Great - I use it for all of our websites as soon as we set up the domains. We want to gather that data immediately from the start so we don’t miss any traffic points.

Pros

The data it provides for me to make marketing decisions is invaluable. Knowing exactly where and how we derive traffic helps us adjust our strategies to maximize our ad spend.

Cons

Sometimes getting the pixels and conversion trackers can be a little tricky. However once everything is set correctly it doesn’t need to be revisited.

Google analytics is a really easy to use tool, with no cost. It’s really easy to integrate to any website and a lot of solutions support it natively.

Cons

Google Analytics is often blocked by browser/browser extension, whereas self-made solution is usually not detected by tracking blocker

Much preferred the older UA before compared to GA4. The newer GA4 is not an improvement in any way whatsoever.

Pros

It's intuitive enough to use and get the data you need. Easy to learn and use and configurations and customizations are possible.

Cons

Universal Analytics was honestly much better. GA4 has not been great since it was in beta. Simple reports that could be pulled with UA before now require custom reports in GA4. Also a lot of the data in GA4 is sampled and you need to request unsampled data or get the data in BQ which is just a cash grab.

I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with the rest of the Google Marketing Platform and "Your business on Google", which makes it much easier to connect analytics data with advertising and optimization efforts. But I don't trust the plug-in for wordpress.

Pros

Ability to have one platform for multiple websites. Ease of integration. Driving down on the data is good when looking at website traffic sources. And it's free.

Cons

The plug-in for wordpress. I don't feel it is secure, and I pulled the system from my sites after being exposed to multiple hacks. I need to research this more.

Having expert helps makes it a lot better, but even without the expert help Google has a lot of resources that are also useful. I highly recommend.

Pros

It’s gives us incredible insights of our Shopify store and our mobile app as well. It’s so industry standard I don’t know any business not using google analytics.

Cons

It’s has a deceptively simply looking interface for being such a huge and complex technology. The learning curve is very steep.

It is one of the indispensable platforms for data-driven digital marketing. Although there are always problems with results from channels other than Google, we can also obtain serious information about website traffic and performance.

Pros

We can make our media plans data-driven by seeing all traffic and sales related to the website in detail and from which paid or organic channel they come.

Cons

While the results from Google ad platforms are pretty good, the results from other ad platforms never match due to attribution.

It let us keep a close eye on user behavior who’s reading, who’s donating, who’s dropping off. That data informed how we currently operate consciousness campaigns and enhance the user experience on our site.

Pros

We rely on Analytics 360 to know which campaigns move the needle when it comes to engaging on any of our donation pages and on our educational content. If you check out our docs, the custom funnels and tying it back to BigQuery makes it incredibly more powerful than GA by itself.

Cons

The setup is time consuming, and you need to tag the right way. Smaller nonprofits might struggle with the full suite without tech help.

Google Analytics allows tracking for everything you need to know about your website data. It makes this so easy to analyze each post.

Cons

I least like the price and it and can be hard to understand how to utilize the tools available. It definitely takes trial and error.

Overall my experience is very good, i am using Google analytics from past 1 year and added many projects and implemented the GA code on our website and we are able to track all our projects metrics like how many people have visited our website, able to track the acquisitions, also able to track the missed leads from the digital campaigns its very useful software.

Pros

i liked the Reports section in google analytics where they are providing the in-depth metrics for website visitors and acquisition reports. also able to get the reports on Engagement and Monetiziation.

Cons

All things are good and nothing is bad in it Google analytics its a free. but they should add chatbot to instantly ressolve all the querries and do the better customer service.

Overall, Google Analytics 360 has some powerful features that are a real win for businesses handling lots of data. Its help us gain some insights in crucial areas but the UI really needs some work like other google tools.

Pros

I liked its very strong data segmentation capabilities, which allowed me to gain deeper insights into user behaviour and put together strategies.

Cons

The UI can be very confusing at times like other google platforms such as the Google Ads platform UI. It needs work to declutter and put settings in more well thought out places.
