Some traffic sources are totally ignored sometimes and the website owner can't totally reply n the stats displayed on the google analytics. Pros Totally free to use and easy to set up with our blog or website. Provides detailed statistics and runs a constant check on live traffic. You can even integrate your search console data to display the results in google analytics. That way you don't need to switch between search console and analytics again and again. Cons Both search console and analytics are not accurate when it comes to displaying the daily traffic stats. The blogger stats show different results, search console displays something else and analytics results sometimes do not match much with the search console data. I have noticed that the real traffic is always greater than these both free tools display. Also, analytics is not easy to use and not user friendly. I suggest that adding a line of some description that what do different features do will help the new users a lot in understanding the meaning of the displayed data. Review Source CR Clark R. Cons To maximize the utility of Google Analytics there is a very deep learning curve, thankfully Google offers several free courses and certificate programs to master this software. Pros I love that everyone just understands that GA is a must-have on websites. I love that with a few clicks you can see various stats and improvements for different time periods and that exporting reports is easy. I also love how many integrations Google Analytics has - meaning it can be set up in a few clicks on a WordPress site and the basic data can be displayed right in your dashboard. That's an easy win for our clients. Cons Honestly, the Google Analtyics dashboard is just so complicated. I actually think they've done a great job with the design/UX and organization of it, given its complexity and the huge amount of data within it, but it's just not user friendly or obvious to people who haven't actually been trained in some way to use it. Cons It can overwhelm clients when I share access to them, would be good to have a 'Basic' and 'Advanced' mode/view that people can switch between, with 'Basic' being a more streamlined version. Cons It was a pain to get Google Analytics integrated with our website, but that's more a complaint over our website provider rather than Google Analytics. It's also a real pain to remember which website to go to in order to pull up our analytics data. I wish this integrated better with our G Suite and Google AdGrant dashboards. It's powerful and easy to use. There is a lot of documentation out there for it and it gives me all of the information I need to make decisions, changes and to fix errors. Cons It seems to cater to platform a little too much. I get lost from time to time with the groupings of properties. I would prefer to just have a single list of properties personally.
