vjoon K4 Reviews
"Our vjoon K4 system has been incredibly valuable for both print and digital publishing"
Overall: vjoon K4 automates a lot of the tasks involved in producing our magazine. Since we’re a weekly with tight deadlines, we needed a system that is both easy to use and efficient. We use K4 to create, edit, and publish all of our content, whether it’s for print or online. With K4’s use of metadata and tagging, it helps us to efficiently organize our print content, and to deliver both print and web exclusive content to our website faster than ever, and with fewer staff.
Pros: K4 uses Adobe Creative Cloud apps, which our team is already familiar with, and offers the agile workflow tools we need for our staff to collaborate in real time, with many of our writers and editors spread out across the country. K4 integrates with all the systems we need it to, and it saves us a lot of time.
Cons: The system is complex, but our K4 integrator has helped to flatten the learning curve. Once you have a workflow in place, the system is solid, but you have to allow sufficient time for training and workflow automation tasks and refinement.

"vjoon K4 allows us to manage multiple publications efficiently"
Overall: We’ve used K4 for almost 10 years and it’s been both reliable and efficient. vjoon keeps up well with their compatibility with the Adobe products, and there are several additional modules and third-party integrations supported by vjoon.
Pros: K4 offers a convenient and efficient way to organize and manage our publications. K4 is easy to maintain once it’s rolled out and it integrates seamlessly into Adobe InDesign and InCopy, software that everyone is already familiar with.
Cons: K4 offers a lot of different options with respect to user and workflow setup, such that it can seem a little confusing at times. Once you start working with it though, it becomes clearer that you can set up both very rudimentary user/group permissions and workflows as well as very complex ones depending on your requirements.
