Pros WrkLst is quite intuitive and visually it is very organized and straightforward. I like that Dashboard is customizable. It's been great for what I do as a Registrar. Location updates are quick and easy in the desktop and app version. The shipping module is very nice for keeping documents and other details of a shipment in one place. I love that I can connect shipping modules and consignment modules to exhibitions and vice versa. I love being able to add packing dimensions and weight, and the View in Room feature is cool. It is easy to tell when something is paid in full, or when an active consignment is ending soon. I love that I can have artwork draft emails go directly to my Gmail. It's easy to make documents and if I have any issue, however minor, customer support is quick to respond. I especially love, with the lastest improvement specifically, that multiple record updates don't show up on the Dashboard in real time! Cons I would like to be able to minimize the left hand window that pops up when looking at or updating any one contact, artwork or exhibition record. I think there is a great use for it, but visually it can be distracting so the option to minimize that window could be nice. Also I miss the "Refresh Basket" button!! I don't use the Timeline or Messages or Outreach features, so I cannot speak to their functionality. Switched from [Artlogic](https://www.capterra.com/p/170623/Artlogic/) I changed jobs ultimately, but Artlogic is very expensive, their customer support is sub par and their product is ugly to look at with no real functionality. It is not customizable and you have to find ways to make the database work for you, so you're not really using it to its full potential and often need to outsource to Quickbooks or Monday.com for sales and project management related issues that arise. Again, whenever we need something to be updated to work differently, our request is heard and they find a way to make it happen. The software is very well-structured and constantly reviewed and improved; the set of features and level of depth covers everything I could wish for. \[sensitive content hidden\] is always easy to reach and happy to help. For me, WrkLst makes art inventory handling feel less of a chore. It simply is a good solution and a business worth supporting. They also support their clients by coming to openings and their presence at art fairs makes it clear their dedication to their customers. The team is a joy to work with. Wkrlst does not have a steep learning curve and is generally intuitive. Pros It is relatively easy to learn. You can upload at images all at once! The bio function connecting to a readily available PDF format makes my life so easy, as do many of the features. You can tell it was designed by people with unique insights into how galleries function presently, but also the capacity to forsee future needs and developments. I love that all the functions cross-list so that the entire inventory process is streamlined and feeds int other purposes - checklists, etc. It is also highly useful that they use both PDF and DOCx formats when documents leave the platform. Cons You cannot customize wkrlst for indexical/ list-based functionality. The modules are more or less unable to be customized for individual performance. Otherwise I really have no coplaints. You have access to your database from everywhere and if your local server in your house crashes, you can still work further on. The support is great and fast! Cons The monthly fee scales with the amount of items you add. If you have a very big data base it might get expensive. The system is easy to use and has many useful features that have greatly improved our efficiency. For starters, it allows us to export previews, PDFs for clients, consignments, invoices, CVs, contacts and more on the gallery letterhead with proper formatting. This has saved us countless hours creating and formatting these documents. Wrklst also allows us to filter and sort in meaningful ways. The inventory or works section of Wrklst allows me to change the work's availability, input packing notes, production costs, as well as condition notes in addition to the general work details. The biographies section allows us to update artists CVs and easily export them. We have Wrklst connected to our website such that when we make changes to an artists CV on Wrklst it automatically updates on the website. Another great function is the multi-edit feature, which allows us to make changes to a group of works instead of modifying each work individually. Some other great parts of the system are the shipments section and the exhibitions section. When you go into the individual work, all of this information is recorded, so you can see the shipment details and exhibition history. Overall, Wrklst has become an indispensible part of our gallery, and we are so glad that we switched. Cons There are no significant issues with this service. Pros This software allows me to easily access and edit 50 years of an artist's oeuvre with all the different points of entry I need. With WRKLST's minimal, well-organized, and attractive layout, I'm able to quickly move from the big picture and the individual details of my boss's prolific art production. What I like about this software is its adaptability and organization - the Multi-Tool and List functions allow me to edit and group entire series of works at once, allowing for efficient and visual systematizing and archiving. It's highly functional. Also, the customer service is incomparable. When I have had trouble with the system or needed some coaching I have been able to get customer support immediately and, in some cases, have had the platform minutely customized to suit my needs. Cons This was originally designed for galleries and I'm using it to archive a single artist's work, which means there are some interface navigation details which don't totally suit my needs. To mark an artwork as "sold" and enter the details of the sale, for example, I have to create a sale outside of the individual artwork's own page, rather than being able to edit the artwork's sale history directly while creating its entire entry.
