I would recommend anyone with an online presence to familiarise themselves with this platform. Overall I think a website cannot succeed without Google Analytics. Pros There is 100% a BIG learning curve on Google Analytics, but once you get past it you realize how amazing this platform is. With the training, our team has completed to understand the platform. We believe we have a good understanding of how our website is performing and a trendline that shows us how the changes we make over time is impacting our website. Pros The title of my review says it all, extensive data at your fingertips. Google Analytics has so much data inside of it. Even though we use the platform a lot, I know there is still much more data that we haven't even begun to scratch the surface of utilizing. I appreciate that Google has academy courses to help users understand how to use the platform. Cons Having so much data inside of it makes Google Analytics a very complex product. The platform is not very intuitive and requires a high level of intelligence and a willingness to complete training to really master the platform. Thankfully Microsoft has plenty of free resources to help a willing person understand how to use the platform. Pros I absolutely love using Google Analytics to view not only our website visitor counts, but demographics and more. To be able to see what pages are most useful to our customers is vital! And also lets us prepare for our slower and busier times of the year by previous hits. I also love being able to monitor live visitors. If there's a problem on a page we are also able to distinguish that as well. Cons I have really yet to find a con so far. I will say that when we were using VistaPrint as our website provider, it was above and beyond a headache to integrate GA, however, that was a huge flaw on VistaPrint's part, and not Google's.
