### "For free analytics software, it's very robust"

September 27, 2019

5.0

Overall, I rely on this web application. The data's mysteries can't always be teased out with ease, but GA does make said data as clear and well presented as possible. If you utilize Google Analytics long term, you'll find it's versatile and expansive. A product which does more than it says on the tin, and does it for free.

Pros

I use Google Analytics every week, sometimes every day. It's my tool for monitoring traffic performance on our site. While GA doesn't allow us to examine individual known or tagged user's repeat paths to or through the website, it gives us incredible insight into aggregate visitation and use. We see how many users arrive organically or from referrals; how many arrived from X website vs Y and Z; which landing pages they came in on; which pages they navigated to after that. It's like watching a weather system. While weather systems are a bit more predictable (ha!), the data GA provides is still highly precise in the moment and over time - and it is invaluable. There is so much content available, we can't possibly look at and leverage it all every day.

Cons

While any individual lever is very easy to manipulate, knowing which to pull and when isn't for casual users. You must come in with some digital marketing background, and then you must study the software. Not just in general, in the context of your own website. Which elements you choose to ignore completely, which elements you examine over long vs short term, and which data is actionable - those all come from intimate understanding of your website's performance and purpose. For this reason, there's a bit of a learning curve. A bit of onboarding. Google has automated this process, which means you won't find help from a human when you most need it. I imagine that their high price paid version of the software funds its own support team, but it's a shame there is no intermediate option. Or at least there wasn't when we signed up years ago.

Reason for choosing Google Analytics 360

Over the years, we've been approached by several other analytics companies - ones who will do the monitoring for you, ones who will offer 24hr support, and so on. In the early days, I might have jumped on this despite the price tags that come with it. Google Analytics proved itself an excellent solution with time and trial. In the end, I think the learning curve was worth it so long as you have the bandwidth for that.

### "Google Analytics is an extreme value for the $$$"

November 27, 2021

5.0

Primarily we use Google Analytics to track user interaction within our websites and mobile apps. This provides us with data that allows us to focus our energy on those areas used most by our customers. It also helps us determine which features might be difficult to find or hard to use. Additionally, we use some of the ecommerce metrics like customer lifetime value and average order on websites with an ecommerce component.

Pros

One of the biggest pros about using Google Analytics (besides being free) is the integration with all of the other Google tools (Google Ads, Firebase, etc). Overall, the Google documentation, free training and wealth of information makes is very easy for anyone to get up and running in a very short period of time. Robust and highly customizable reporting allows your to create reports that contain the exact data you want.

Cons

At first blush, the platform can be overwhelming. You need to learn the "language" of Google Analytics and not be intimated by all of the dashboards and options. If you website grows, and your traffic is really high (a good problem to have) then you'll have to start paying for Google Analytics which tends to be a little more $$ than some of the competitors offerings.

I have been using Google Analytics 360 for several years now, and overall, I have had a positive experience with the tool. I have never experienced significant delays or issues with the tool, and it has always been able to handle large volumes of data without any problems. In terms of cost, while the premium Google Analytics 360 version can be expensive for some businesses, I have found it to be a good value for the features and capabilities it provides. It is a powerful and comprehensive tool that has helped me get the most out of my data and make better data-driven decisions about my marketing efforts. I would definitely recommend it to other businesses looking for a high-quality analytics solution.

Pros

It is difficult to identify a single "best" feature of Google Analytics 360, as it is a highly comprehensive tool with many powerful and useful features. However, some of the standout features of the tool include:Data tracking and analysis: Google Analytics 360 allows businesses to track and analyze data from a wide range of sources, including website traffic, social media activity, advertising campaigns, and more. This helps businesses get a complete view of their digital performance and make informed decisions about their marketing efforts.Customizable reporting and dashboards: The tool allows businesses to create custom reports and dashboards that fit the specific needs of their organization, providing a visual representation of their data and helping them make informed decisions about their marketing efforts.Integration with other Google products: Google Analytics 360 integrates with other Google products, such as Google Ads and Google Tag Manager, allowing businesses to track and analyze their advertising campaigns and make data-driven decisions about their marketing efforts.Advanced machine learning algorithms: The tool includes machine learning algorithms that can identify patterns and trends in data, allowing businesses to make more informed decisions about how to optimize their marketing efforts.

Cons

Some potential issues that I don't like about Google Analytics 360 are followingData sampling: For users with very large websites or very high levels of traffic, data sampling may occur, which can affect the accuracy of the data being analyzed.Privacy concerns: Sometimes I am concerned about the amount of data that Google Analytics 360 collects and the potential for the tool to be used to track user behavior.

Google Examination 360 us an encounter that could only be described as epic. Through profound investigation and clear detailing of our business sectors and crowd base. We have been capable settle on additional educated choices that frequently steer our business forward on the grounds that we have perceived what the clients need as well as staying aware of forthcoming patterns..This tool has filled the gap between vendor and a customer..

Pros

Google Examination 360 certainly stands apart from different results of it's sort in the market in light of many reasons which are great. Alot of data about it is accessible online through the freeskillshop courses that assists one with understanding execution process, how it works and the whole connection point which have been soo useful in guaranteeing I have asuch a simple time utilizing it. Other than it's strong elements have been valuable to me particularly on market plausibility study for our helped to establish business. Google Investigation gives us a stage to disect markets and client occasions needs. We set up dahboards and alternate ways from where we can break down crowd conduct , new market patterns, put forth up objectives and track the exhibition of our missions from Google advertisements. Detailing is additionally made simple for us. Soo on in general it provides us with a comprehension of our crowd across stages with other Google elements for improved understanding

Cons

It is far too complicated for a novice to utilise. The support is terrible (as it is with anything Google) and is centred on forums with no actual support staff to chat with. Given that this comes from Google, the user experience is abysmal. Finding the information you seek requires considerable experience, which can be difficult for some people. The pricing is quite competitive. Other Analytical choices on the market have extremely comparable features and lower pricing. It almost feels terrible to complain or express my dislikes for something that is free.

### "A fantastic and easy to use analytics tool"

September 17, 2020

4.0

Using Google Analytics has enabled me to gain a better understanding of my websites content and my audiences interactions with my content. This is because google analytics allows me to easily identify where my audience are spending the most time on my site or what overall interactions they have. Therefore, this enables me to tailor my websites content and design to more specifically match the demands of my audience. This is ultimately a crucial aspect of retaining users and building a site that is authoritative and trustworthy in many ways.

Pros

The ability for me to track the whole user process of my audience on my blog is what makes Google Analytics a great tool. For example, there is a diverse range of metrics available such as the ability to identify traffic sources, times of the day your users visit your site, the devices your audience use , user retention , bounce rate, and session duration amongst many other aspects. Also, the use of graphs and charts to display the analytics of your website makes everything regarding the functionality of your site and the user experience really easy to interpret in an efficient way. This is because these graphs and charts are very easy to understand, meaning they can be understood by anyone, thereby making google analytics such a diverse tool that easily appeals to anyone with a digital presence.

Cons

I don't like the fact that google analytics also tracks your personal usage of your website (or other digital asset). By this I mean that every time you personally interact with your website, this counts towards the data that google analytics records. Therefore, if you frequently view your website (which I regularly do) the data can easily be inaccurate and unreliable in regards to how your audience uses your website. As a result, it'd be much better if they has a feature that could exclude your personal IP address/your personal account from the data. There could be a way that you can do this, but i'm not able to find it if that is the case, so this is an issue that really needs addressing.

### "There's A Billion Metric Sites Online, And Only One Google Analytics!"

October 19, 2020

5.0

Overall, I love it and wouldn't trust any other third party service claiming to know your monthly hits and traffic sources and be able to give you the keywords people searched and from what device and location etc.

Pros

As an SEO of 10+ years, performing amazing service and White SEO with Google and for small business clients all over the world, I've come to realize that you can only trust certain software and programs to give you real data and results when you need it most. Even I admit to using other software like AWR Cloud to catch a "glimpse" of what traffic I've received to a site in the last 7 days or 30 days specifically, I never trust it fully, because at the end of the day I don't trust a third-party telling me what the Source can tell me directly. Sure Google can't really show you granular statistics on 3rd party traffic from Yahoo and Bing and other major engines, but who cares. Google's traffic amounts to 66.6% of the traffic online, and at the end of the day, when I want to know what internal landing pages are the most popular by source of organic, referral, and direct (SEO) traffic locations, I can and that helps me to know what my audience is gravitating to the most, and that helps me create a new content schedule for the month, putting out content around the most popular and widely searched pages of my websites. I love Google Analytics, and I steer clear of the 3rd party noise, claiming they have better metrics than the source, it's bull. Get GA today!

Cons

There are a ton of new features and many don't apply to my version of SEO for local businesses, however, I just steer clear of those areas and look at the metrics that I truly care about.

I would described myoverall experience with Google Analytics is that it's really great that I find the standard version of Google Analytics that provide sufficient functionality without the added cost.

Pros

What I like the most about Google Analytics 360 are advance reporting and analysis features, higher data limits, custom data retention and it has SLA service level agreement.

Cons

What I least like about Google Analytics 360 are it's cost, learning curve, not suitable for all businesses, implementation complexity and its integration challenges.

Reason for choosing Google Analytics 360

The reason I chose Google Analytics 360 over the alternative products because it has more advantage than disadvantage. In additional to that, due to it's freshness of data and the SLA (Service Level AGreement).

Pros

Google Analytics is an absolute game-changer when it comes to understanding and optimizing your online presence. As a business owner, the insights provided by this powerful tool have been instrumental in guiding my marketing strategies and improving overall performance. One of the most impressive aspects of Google Analytics is its user-friendly interface. Despite its sophisticated capabilities, the platform is remarkably intuitive, making it accessible even for those without extensive technical expertise. The ability to customize dashboards and reports to focus on key metrics has been invaluable, allowing me to track the specific data points that matter most to my business. The depth and breadth of data provided by Google Analytics are truly remarkable. From tracking website traffic and user behavior to monitoring conversion rates and identifying audience demographics, this tool offers a comprehensive view of how users interact with my online content. The real-time reporting feature is particularly useful, enabling me to make informed decisions promptly and respond to emerging trends effectively. Moreover, the integration with other Google services has streamlined my workflow and improved the overall efficiency of my operations. The seamless integration with Google Ads, for instance, has facilitated a more cohesive approach to my online advertising campaigns, resulting in enhanced targeting and a significant boost in ROI. I cannot emphasize enough how vital Google Analytics has been in helping me understand customer preferences and behavior. ### "The Best in Digital Analytics"

February 13, 2019

5.0

As a Google Analytics certified professional, I am a true proponent of the product. It can be used by anyone (even absolute novices) to monitor site visitors and general ups and downs related to performance, be it from paid or organic. A typical Analytics user is the business owner who doesn't know much about the product or digital marketing, but can still use the product to keep an eye on things - ease of use is sufficient. On the other hand, we have all the professionals - digital marketers or even hard core data analysts that can solve very complex business problems, some of which are unknown to the business before looking at the data.

Pros

The sheer number of ways you can look at data. Most often I've found myself needing to check traffic from a particular channel - whether it has been organic when analyzing SEO results, or paid when trying to verify PPC campaign reporting, get an overview of all paid channels, or dig deeper and actually segment data from PPC campaigns to gain additional insight. Google Analytics provides you with everything needed to analyze where your traffic is coming from and what it is doing on your website. You can typically answer all of the following questions by using Google Analytics - are there any particular pages that cause my visitors to leave more often than others, which are the pages that are driving most of my desired actions (conversions or goals), why is my site getting +50% more traffic like reported by my digital agency, but we're not getting anywhere near the increase in bottom line results. Behavioral flow is something in particular which is worth noting as a major pro. I haven't seen other platforms that offer this functionality and although it is quite hard to get your head around at first, one you do there is no limit to the amount of insights one can generate to assist with conversion rate optimisation or just improve flow through the website as needed.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve involved, but that is not a con of the product. Google even have an Academy where you can learn about Google Analytics and even get certified.

### "Google Analytics: A Data and Reporting Powerhouse"

March 28, 2022

5.0

My team uses Google Analytics to monitor and report on data associated with the influencer campaigns we run. Google Analytics is able to pull in data from the tracking links we create and filter the data based on the tracking link components. We are then able to see website traffic generated by each influencer. As a company that doesn't sell direct to consumer, Google Analytics is able to track our website traffic conversion metric.

Pros

Google Analytics is a true data and reporting powerhouse. The platform gathers tons of data that is applicable to teams across our company. Google Analytics also provides presentations that make data easily digestible and shareable. Google Analytics is helpful for monitoring data live and filtering data down into categories.

Cons

Google Analytics has a decent learning curve because of the wide range of data it collects, presentations it offers, and its uses. I appreciated having coworkers that could walk me through the data and presentations that are applicable/necessary for our team.

### "It's hard to complain about free"

October 6, 2020

4.0

It's pretty great for what it is. A free, easy to use product that will help you make better, quicker decisions. Again, it's hard to argue with the value proposition.

Pros

The product is incredibly easy to use. For the basic features, you can train up someone to do reporting within less than a day. There are lots of different pieces of data and reports in there - you could spend tons of time going through it and still not hit everything. The basic model (which is all 90% of businesses really need) is free. Implementation is straightforward and about as simple as can be. Documentation (while sometimes a bit hard to parse) is readily available. Alerts are easy to set up. Very simple to make different views and properties so that you can keep distinct reporting separate plus have a raw data backup.

Cons

Because it is free, it is one of the lower priority areas for development for Google. There's one particular (fairly minor) bug in it that drives me crazy that has been there for at least 3 years, and I know there is basically zero chance it gets addressed. You have no direct support or customer service, so you need to be good at self-help and googling your own answers to questions (which is luckily pretty easy). You have to deal with sampling for larger reports on the free version. A lot of the new additions which have been hyped up have been pretty weak once released (User ID view, etc).

### "Very useful but difficult to learn"

April 19, 2021

5.0

I have a love/hate relationship with Google Analytics. It’s definitely useful and has helped us make improvements on our sites and learn more about our customers behaviors. But it’s also frustrating because we doing have enough time to use it as well as we could be. I got through a couple of sections in the course and never found the time to go back and finish setting it up properly.

Pros

Google Analytics is one of the best tools to help with SEO - it collects data about users on your website so that you can analyze it and determine the best ways to target your visitors. This is pretty crucial for anyone trying to get their site ranked on Google, and also helps with a lot of other things. The data gathered will tell you a lot about your site visitors such as their age, where they live, the type of device they use, and much more. It’s gets very granular. It can also help you determine if there are areas/pages on your site that need improvement. For example, if you notice that everyone leaves on the same page during the checkout process, there’s a good chance something is broken in that part of the process and you’ll know you need to investigate the problem. Honestly, there is so much data that Google Analytics provides, and so many ways it can help you, this could turn into a book. Or an entire college course. Needless to say, I won’t describe everything here - partly because it would take too long and partly because there’s still a lot I don’t know about Analytics. But if you (or your company) maintains a website and is looking to reach more customers, in the right target market, and rank in search engines, this is a must.

Cons

It so very time-consuming to learn how to use. Google offers a free course with multiple sections and videos to show you how to set your account up, explain the various features, etc. It’s pretty daunting to me, mainly because I’m a website designer and it’s hard to find adequate time to devote to learning all the Ins and outs of it, and to properly monitor the data it provides on a regular basis. To get the most out of Analytics, a company would pretty much need to have a full-time employee that just does this and nothing else.

### "The Non-Negotiable Software For Website/Business Owners"

October 3, 2019

5.0

With Google Analytics, I have a comprehensive understanding of when people are visiting my website, what actions they are taking when they get there, and how it affects my bottom line. I know what marketing channels are most effective for me (organic vs. paid) and am able to make data driven decisions based on information that I know is accurate. Syncing this data with other products such as Google Data Studio also makes it easy to put together presentations for team meetings and executive retreats.

Pros

Google Analytics gives you everything you need to succeed in your online business, offering comprehensive data to help you understand how users interact with your website. From real-time reporting to custom data sets based on your desired conversions and events, everything is trackable within Google Analytics. To get the most out of the application, I would also recommend getting yourself Analytics certified, using Google's intuitive LMS software.

Cons

There's very little to complain about when it comes to using Google Analytics. If you aren't familiar with the system, it may take you a while to figure where to find the data that you're looking for, but with a little time (and going through the certification process) you can easily transform the way you use data to make decisions for your business.

We use Google Analytics 360 to harvest BI on our customers' web and ecommerce sites.

Pros

The nicest thing for Google Analytics is that it's a one-stop-shop that does everything you reasonably need and integrates smoothly with more or less everything.

Cons

The two things we like least about Google Analytics 360 are the lack of customizability beyond what's already built in and the time-to-time change of fundamental stuff like the terms of use, api, UI, and so on that force you to adapt again or miss a useful feature.

### "All about Google Analytics"

May 30, 2020

5.0

So being the user of Google analytics, I can conclude that, the software can be used almost in every field. Having the simple interface will help the users to interact easily with the software, but considering the price can limit the low scale businesses from accessing the advanced features. Overall, I have a good experience with this software.

Pros

I like many things about this software. Some of them are as following: - It helps the users to create the custom reports for their analytics, - It also help the user to interact easily with the software using its several tools, like luck orange, - It genuinely shows the actual data and also let you know the source of the traffic, which is a great thing for all the user, - Even you can export the reports to excel sheets too, - It helps the users to track their created campaigns from any device, - the keyword planner tool of for keyword analysis is also very much simple and about 99% accurate as compared to the other tools, - It also compares the bounce rate with the exit rate to help the user experience problems. This is really a powerful tool, which should be used by all the business companies related to media and entertainment organizations.

Cons

The software will let the users know about the entry and exit of the visitor, but it can't let the user know the accurate results about the mean time(middle part) between their entry and exit from the site or page. If there is a high exit rate in a page, then obviously, there will be a problem with the page itself, but google analytics will not let the user know about that fault or missing thing, so the user is left only with the last option of isolating the page. Overall, it does not let the user know, about "why the user is doing what he wants to do? ". Having so many features in the software helps the organizations to evolve their business, but for low scale business, where the budget is a constraint, this software can't work for them, with advanced features, as for having advanced features, the software actually cost around $15000 which is a pretty high price for the beginners. So price can be a factor for counting it's cons.

### "Google Analytics is the best."

June 16, 2022

4.0

With Google Analytics 360, we managed to have an overview, full control of our operations and data.

Pros

What I like about this software is that you can benefit from insights exclusively provided by Google. You can also transform data into insights such as intelligent data analysis.

Cons

What I liked least about this software is that there is no reassuring certainty that additional calls will be answered.

Reason for choosing Google Analytics 360

Google Analytics 360 is one of the best platforms to better capture all of its data.

### "Gold Standard"

December 17, 2018

5.0

Without Google Analytics, we would have no idea what is going on with our site. We would not understand what browsers are being used, what percentage visit with mobile devices, where visitors are coming from, etc. GA allows us to make data-informed decisions--not guesses--about where improvements need to be made. With each iteration of our site, GA guides menu creation, page layouts, site structure, etc. We are continually tweaking our websites based on the data provided by GA.

Pros

Without question, Google Analytics (GA) is the gold standard of website analytics suites, especially since you get so much for no cost. I love that you can track multiple properties from one login, tracking conversions, behavior, visitor origin, exit point, how long they stay on your site, etc. For most people, GA is all you need to understand what is happening on your site, how well your SEO is working, the effectiveness of campaigns, etc. The reporting functionality is robust, and you can export reports to several formats for sharing. Allowing others access to GA so they can get the data is available, although the controls lack significant granularity. But the filtering of data is robust--just about any control you could want in this area is available. And since GA is everywhere, there are plugins for every major CMS that make it easy to implement on your site. I also like the new mobile app, which allows you to track your site's performance easily from your mobile device. Official documentation is robust, and there is no end of YouTube videos, blogs, and articles from third parties to assist with getting the most benefit from GA.

Cons

Data visualization on anything other that the GA site requires a separate service. GA is very complex and with Google making frequent changes to the product, it's easy to get behind with understanding where things are located and how it works. Google also seems to have eliminated one of my favorite features, the heat map, which showed where visitors were going on a page in real time.

### "Best Reference for decision making and action planning for the SEO of e-commerce website"

September 15, 2021

5.0

Google analytics is amazingly useful for getting data reports related to websites like number of visitors, their website interaction and behavior. It's a very easy to use platform for web and data analysts. It can provide a good data reference for planning and improving search engine optimization of companies' websites, especially those e-commerce websites where lots of buying and selling transactions are being done.It has a big impact on decision making for future website development and update. I can guarantee that this is one of the best analytic tools that exist nowadays widely used as data reference for advertising. The free version is already very helpful, So expect that there’s a lot more amazing features on the paid one. One of the best features of Google Analytics is that it syncs with google service platform and google ads, so there are more chances of getting potential customers or clients.

Pros

\-Tracking of website visitor -Keeping record and reporting of user behavior -Funneling of Website content

Cons

\-Customization of event tracking would be a big help -Additional or more details about website visitors can be a big advantage -The user interface is good but for first time users, it might be too much.

### "Best software to track Website analytics and SEO"

January 8, 2024

5.0

Pros

The best thing about Google Analytics is that it provides traffic in real time (30 minutes). I am able to track keywords for which I rank on Google and discover the source of traffic. This helps in making the website more optimized for conversions.

Cons

The UI is quite complex and it takes time to get used to it. That's the major con about using Google Analytics 360
