The new user interface is outstanding. Fantastic tools for project management & bug tracking as well. Pros Absolutely outstanding build & release management tools. If you are developing on the Microsoft .Net platform, and require an on-premise version control system, there is no better choice than Devops Server. DevOps can deploy literally any application to literally any location. Cons Minutes to learn, years to master. It will take some time to learn all the features available. Shipping of product is easier and the team is able to master the entire application suite quickly which increased team velocity. Pros The most important feature of this software for us is how we have all the tools in one place. This makes it easy to plan, develop, deploy and manage our software. The interface is also friendly and navigation is easy. The tight integration with Microsoft Azure Cloud also enhances the easy of deploying changes rapidly. Cons While it has great feature, the tight integration with Microsoft Azure Cloud makes it a bit difficult to switch to other cloud offerings if the need arises. Reason for choosing Azure DevOps Server We chose Azure Devops Server because we are essentially a .NET shop and we have used it ever since. The test plan part is very interesting, not only as a way of maintaining evidence and graphs, but it is also useful in performing functional tests. Cons The tool itself is very interesting and functional. However, on the test plans side, adding a new suite could be simpler for the user. This tool can easily be used from small-scale to large business organizations that follow the agile methodology. It is really easy to also integrate 3rd party applications with Azure DevOps. It is an DevOps project that manages the entire SDLC and STLC life cycles simultaneously. It is easy to set up sprints, backlogs, plans and follow the hierarchy like Epic, Tasks, user stories, bugs, etc. This is highly reliable and secure. The user interface is remarkable and really easy to understand. It is easy to set user permissions and the overall control flow makes us love this tool a lot over JIRA and many others. Unlike other tools, it is very easy to set up and even free for 5 users, so it's best for small teams. Pros It is perfect when it comes to manage our code versions, in my case i use it to manage my RPA processes developed using UiPath, it works flawlessly, a really must have. I mean most of the people use this to manage Code, but my point is that it is more than that. It is flexible and it is very easy to start using, i mean it is fast to learn. And another great thing is the compliance with AGILE methodology. Although the UX could use some attention to make it easier to navigate, the tool seems to have a lot of promise. Pros I like that there is an easy tiering system and built in Kanban board and burndown charts for my scrum team. The functionality seems to be good but I need to continue exploring before making a final judgement call. My team has been using this software for <6 months at the time of this review.
