The software itself is easy to use. Overall, I'm glad I managed to be able to use Cargobase. It saves a lot of manual work. Pros All informations about a specific shipment are under a shipment ID (therefore in one place), which is much easier to find, instead of reading 10-20 e-mails. Also, the customer support is untouchable, with full and quickly support. Cons I didn't like the parcel shipments segment. There are automatical quotes for a shipment and you cannot contact any person (from parcel) on Cargobase and you'd have to switch to e-mail. Also, if any of the fields are not completed correctly, you don't receive quotes and you don't know which are the incompleted fields that require a specific parcel forwarder to quote. We are in the middle of launch process and with all this COVID-19 situation transportation market is a complicated field but with Cargobase we can find the solutions we need in the perfect moment. It allows me to clearly see the transit time and the cost of each shipment before selecting the freight forwarder. Pros I like how it can be altered to each customers needs. I also like how it is very self explanatory, not a lot of instructions are needed. Cons I do not like the multiple screens, I would like to just scroll down one page. Cons the fact that its more hard to control/ audit the quality of the quotes, meaning that system allows vendors to quote only partially (i.e. PTP) even if the requester asked for full DTD quote & therefore - the award can be based not all real complete figures.
