Cons

I've been using the D360 portal for quite some time now, and I have to say that I have had a mostly positive experience. Occasionally, I notice some slight performance issues when creating articles, but these are quickly resolved with updates and fixes. I appreciate how responsive the development team is to any issues that arise and their commitment to continually improving the platform. Overall, I feel that any minor issues are quickly addressed, and the knowledgebase portal remains an excellent tool for creating and managing high-quality content

I enjoy creating documentation with . Even more so, I enjoy to see how the readers enjoy using it - we have had so my compliments from readers, since we started using Document360!

Pros

is very easy to use - the editing options are easy, yet very powerful (think clever tables, video embedding, etc.). I love the fact that you can import word documents and that it can automatically split it up into smaller articles. It is also fantastic that we can have multiple KB versions (to align with all our software versions). The organization of the articles is also really important for us and it is much better than most other products that we evaluated: With document360 you can create structures and go very deep in terms of layers. The readers are, in turn, especially happy with the search functionality, as well as the automatically generated table of content, which tracks where in the article you are.

Cons

Although SSO is possible, it cannot be implemented for multiple domains. This is something we still miss.

The features of the program are many, what impressed me the most is:- It can be accessed from all operating systems- Rich database and advanced search features- backups

A more than distinguished program that contains a large number of services for a reasonable price.- Sometimes the API feature is impractical to include links to other programs.

Pros

made it easy to upload all of our documents into the new knowledge base. The features allow us to make it "our own"! The layout and the easy of accessing documents via Document360 or MS Teams is another feature I really do enjoy. The move to Document360 has been nothing but a positive experience for US Cloud.

Cons

The only feature I least like was the API Team integration. I did not like the fact that it was 1:1 API for access. I told my concern to the team and was informed that next quarter this will be fixed where 1 API will allow all of our MS Team members to use Teams to search documents in Document360.

Overall, we've been able to capture our process documentation and utilize it for both internal and customer-facing knowledge bases.

Pros

Uploading process documentation is straightforward. Can even be copy/pasted from Word in a pinch. Also, we are currently exploring some exciting code block features that may enable us to make our content multimodal, and more like an LMS.

Cons

Occasional formatting issues do arise, such as when headings result in underlines in the TOC. But customer service is extremely prompt.

Document 360 is the perfect tool for writing software guides / documentation. It is very user friendly and as an owner it is very easy to set up your own knowledgebase. Document 360 provides centralised storage and simplifies knowledge management and information accessibility. Document 360 is ideal for companies looking for a tool to create a centralised knowledgebase and promote collaboration within their organisation.

Pros

Document 360 provides immediate support when needed, is very user friendly, easy to maintain and includes a search function for the entire knowledge base. (similar to OneNote search - very useful)--> A great improvement in the accessibility of information for users.In addition, the Document 360 team is very responsive, they regularly meet with me to demonstrate updates, show me how to use new features or help me with any issues.

Cons

From time to time it hangs a bit or some images/links seem to be broken, but after refreshing they work as expected. Extremely expensive.

I loved all the functionality it had. The different category structures, the ease of use, the glossary and little features that were icing on the cake.

Cons

I was not a huge fan of their customer support. They were a bit confusing when talking to them. They also CC'd me on emails for other businesses communicating with support. I was having to email them and let them know to stop CCing me. It was very strange. The software itself is amazing.

We are using D360 as a Knowledge base, and it has allowed us to create and store ∼5500 contents and to communicate to coordinate the whole writing and editing process.

Pros

What I like the most about D360 is that it allows keeping track of every part of the writing and editing process (new article, needs review, draft, published) and it has the option to create fork and control versions of the same content. It also has a "discussion" option. These two features allow writers to communicate and understand what is it exactly that is being changed in their writing and why.

Cons

There are some bugs that still need to be fixed. For example, changing the folders icons is difficult because it does not always work, and you need to refresh, delete cookies and cache or just wait. We were also having some compatibility issues because some of our contributors were not able to access to the platform (it was solved by telling them to use chrome or firefox).

Pros

is designed for content development. It is intuitive to use and customize.

There are a few (though not critical) problems with the code view tool. For example, using bullets within an ordered list is quirky.

Overall my experience has been great! This is especially due to the phenomenal customer care and the specialists at . Also, I appreciate the actions taken to improve Document360 given the feedback provided by customers. Last but not least Document360 has been the ideal option for the knowledge base at the company I am with because it is reliable and efficient.

Pros

offers an interface that is easy to use and customize. We have found that the tools and features offered enable us to break down information about our software in a manner that is digestible by our audience and gives us the flexibility to embed various types of media so that we can better control how to best deliver material to our clients. Furthermore, as an administrative user, the ability to assign roles and create workflows increase efficiency so that we can be even more productive as a team.

Cons

The only concerns I have encountered are minor bugs and the lag that occurs from time to time when editing or saving an article.

Below are the points I like most: - Setting up a custom domain for your documentation portal. - Smart Glossary - Editor is the best in class, giving you a lot of flexibility - Ability to create and use reusable content has made life easier - Ability to make your document publically available with SEO enables as well as locking them from private use with a single click. - Smart bars made it easy for us to add any announcements.

Doc360 is a platform that you can figure out quickly and have a help center site up and running quickly. Their support team is very responsive and their account representatives are always willing to lend a helping hand.Creating articles is very easy and you do not need to know how to code at all. However, if you do then you can further customize your site as much as you would like.The most appealing aspect is they are constantly working on new features and listening to their community based on their feedback on a regular cadence.

Cons

\-The page format is set in one format with a table of contents on the right and the categories on the left. Adjusting these requires specific custom coding.-Changes to the custom code don't automatically save and require you to manually do it each time-Searching within the custom code isn't possible-Hard to find where a broken link is on a page-Analytics only goes back 30 days without paying for a larger timeframe

is easy to use and allows my team to quickly create, review, and publish documentation for software instruction, newsletters, and more. I also love how attentive the Doc360 team is, meeting with me regularly to demonstrate updates or how to use features that I'm unsure about. Also, my rep is very responsive to all of my queries, responding immediately. I researched many solutions before we decided on Document360 and I still believe it is the best solution for our needs.

Cons

We would love it even more if more than one person could edit the same document at the same time. I have been told this feature is in development, so we are looking forward to that.

As I'm moving to a new org, I'm seeing what I can do to take along with me.

Pros

has been a breath of fresh air for me after seeing organizations taking it too far with DITA. I will applaud the tool for its simple UI-just MS Word-like and very easy to use! Its powerful Search funtionality is itself enough to make you an instant fan of the platform. Not sure about their backend SEO, but I make use of the slug, short description, and H2 & H3 headings and keywords to optimize my content.

Cons

Experience with Tables can be improved, but I'm told by their Customer Servicing team that some enhancements are on the way.

Pros

As a standalone knowledge base, it has almost all of the features that I'm looking for: a good HTML and Markdown editor, a table of content, great searchability, and an easy-to-use CSS and JavaScript customization, among others. I have previous experience with other platforms such as Confluence and Salesforce, and by far this is the easiest to learn and use. Their customer support team is also stellar. They are professional and quick to respond to our queries.

Cons

It doesn't have a way to schedule an article for publishing or archiving. I wish it has support for bulk exporting of documents (from Word). Feature requests might take a while. Limited integration with other platforms.
