I will say that working with \[sensitive content hidden\] was a wonderful experience. She was extremely patient and was always willing to go above and beyond. I am not sure if I would have enjoyed the experience as much if it were not for her.

Pros

I like the efficiency and options. You can do quite a bit with this software. I also like how you can filter easily and locate what is needed.

Cons

It was a bit overwhelming with the set up. I also think at times locating the problem can be a bit complicated.

Overall, we have just recently implemented but we are having a very successful launch with many of managers and leaders able to work within the system without a lot of initial training.

Pros

Datarails is easy to use but sophisticated enough to meet our needs. It is an Excel based platform with many built-in dashboards and AI capabilities

Cons

Not as robust and the more sophisticated options but a good product for the money which was a factor in our decision.

Solid overall — reliable governed data access and Excel-native workflows that speed up variance and reporting work, though occasional query quirks require patience. Practical, not flashy.

Pros

Live Excel integration — DR.GET formulas pull governed, real-time actuals into existing models, eliminating stale copy-paste data.

Cons

Aggregation performance and field compatibility can be inconsistent — some queries need workarounds, and results depend heavily on clean underlying table governance.

Overall I have found Datarails great, it is a real time saver around month end and busy periods due to the quickness of being able to run reports whist also being secure. It also has a very user friendly dashboard and visually easy to read and follow as a new user which is always helpful.

Pros

What I like most about Datarails is how user friendly it is with report generating, whether it is a TB you're after or a data download it does both very quick and saves time running reports manually so you can plan more effectively.

Cons

I haven't found anything that I dislike about Datarails as I am able to complete everything I need and have not come across any bugs or issues since using it.

Our experience has been fantastic both with the product and the implementation team. It has provided our team with creating efficiencies by giving our clients direct access to key financial metrics 24/7.

Pros

The user-friendly presentation of data for our clients to view and the ease in which we have been able to implement the software on our side.

Datarails has exceeded my expectations, especially given their patience when we experienced delays implementing our data warehouse.

Pros

Datarails is easy to use, especially if you’re already familiar with Excel. It has helped me automate our P&Ls using our newly developed data warehouse, and it’s also helped us spot issues in the warehouse along the way, which was an added perk. Because portions of our data warehouse have been delayed, our Datarails implementation has been delayed as well. We were worried we might run out of time, but Datarails has continued to support us even though we’ve gone beyond the originally expected timeline. I’m very grateful for their patience.

Cons

I was hoping to incorporate employer-paid federal, state, and local income tax tables into our employee cost budgeting, since all of our corporate employees work remotely across different states. However, Datarails didn’t have tax tables available, and neither did our payroll vendor. We could have done our own research and built the tax tables ourselves, but the time and effort required to keep them updated didn’t feel justifiable. I understand that most of Datarails’ clients either don’t budget at this level of detail or they provide their own tax tables, but I was really hoping Datarails would have something we could use.

10/10! Excellent software, and with the AI Connector we have almost unlimited possiblities to create new reports, run analysis, and increase out productivity!

Pros

With Datarails we have full controll of our PL, BS, CF and ARR. Implementation was very good, working alongside highly skilled people guiding us and solving our needs. When we were done implementing the software the AI Connector was released, and this was another gamechanger!

Cons

The need to reconnect and authenticate a bit to often is a bit annoying, but its a small issue considering how great the product is.

my overall experience is a positive one, it has made my working processes faster and less manual, rather than intensive data manipulation, I just click refresh and off it goes!

Pros

The seamless use, when everything is set up and mapped, it cuts down processing times and reporting deadlines came forward, it's UI is very intuitive and easy to use, I've not personally encountered any bugs or issues that weren't down to errors in the data itself, this has made budgeting and financial month end processes seamless and I would recommend Datarails to any business that has lengthy data processing times

Cons

Data Rails can be a little bit fiddly initially to get everything set up and working, but this is to be expected when dealing with varying data sets from various group entities, but once the set up is complete, Datarails handles the rest

Overall I think datarails is a really good product and I would recommend it to other business and people working within finance.

Pros

The quick and easy access to large volume of financial data and the ability to filter this data using datarails functionality.

Cons

It refreshes once every hour, meaning if you've posted something you have to wait an hour for it to flow through datarails

Overall I would highly recommend Datarails for any company with large data sets that come in from several different sources and require employees to pull multiple data reports to generate monthly, or any repeating, reports. There are a lot of ways to customize data imported into Datarails and reports generated by Datarails.

Pros

I like how Datarails can automate the data import process and report generation. With Datarails I can set up the reports and data import once and generate our monthly reports in minutes. They also have great representatives who will help you get things set up and teach you how to use Datarails. I have been mostly working with \[sensitive content hidden\] and they have been exceptionally helpful in making sure our data is importing correctly and making sure I know how to use Datarails like a pro.

Cons

We had some issues getting our data to import correctly into Datarails. We are a very security conscious company and that can make our data hard to access even by third parties we want to have access to our data. \[sensitive content hidden\] at Datarails was very great at working with our IT team to find a way to connect to our data, despite the difficulties.
