POSSE PLS Reviews
"True Partnership with Computronix"
Overall: Throughout the entire implementation and after, Computronix has been a partner, interested more in getting us what we need to get our jobs done, rather than trying to up-sell functionality that is of no purpose to us. A fantastic company to work with. They really take the time to get to know the users and their needs. It feels like the vendor and our project team are one big team, not two separate entities.
Pros: We are in the mist of a multi-year implementation of POSSE LMS. Phase one went live in November, with the Work Order Management piece of the Code Enforcement module. Our users love being able to see the cost of each work order as it relates to each asset. It will allow them to better anticipate when equipment needs to be replaced. The ease of keeping track of their inventory, in their many warehouses, has totally rocked their world. Keeping track of inventory on spreadsheets was inefficient and not at all accurate. Now, our warehouse managers no longer need to stockpile items, as they can see when they are low on specific items and only order what is needed.
Cons: There is no distinction between configuration and customization. Only things that will take you off of the upgrade path is considered customization to Computronix, but a lot of what is called configuration is actually customization, as we ourselves cannot configure all of the functionality. We were looking for a product where we would be able to upgrade ourselves, without needing to depend on the vendor. As we got deeper into the project, it was obvious that we will not be able to this, and will need to hire the vendor for every upgrade. Also, each individual module (POSSE, LMS, Ad Hoc Reporting, etc. ), is on a different upgrade schedule.
