Una volta imparato per ciò che mi serviva fare, mi ha aiutato in tantissimi campi oltre che per quello dello sviluppo. Pros Git è il miglior software di versionamento del codice, inoltre è open source e ben mantenuto e integrato con tantissimi altri software. Cons Git purtroppo risulta difficile da imparare se non si sa niente della linea di comando e del terminale, e bisogna passarci del tempo se si vuole conoscere a pieno ogni sua funzionalità. The basics of git are easy to learn. It took me a while to determine what options and commands I needed to use for certain advanced features, but once I figured them out, they work exactly as expected. Pros Git is very reliable and secure. Maintaining versions of software (or any files) is simple and easy to manage. Cons It takes a bit to learn the command-line interface. Even with all the documentation that is available it is still not easy for using advanced features.
