found the one for us--one where you do not have to be a developer to use the product. Some things I love about Document360: - Comprehensive analytic reports from the number of article views to article ratings and user feedback. - Easy to create, edit, and publish articles. - Intuitive UI. - Flexible and customizable landing page. Doc360 is also equipped with many templates so you don't have to start from scratch. - Glossary makes it easy for readers to understand new concepts. This eliminates the need to reintroduce a concept across multiple articles. - I've received feedback from readers that searching for articles and finding information is easy. - Easy to tag articles for better visibility.

Cons

\- I've come across nuance cases like the numbers resetting between screenshots; however, I've found quick fixes such as going into the code to manually fix the numbers or just using Shift+Enter to continue the numbering. These quick fixes have become second nature, and I'm grateful that there are solutions. - When I leave an article, sometimes I'll come back and the spacing is different. (I.e. extra spaces between paragraphs, removed spaces between words.) I'd like to note that this bug is inconsistent. - Whenever I run into a bug, I email the support team and receive an immediate response (within an hour). Most of the time, the solution is in that response. If the answer isn't that simple, the support team is quick to schedule a meeting to resolve it.

Amazing. There hasnt bee a day I regretted to moving to Doc360. I no longer worry about the site being up nor do I need to spend time dealing with publication issues. My next step is to start using new features they are continually adding.

Pros

Doc360 is easy to use and reliable. The product has a lot of features, some of which we're just now starting to use. It is a comprehensive solution for an online knowledgebase.The support team is amazing. Before we signed, they conducted a full POC and helped our team integrate Salesforce even though it was our problem. After we signed, we have quarterly meetings with our Acct Mgr and every ticket I have opened gets a full response within hours until its closed.

Cons

The Comments feature for SMEs isnt so good.

If you won't get something done by yourself support will help you ASAP. Pretty everything is covered by documentation so it is easy to manage almost any sophisticated requirements.

Pros

We managed to satisfy both types of requirements in one Knowledge Base for external clients (easy access public URL, fast onboarding) and internal users (restricted access, hierarchy of articles and roles). Best for its price.

Cons

Not 100% flexible, if you want full customisation, but developers are always glad to help.

Our training and development content was all over the place earlier, with no historical data available to new team members. With D360, we've been able to streamline both, our induction procedure as well as our continuous learning programs.

Pros

\-The tool is highly intuitive to use- with detailed list panel and heirarchial view makes it very easy for new and old employees to navigate.-It's a very effective repository with almost an MS word like UX-Sophisticated UI

Cons

As an admin and user, there's no specific issue that I've faced in terms of the actual functionality as well as admin level capabilities.

is a wonderful product that answers a need in the market. I used it at a previous job and brought it into this one. I would recommend it for most use-cases, especially for those who want a fully SaaS, no-install, fun authoring experience for serious writing teams.

Pros

is an excellent KB that includes a large number of features for a very reasonable price. New and updated features are rolled out all the time. We use it in our documentation team and everyone found it easy to learn and easy to use. You can author in Markdown or WYSIWYG - both of which are intuitive. There are a tonne of settings that you can configure to make your KB your own, or just roll with the defaults. The support team is extremely responsive and very knowledgeable. They are polite and easy to work with. It's actually a pleasure to interact with Document360 support because they're always willing to help and go the extra mile to solve your issues.

Cons

There's currently no support for Swagger/Open API files. This is in development and will be great when it rolls out. Also, there's no native support for Auth0.

Things I like about Doc360:1. They have a great support team and try to resolve all queries as soon as possible.2. The software is very user-friendly and can be learned very quickly3. UI Customization can be done using HTML and CSS.4. It Provides a lot of integration options

Cons

Few things that can be improved:1. They do not have any overriding option to access any article. We need to wait for 15 min or request members access the file to release.2. Some limitations in the editor when we compare it with basic MS Word.3. Few additional features come with extra cost

is contributing to the education of not only our users but the customer support team as well! Our support team is able to easily reference the knowledge base during their interactions which helps to also reduce their handling time.

Pros

is very easy to use at any level. Our operations team can seamlessly create new content while monitoring the performance of our current content. The integration process was quick for our team and we were able to seamlessly create new content as needed.

Cons

It would be nice if the video feature allowed you to embed within the article vs uploading as a youtube or Vimeo file.

Doc360 has been a pivotal product to our business success. The layout, functionality, and features, provides unparalleled efficiency in workflow and training for us. It has made sharing documents, manuals, and content easy and accessible.

Pros

The best thing about this software is how easy it is to use and deploy. From a user and administrator perspective. The easiest way to describe it is that it just works and it works the way you want it to. Everything is so obvious and functional.

Cons

Doc360 could use a native mobile app to help with the deployment of time-sensitive and impactful information that could help speed up the deployment of business-critical information.

It is positive, we saw a mutual growth in understanding and fixing issues and problems.

Pros

Both workspaces and languages can be used in the same space, making it easy to edit and update the content. The options to edit the content and create articles are straithforward (especially after all the releases).

Cons

The biggest issue, at the moment, would be that the platform can be very slow in loading, especially when switching between tabs and workspaces. As for a general feedback, some useful features to edit the content between the different languages have been removed and some feature requests have been left under review for the past years already.

Switching to this cloud-based system greatly improved productivity and workflow. Going from separate documents to an integrated system makes search much better, which serves our customers better.

Pros

Robust system with many features, yet is very usable and easy to on-board new users and casual users, which lessens the burden on the primary writer to create all content. Other people can draft and review and main writer/editor can edit and publish.

Cons

Although it's easy to learn, there are a few things that are quirky and require special attention to understand it and not break something.

The product represents good value and meets my needs well in terms of creating and publishing online documentation. Customer support is very responsive and effective in resolving issues.

Pros

It is quick and easy to get content published. Pages can be previewed without waiting for a lengthy build process to complete. Styling can be customised. The fine level of control over reader access is a big plus.

Cons

The editing and collaboration experience could be improved somewhat. In particular, it is not possible to reply to or resolve individual comments.

Overall experience has been very good. As described above, the interaction with the Support and Development teams has been outstanding.

Pros

is quite straight forward and quickly to grasp on one hand, while feature rich on the other. What I like most though is the deep level of interaction we've had as a customer with the Support and Development teams at Document360. We had specific requirements about publishing to specific user groups, which are now part of the standard product. Document360 has really enabled us to lift customer facing documentation off the ground quickly.

Cons

I find using the Markdown editor somewhat difficult sometimes and it doesn't allow for automated spell check in that mode. Very glad that a WYSIWYG editor has been implemented recently, which allows the browser spell checker to do its job. Adding this WYSIWYG editor is another proof point that is not only what it is today, but they're continuously enhancing and extending their product.

meets our needs of writing external facing documentation for various reader groups by providing a fairly straight forward, yet feature rich solution, including features for team authorizations, reader authorizations, versioning, attaching documents, hyperlinking, landing page, reader self-registration etc. All we need to be effective in and stay in control of publishing knowledge articles to our external clients.
