It helps me with the peace of mind that if/when a critical incident or downtime occurs, I will have this system in place. There won't be as much of a panic because everything will be organized and everyone will be able to communicate easily. The fact that there are experts behind Exigence that deal with this stuff all the time makes me more comfortable.

Pros

I believe Exigence is a very useful software because it clearly outlines everything every step of the way. It shows who in the company has taken which action and when in order to solve the incident. It sends all types of notifications to make sure first responders see that there is an issue. Not only this, but Exigence responds with an article that can most likely fix your problem. There is the Situation Room where everyone can communicate on the same platform, rather than people emailing, calling, texting, etc and having to update each other. Everything is laid out in a simple way that even people that are not in the IT department can understand. Because we all know that IT aren't the only people working in these situations. The fact that there is also post incident learning is very helpful, because it's so important to learn from your mistakes. This can help more efficient remediation in the future. Overall, I think this is an amazing product and give a strong recommendation to try out their free demo.

Cons

At the beginning I didn't quite understand why this software was necessary to handle critical incidents and downtime, so I was apprehensive to start using it. But after some experimentation I understood its importance. I think it's hard to take the first step to invest in something, but with all of the cyber incidents that occur today, I think it is a valuable asset.
