### "Track Your Website and Mobile App Visitors"

August 29, 2019

5.0

Very good and intelligent software to track a web or mobile application performance in realtime.

Pros

With Google Analytics, you are able to Track in Real-time where your customers are coming from (Geography), The pages there are currently interacting with and possible keywords they used to land on your page. Additionally, with this software, you will be able to track the source of your traffic and the referral URL to better understand the behaviour of your users.

Cons

It's not easy to set up for newbies which they find it difficult to use. It does not show users IP address to identify bots and possible hackers for the repeated visit. it does not give a report on backend page visits to know who is trying to access your site without your concerns.

### "Ideal Website Analytics for Most Owners"

March 29, 2022

5.0

This is my go-to Analytics provider and the only one I recommend wholeheartedly to clients. It's robust enough to work for 90% of website owners.

Pros

Google Analytics is the Gold Standard in providing website analytics—it's intuitive and reliable. Although there is surely a learning curve to get the most out of the data, it offers robust reporting on nearly every area of importance for the majority of website owners. Only those with complex website situations should consider more complicated alternatives.

Cons

There are a few areas that are a bit fiddly—like trying to augment data in certain ways. For example, it's tricky to sometimes get both pageviews and sessions data for some views, and that seems like a pretty standard feature that should be easily toggled.

Reason for choosing Google Analytics 360

Analytics is far more straightforward to not only set up, but also to use later as you're analyzing and manipulating data.

### "Fits the bill in many situations - and there actually is no bill."

April 30, 2021

4.0

Google Analytics (GA) is the standard web analytics platform available. Even in the largest enterprise organizations, I'd argue there is compelling reasons to comingle GA with other web analytics platforms. The integration with other Google tools along (Google ads, search console, etc.) make it practically mandatory.

Pros

A million integrations in other platforms, very powerful for the price point, more common that a user has some knowledge and can apply that without substantial training, easy to deploy, constantly improving, low overhead. UTM format is almost universal across advertising and martech platforms.

Cons

Sampling can get in the way of accurate results on higher traffic/lower conversion sites. In that case, Analytics 360 is worth the price. The automated scheduled reports are kind of wonky and often don't give the desired outcome.

Reason for choosing Google Analytics 360

### "The universal analytics platform for every online business"

October 8, 2018

5.0

Pros

It helps you to better understand your users, their behavior, the product conversion rate, effective marketing channels and strategies etc. Stores data for over 10 years for us, it's amazing to see how your users have evolved over time, other tools mostly delete data after 12 months or start charging premium for such old data storage. This is the go to tool for all marketing channel managers, business category managers as well as all product managers.

Cons

Bit costly for what it has to offer, specially for smaller companies SDK takes a lot of space as a percentage of total app size It will take a few months to learn all the possible functionalities

### "A free analytic tool that gives us every bit of information regarding our website, just love it."

October 17, 2018

4.0

Keeping an eye on the visitor of site assigned to me and looking closely how users are interacting with the website and making and suggesting the changes.

Pros

1\. It takes minimal time to configure with any existing website and gives different option to verify the ownership once verified an owner can access a lot of features like different reports that shows us overview of real time user, traffic sources and what not using these information one can build a large business. 2. Always up to date and one can see there is always two to three tab in beta version that will become stable with time and it is quite innovative. 3. At last I would say it tracks your website to give you a lot of information with which only you will get benefited

Cons

it may become overwhelming for basic user as it is not simple in words and full of jargon so you will have to learn this thing, however you can always interpret the graphs and reports with any problem. For a large traffic you might consider upgrading it.

### "Google Analytics - There is no substitute! "

March 20, 2019

5.0

My overall experience with Google Analytics is great. It is a fantastic tool for online marketers and business owners.

Pros

I love that Google Analytics is free first of all. This software is a crucial component for thousands of companies worldwide to analyze web traffic, there really is no substitute. Sure there are paid analytics softwares that can do more but I trust the data that Google Analytics gives my about my websites.

Cons

For beginners, Google Analytics can be overwhelming because there are so many tabs and areas to expand. The training videos and resources are decent but to truly learn the system it is best to have someone show you how to navigate the panels in person.

### "No brainer tool for marketers"

October 7, 2021

5.0

It helps me do all my SEO reports for clients and it's a cinch to switch between clients' accounts to get the same data points. It makes life easier as a marketer because it takes out much guesswork.

Pros

Google Analytics is free and a no brainer to use for marketing analysis. I'm not sure how any marketer could get by without it. It makes it easy to understand what drives traffic to your website, how engaged visitors are on your website, and helps you understand trends for your business or industry.

Cons

The analytics for goal conversions is not as flexible as I would like. Or at least not easy enough to visualize. It also does not report on keywords for visitors coming from search engines. It also does not make it easy to track one specific user's journey on the website.

### "Default Web Analytics"

March 10, 2020

4.0

GA is our core web analytics platform, and I can't imagine we'll switch any time in the near future. It gives us the data we need to make good decisions. We've learned to live with its quirks, and you can't beat the value for the price – free.

Pros

GA is the default web analytics software in the U.S. (European clients often use Matomo.) It gives you what you need to understand broad traffic and acquisition trends. The beta Attribution feature has been a godsend in terms of channel prioritization.

Cons

The UX is clunky, to say the least. Until you're a super-user, you're limited to about 5% of what GA can do. Individual user data is obviously outside the mission of the platform, but it would be nice to have.

### "EXTREMELY powerful software"

July 28, 2018

5.0

Benefits are huge, but you get what you put in. You use the data it gives you to make business decisions that can have a huge impact on your business. Increase page views, funnel customers to increase conversions, do anything you want!

Pros

If you run a website/small business/etc, and you aren't using google analytics to monitor your site, you're doing it wrong. This software is amazing. I started using it back in college for a class where we built our own web pages, and I've been using it ever since then at work as well as for sites that are my personal endeavours. The data you get from Google is amazing, this software is huge, there are so many features you could probably teach a college degree on it alone. Lots of resources out there on the web to help you learn how to use it as well, so don't get intimidated at first by how much it has to offer

Cons

There is a learning curve, but that's because it does so much. I don't really have any copmlaints myself, but Capterra needs me write a minimum of 100 words in this section to post my review.

### "A powerful free tool for small business"

March 6, 2019

5.0

Pros

Google Analytics is extremely powerful, with a seemingly bottomless lake of features. But it's fairly easy for non-techies to dip a toe in the waters and get some value from the program. I run a one-man tutoring service with a self-built Wix website. A year or so ago, I started learning about Google Analytics. While it was overwhelming at first, I managed to get the basics implemented on my site pretty easily, using the Wix integration, which got rid of the need to edit my site's code to put in GA trackers. If I someday have enough traffic that it feels worth it, I could implement much more functionality by adding tracking code to various buttons to track user actions.

Cons

When I first started using it, the UI felt a little out of date, but it has since been pretty well integrated into a the modern Material Design 2 look we all love on our Google products. I've definitely gotten in over my head with GA support articles, but as a coding illiterate, I'm not sure I can really criticize them for being inaccessible. The product has some rather technical aspects, but it's quite possible for someone like me to start small and learn as I go.

### "Google Analytics"

November 28, 2018

5.0

I have had a very positive experience with Google Analytics. I love that I can pull out the data and present it visually if I need to. The data is easy to translate. I often use the date comparison tool and I find that information really useful.

Pros

Google Analytics gives a holistic picture of our web data. There are tips and info within the tool that help you understand what certain metrics mean. Google Analytics provides a library of terms that is really helpful when you are sharing or presenting information to people who might not necessarily use the tool.

Cons

The lack of chat functionality. I think it would be nice to have help chat available to me as a user when I am navigating through the data.

We use Google Analytics for tracking and reporting of our website data

Pros

I really like the custom reports and dashboards I can set up for all my properties. It helps to visualise the performance of the website in very clear manner. I also find it extremely convenient to be able see Google Ads and Google Search console data within Google Analytics

Cons

The funnel analytics setup is a little complicated to setup when talking about multi channel funnels. That can be improved and made easier to set up and visualize

### "Inescapable, Yet Confounding"

April 2, 2019

4.0

I gained a lot of insight into my website and colleague's sites (at their request) with Google Analytics, but I could never escape the concern that I was making the playing field even more favorable to competitors with every refinement.

Pros

If you are a small business owner or blogger and need to monitor your traffic, you can get a lot done in Google Analytics if you have the time and patience to set it up. There is a lot of information to mine and use to help with future keyword selection and site development. It is also good for evaluating trends and getting some insight into competitors.

Cons

Google Analytics does give you insight into your web traffic if you manage a blog or a website. However, for all the work that goes in to defining campaigns, isolating data, watching trends, etc., the algorithms are maddening, and its use is so widespread that half the time (or more) you fear that simply by measuring your metrics, you're feeding the machine and empowering your competitors. It's provides necessary information, but don't be fooled - Google Analytics isn't working for you.

### "Easy to learn and use."

July 10, 2019

5.0

With Google Analytics I can analyze all the traffic of web projects, traffic, behavior and thus be able to make decisions, or see if there is any loss of users in any link or page, and so be able to take action, an advantage is that it allows the integration with other tools, so when mixed with other applications its potential is increased, it is a great tool for SEO.

Pros

This tool allows me to analyze many aspects of each web project, what I like most is that it allows me to see several types of reports in a very specific and detailed way, in real time, the behavior of visitors, which path of links follow, and its duration on the website, in addition to providing me with data if they are men or women, it also allows me to track campaigns, and generate customized reports of the information you need. In addition it is very easy to integrate to the website.

Cons

The cost of the premium version is very high, and the free version even though it offers a lot of detailed information on the website is not quite enough, so it is necessary to complement Google Analytics with other tools if you use the free version.
