This is a massive tool for scan automation. It takes some time to set all up well but once configured this solution has a huge impact to business processes.

Pros

If you like to automate your Scan Performance to it‘s fullest, then you‘ll love this piece of solution. With it‘s KI and the possiblility to merge different recognition options, there is nothing which the software can‘t analyse. The failure rate is extreemly low and will raise, as the system will improve during the time of use.

Cons

The setup and the configuration is a bit tricky. You‘ll need to have a guide or better go for a training @ Kofax, then you‘ll be prepared

I'm still getting used to the different functionality that OpenForms provides (from our original PDF forms). Using the forms (and creating them) is very different than what I am used to. I'm still just in the free trial period, but once I've got the real account and start publishing the forms I've been creating, I'm excited to see how our customers feel about the forms.

Pros

I like the ease of creating simple forms.

Cons

There are certain features and functionality I would like to see, but that are not there. According to Customer Support, some of the functionality I asked about is "coming", but we'll see.

Our company didn't want to review our licenses for Adobe. I'm not sure if there was more to making that decision, but if there was, I'm not aware of it.
