Pros

Well, first of all, it's free and its form Google so you know you are getting the data from the kings of internet. It has multiple functions that help to analyze website data like the source of the traffic, acquisition of the conversions, insights of the audiences and the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.

Cons

Although is a great tool it can be hard to learn the multiple features that it has. The technical support it's also pretty good but it takes too long to get an appointment for someone to help me.

GA is very easy to use also for Beginners - it has a clear UI with a simple UX Concept that allows you to optain all you task at a glance. Also the automation Features for Reports an Dashboards make life easyier:-) And the best is the great Community and Analytics Academy to learn all the cool stuff to do ... as a GAIQ- User i could recommend using GA for Webtracking.

Cons

well sometimes its hard to manage a lot of Propertie with a wide range of Dataviews. Therefor a overall Metaview would be great:-)

A happy user that had been using Google Analytics for 12+ years. With all the feature-rich, detailed reports - Google Analytics deserves 5 stars.

Pros

Unlike earlier days of Google Analytics, the latest user interface has an easier navigation that allows to browse through each property easily. With the detailed dashboard - it brings the essential metrics to your screen with a few clicks. One of the best parts is the "Realtime" feature that shows real time visitors on site and their detailed information.

Cons

Google Analytics has been and is always a feature-packed tool that's been utilized for more than a decade. There aren't any cons about Google Analytics. I am a happy user.

Overall I have not experienced many struggles using google analytics for the simple nature of my needs. I think it is fairly user-friendly in terms of layout and design.

Pros

While my business needs are simple, this has helped me to analyze how my marketing has performed and what services are trending in my business. It is easy for me to generate reports. The free version is enough for me to support all my business needs, it is simply wonderful!

Cons

It takes some time to learn how to read the data, especially for me as a senior. But even the little information I understand is helpful in evaluating my business decisions.

Cons

Google has a trending issue with providing a difficult customer support system with all of their products and Google Analytics is included. Plenty of data available on your web properties and Google bends over backwards to help you streamline your site and focus on business goals. We recently set up smart goals which Google used to help identify pages on our site with high engagement.

Cons

Can be overwhelming for new users and easy to focus on data that doesn't really matter. We've paired analytics with Google's Data Studio to better share reports with managers and directors.

Pros

Google Analytics is easy and flexible to work with. It took me no time at all to set up my first website. I am using it for my second site also. Excellent tool to monitor my business and tailor my customer needs.

Cons

There really isn't anything I can think of. I have it set up to my liking and review my reports daily. It does what it is supposed to.

I did a lot of research and I like the fact that it is google. I use many of it's products and it makes the synchronization and setup much easier.

As a startup, we have one of the most popular education tools on the market. I would attribute a great part of its success to Google Analytics. Here is why. There are tons of features in Google Analytics and it can be very overwhelming for most startups. Hence I would recommend focussing on the two most important tools that are extremely helpful; Acquisition and the other is Behavior. The 'Acquisition' allows you to narrow down on the Referrals to your website, and check which partners are referring the most visitors to your website, which can be the handiest information for you to focus on as you build your relationships, and the Behavior allows you to understand the Site content and the Site Speed. The to most important information for you to build your website content that is purposeful as well as fast serving to your customers. I would recommend all startups to focus on these aspects of Google Analytics to not get overwhelmed and get the most out of it.

Can be a little complicated to use initially.

It's easy to set up, the tracking code provides automatically in the interface with a unique ID. It shows live traffic, IP location, browser, device etc. The most effective feature in Google Analytics is the ability to link data between other Google products. We could also create event calls for better on page tracking; like button clicks. The interface enables you to create custom reports; there can be certain goals, such as for example email signup, banner click or page-views per visitor etc.

Cons

Google Analytics may be confusing for beginners. You can create limited number of goals in the free restricted to 20. And creating custom reports little challenging

I am in charge of a blog section on my university's website. Because of my role, I am constantly observing the performance of blogs tracking key data and performance indicators to ensure the effectiveness of content. Google Analytics makes this EASY. It takes a few minutes to dive into the pages to quickly see whether or not content was effective and if not, which blog did deliver the results we want and how to move forward based on these results. Making data-driven decisions is key to progress in marketing and if you aren't using Google Analytics, you're not utilizing one of the greatest tools that digital marketers have at their disposal.

Pros

After the initial set-up, I would venture to say Google Analytics is the go-to resource for data analytics. I can quickly gather the information I need for our website after just a few minutes on Analytics. This includes bounce rate, time on page, etc. I can see which content was best, which content was not effective and adjust accordingly for future content marketing decisions.

Cons

Although I mentioned how easy it is to use in my previous comments, setting up Analytics is much more complex. For this endeavor, it may take quite a bit of time. Fortunately, we have an experienced web developer who set this up for our team.

I have been using Google Analytics for years to help me increase traffic to my website. I have used their recommendations to make my websites more user friendly and mobile friendly since most visitors visit from a device and not a desktop. It's free and a great tool to use to better your website.

Pros

It provides a lot of useful information on the actions of the people visiting your website. You can see where your visitors come from, what pages on your site they visit most, how those visits convert, etc. Plus, it's FREE!

Cons

There's no way to tell how accurate it is, when using tools they provide like recommendations, it's not easy to see if those recommendations helped with sales or just traffic.

It says that visitors are the bloodline of a website and that's how Google Analytics became the bloodline monitor for me. I love how advanced this free tool is. Even most of the paid tools show fewer data than Analytics.

Cons

Though I love the data that Google Analytics provides, It would be better if the data is shown in a more organized and easy to consume way. Aside GA I am using Clicky just to see the data in a more organized way.

Analytics is yet another perfectly executed application by Google. It can be used to track any website's metrics, performance, goals and other analytical aspects. It's very easy to use and even if you have trouble, Google has a horde of information and training to get you started on the right foot!

Cons

Google Analytics is actually SO feature-packed that it can be a bit intimidating to beginner users or those trying to become more familiar with website analytics. While there are a lot of available resources, Google can be slow to offer support on issues - forcing users to resort to forums or community threads where you have to wait for an answer, as opposed to having support on demand. This of course may be asking for too much, considering access to Analytics is actually free of charge!

If you want to check the stats of your website then Google Analytics is really incredible. This tool allows you to check your visitors countries, browser, devices and lots of other things. You can analyze the webpages of your website, the people are visiting more.

Cons

All available and beta features of the Google Analytics are awesome. Few options are difficult for the beginners. But I hope if they spend more time, they can learn it.

Overall, Analytics has made it very easy to report and create custom dashboards for web traffic analysis. It is an inexpensive way for small businesses to track transactions and make business decisions around it.

It tracks legitly everything be it GeoIP location, user browser, clicking rate, time taken to move to next page, transaction completion, etc

Cons

Initial setup can be difficult but Google provides free training and certification around Google Analytics with the title GAIQ
