Cons The problem with GoHighLevel comes at the expense of certain things, such as you providing a sub account to a client, you become their software provider as well, which means you will have to take care of certain technical things as set up, building workflows, training AI. Read This Review First - $100K + per month on Kajabi $0 on HighLevel" November 3, 2024 1.0 I'm currently using Kajabi for various projects, and I wanted to give GHL a shot because it's receiving a lot of attention via their affiliates who are strongly incentivized to promote the product because they earn money doing so. I ended up joining at ther $497 level, with real motivation to not only build out a course but also earn on the software side by connecting my students to built out done for you snapshots for their own businesses. This was much more of an undertaking that I estimated. Note that I am successful in the online course space, and live from this type of business currently. I ended up having to hire a team of people to build out the "agency" side, and could never get things working properly. I'd try to go into the platform myself to update things and would have to spend HOURS watching tutorials on how to do BASIC things. The platform is for computer programmers, not for marketers. Everything from creating a basic landing page sign up, to communities, to courses is SO SO SO complicated to set up, run and scale. Their business model is DO EVERYTHING, but DO NOTHING WELL. I'd say none of their product work to expectation, or even close. I've spent 10's of thousands of dollars trying to get this going but it's just a hopeless money pit. I would not recommend for anyone that does not have the budget to hire a staff of 10 to get the project going. I've ended up pulling the plug on the project, and feel relieved but also so annoyed that I wasted to much time and money learning this clunky platform thinking it was going to be a great solution for me. Pros The platform is inspiring, and instills a "you can do anything with GHL" mindset through all of their marketing channels. This mindset is about the only positive thing I can say about the platform. Cons Everything is overly complicated, clunky, poorly designed, glitched, and difficult to navigate. I can't say anything positive about my experience with GHL. It can be used as a CRM, marketing automation, landing pages, SMS messages, AI chat. For our clients it’s a ve try easy to use system. Cons Building landing pages in this system is very annoying. It has very limited functions. The AI chat, it’s confusing to build and train. And setting up a phone number for SMS took us 5 weeks. It also lags sometimes. Was very easy to use after learning the software. Occasionally there were some connectivity issues between call lines, which I believe were powered by Ring Central at the time. Eventually that got sorted out and was seamless to operate on. Pros Ability to organize sales pipeline by progression of relationship, calendars to zoomlinks, and ability to have an integrated call out line from HighLevel. While it's absolutely great just what you can do with it, especially as an agency with many marketing clients, the sheer amount of features and integrations means overwhelm if you don't really know what you're doing. Also, High Level seems to be the fastest Marketing Suite on the planet when integrating new features like AI, WhatsApp Messaging and more... yet, if you're even faster than they are, it's sometimes tricky to integrate your solutions to theirs. January 31, 2022 5.0 I am the HighLevel administrator for multiple private schools who use it to build landing pages for social media campaigns, send free info kits, schedule open houses, send automated texts and open house reminders, take enrollment deposits, and send bulk emails and texts to specific segments of their contacts. Overall, the experience has been great, and I have recommended it to others. Pros HighLevel has a comprehensive onboarding program that is easy to follow. They have excellent customer support. The automated appointment scheduling and reminder campaigns are saving my clients tons of time. We love that we can combine calendars on one page so that from one location, potential clients can select the calendar for the campus they'd like to visit. Cons Most of their support "articles" are in the form of videos which can be helpful, but a transcript of the videos would be much appreciated when I don't want to watch a 12-minute video waiting for the 10-second part I really needed. The calendar system is set up for a business that is open on regular hours with consistent appointment lengths. We are having to use some work-arounds to block out dates on our open house calendars since the open houses are only a few times a month for varying days/times. Lots of promises to fix my account that didn't work. All Broken Promises. So, if they can't get my account open and ready for me to work in it, how will they handle a REAL problem when it arises? Pros Worked great for 3 days, then it didn't work at all. Cons They kept promising me that my account was "fixed". I spent dozens of hours on phone with support because I did not want to lose the 25 hours of work. They kept promising me it is fixed now. Finally they had a PROGRAMMER diagnose and fix my account. Then worked for about 10 days, I put dozens of hours into my websites and back to the account being messed up again. On their end, it's simple and gives them access to what they need (and what they don't). It's a great all-in-one tool. There's a learning curve but the customer service is great and they are adding new features all the time. Pros This software does it all! It's a fantastic software to put everything in one place and to simplify digital marketing. I love being able to copy things from one client to another client's location. It makes it easy to set up a system and duplicate it without duplicating the effort. It integrates with everything we need it to and it's a fantastic software. Cons It's still on the newer side, so new features are always being rolled out. It isn't always the most intuitive software and some of the features are a bit lacking because it's new.
