It has helped reduce development effort, create reusable solutions, and empower teams to build engaging SharePoint experiences without needing extensive coding knowledge. What stands out just as much as the product itself is the people behind it. The ShortPoint team consistently adds new features and design elements, listens to customer feedback, and provides outstanding support. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping their customers succeed. I appreciate that they've taken my feedback seriously and have incorporated ideas into future releases. At this point, I genuinely can't imagine building a SharePoint environment without ShortPoint. It's a fantastic product backed by a team that truly cares about its users. Pros What I love most about ShortPoint is how easy it makes it to transform SharePoint into something that actually looks and feels like a modern digital workplace. Out of the box, SharePoint can be limiting when it comes to design and branding, but ShortPoint fills that gap perfectly. The ability to create reusable page templates, apply global styling, and build beautiful pages with little to no code has saved countless hours of development time. I've introduced ShortPoint at two different organizations, and in both cases, it became an essential part of our SharePoint strategy. The platform is intuitive, flexible, and helps maintain a consistent look and feel across the entire environment. Cons Honestly, there isn't much I would consider a downside. If anything, the biggest challenge is realizing how much you depend on it once you've experienced what it can do. Going back to a standard SharePoint environment without ShortPoint feels like a step backward. Pros We have found Shortpoint incredibly easy to install and manage our employee intranet. Our brand is able to be consistent and professional, staff are able to easily find the content they need. Communication has become easier and felt less siloed. Shortpoint also has INCREDIBLE support. I know if I have an issue, they're going to be responsive and get to the bottom of it. Cons Some of the more recent updates have broken other components and so we've had to stay at a previous version for awhile while they try to solve the issue. Cons integration with microsoft out of the box features is minimal at the moment, if you want to mix & match webparts between the 2 products to use their best features the site feel will be strange. they mentioned they are working on integrating microsoft webparts inside their product, if that update is done it will be a game changer.
