Overall, Google Analytics is a very robust tool with a lot of useful features. Version 4 has brought a much-needed UI upgrade but it can be hard to unlearn and learn the new navigation menu. Google Analytics is an essential tool for product managers, marketers, and business analysts. There are a lot of free and paid alternatives and some of them even offer unique features but Google Analytics will remain the industry standard for years to come.

Pros

Google Analytics lets you study the behavior of website visitors. From basic demographics to complex behavioral patterns, you can find whatever you're looking for. The improved search feature helps you quickly find answers to complicated questions.

Cons

There are a lot of features that are disabled by default. You have to manually activate demographics tracking which doesn't make much sense. Also, you have to manually implement event tracking via GTM or adding extra code.

My first thing after reaching office is checking out my client's website's activities on Google analytics. As a digital marketer, it is must to be pro in analytics. I check the returning visitor, exit rate and bounce rate so that I can work on the website if it's needed. I used to check the goal conversion and visits of important landing pages. My experience is too good!

Pros

It has everything you need to know about your website traffic and performance. You can track the visitor and get to know whether they reach till the contact us page/ order page via the funnel and goal conversion part. You can track the number of visitors on particular pages and the source of them. Also you can compare the traffic with the different time period so that we can get to know about the performance. You can also bifurcate them via time, source, region, etc.

Cons

Filtering particular IP Addresses is somewhat I don't like.

Pros

Tool that requires some study and a more advanced knowledge to use, however the tool itself offers great courses and tutorials for its use. It's efficient and delivers everything it promises, full reporting and full custom advertising.

Cons

I had no problem but as a suggestion I suggest organizing the designer better and making it more functional

I am using the tools from last 5+ year, there are lot of improvement in the GA dashboard. It has made reporting very easy. The data they provide is usefull and you can make a decision based on that data. ios14.5 changed a lot of things. Even with data tracking.

The Report is place at different places which something make it difficult to view at once.

As a freelancer, I have created many online marketing campaigns for different for clients of varying sizes. In the course of these, I have had to use Google Analaytics for tracking performance and it gives me accurate data. I so much rely on it compared to the data I get from tools like Jetpack and other web tracking plugins on a WordPress website. And whenever I want to setup a sales funnel either for my own affiliate products or for a client, Google Analytics has been my go-to funnel tracking tool.

Pros

Google Analytics is a powerful tool for tracking sales. With its user-friendly interface, it's almost impossible for even non-techy user to find it difficult to use. Apart from that, it is also the major editing software especially for businesses involving sales and marketing -- that is if there is no businesses that need sales and marketing! So it's so popular everyone uses it. Besides its overall function of tracking traffic, it's helps in the overall projection of a user's marketing campaign.

Cons

However superb a product is, it must have some blemishes. So Google Analytics has its flaws too. For instance, the interface has too much information for a non-techy user. Someone trying to use it for the first time might find it overwhelming. Similarly, its site tracking shouldn't be restricted to weekly, monthly, there should be 3 days performance as well.

Pros

First of all, I am a student and sometimes when I can’t find an answer or want to relearn about something I use google. Google is like a teacher to me I mostly learn more stuff through google since I am shy to talk to my teachers.

Cons

There’s not even one thing I hate about google but I think sometimes you can’t find the right answer to questions which doesn’t happen a lot.

\- It's the most amazing product to give me insight on what my potential and actual customers' behavior look like. - I love how I can track sources of traffic, bounce rates, exit places and landing pages, as well as demographics of my consumers, how much they spend on my website and what links and images they click on. - I love how I can create attribution modelling and track my visitors on a more in depth level. - I love how I can integrate almost all e-commerce platforms, email service providers and any other marteh platforms I'm using and see how my consumers behave on third part sites.

Cons

\- I think Google Premium is a must-have product but it's super expensive. Google Analytics should have a mid-range product in between basic and premium so small-mid range companies can use it with better features.

Overall, Google Analytics has helped me and the companies I work for understand their users' behaviors, goals, and tasks. It helps me design more efficient user flows and journeys, all the while keeping the user interface sleek and modern. I would highly recommend it if your company heavily emphasizes UX.

Pros

What I like most about this software is that you can incorporate it in pretty much any site builder or web application. For example, I created a website on Wix for a company and was able to easily build-in Google Analytics into the Wix site at no extra cost. Google Analytics gives me tracking data on users' behaviors which helps me make improvements and iterate all the time. Great feedback for the best user experience!

Cons

What I like least about this software is that there is a learning curve when trying to understand what the data really means. For example, sometimes it will tell me that users have landed on a certain page x amount of times, when in reality it could be quite more because there were several ways to navigate to the page. You sometimes don't realize that Google Analytics didn't account for that and that there is some manual calculations that need to be done to fully understand users' behaviors.

Overall, if you have a website this is the only analytic platform you should use. The experience is exactly what it needs to be. Brands and marketing platforms will want to see your GA before doing campaigns with you, if you want to run ads on your website you'll need GA. If you have an e-commerce website you'll need it to track conversion rate. It's just necessary.

Pros

Just from logging in you can immediately see how your website is performing from the main dashboard without having any knowledge of how GA works. It's very easy to see basic stats like pageviews, sessions, load time, bounce rate, etc

Cons

There is somewhat of a learning curve if you want to dig into and explore more advanced analytics on your site. It's all there, and you can see almost any stat or comparison you want, you just need to know HOW and an inexperienced user will likely struggle with that at first .

Reason for choosing Google Analytics 360

GA is the market leader in website analytics and all major companies require your GA info before doing campaigns with you. As an influencer you cant be successful without it.

I have installed Google Analytics on all my personal websites as well as work ones to be in the know about the user behavior. You can only make good decisions when they are informed, so you have to have data for that. Google Analytics does just that.

Pros

We love Google Analytics because it offers quite a variety of tools for tracking your website's user activity - visits, purchases, user journeys, and what pages lose the most customers. E-commerce people can enjoy the purchase history and tracking the analytics of your customers' activity (albeit anonymously - but it's enough to make essential business decisions.)

Cons

It can seem like a lot of information right away, and it might take some time to get everything set up (the initial installation is very easy, but if you need custom metrics, it might be tricky), but it's not a drawback really. It's just life :)

Google analytics allows you to know the behavior of your users on the web, it has different tools and very useful functionalities to increase and improve the web positioning. What I like most is that it is totally free and allows for a fully detailed and complete analysis of visitors, and it is very easy to use. On the other hand, it's great how you can customize the reports according to what we want to obtain. It's really amazing!

Cons

In general I consider that all the features of the software are quite good, the only thing I do not like is that in the event that any user has blocked cookies or navigates anonymously, the reports and statistics generated will not be correct.

We have more than 20 million visitors to our site each year and do not have accounts, so Google Analytics is the only way we get any information about our users. Managing this data and determining what changes we need to make to both increase traffic and improve our site been a integral part of how we've used Google Analytics.

Pros

We've used Google Analytics for years. We've been able to determine trends and alter our content to capitalize on those trends. I personally think the biggest benefit of Google Analytics has been in actually demonstrating how wrong assumptions can be. There are often a number of surprising data points if you are willing to go far enough down the rabbit hole of information.

Cons

At the same time, Google Analytics is NOT an intuitive tool and even after years of using it, I often find myself wasting time trying to find information that I feel should be much easier to surface. There is a pretty sharp learning curve in being able to drill down to a data point. There are very frequent interface changes and that can also hinder finding data that you were able to easily find last week. There is often a sense that all the data you ever wanted is there, if only you could just unlock the door.
