As a matter of fact, one of my recent checks came back in 1 hour of inviting the candidate. Pros The platform is very friendly to use. They keep you informed of the process. Cons Not a thing!!! Turnaround time is fantastic on results. Any time I've run into a challenge, the Support team in accessible and helpful. Cons I would love an option to send approvals by text message. I had to elevate it to the sales representative. It was taken care of at that point. Pros It is easy to order a report. Most reports returned the same day, or within a couple of days. Cons There was one report on a male client that took 4 weeks to return, with no explanation. Helpful to manage our volunteers who require a background check. Cons I paid for a premium tier background check tier that included employment an education verification services. The employee was in a rush so he clicked skip. He then wanted to come back and answer it. won't let him do that. He asked me to look into it and I need to pay again. Customer support said their default settings is to allow people to skip questions, charge the company, and then have them pay for it again. They can change this setting, but you have to ask. January 31, 2022 5.0 Great!! Pros That it is integrated with our HRIS system Paylocity. The ease from recruitment to on-boarding to new-hire all in the same system is PHENOMINAL!! Cons nothing really at this time...maybe the help desk support for the candidates/new hires if something didn't go through. The background checks come back quickly and are thorough. Enjoy this product a ton for its time saving it provides us. Pros It works with our database and integrates so that we are able to focus on the client and not focus on checking off a box. Pros Very easy to use and it is very in sync with our HRIS system (paylocity). Where we can order the test through paylocity and it automatically goes to with no issues. Cons When using this software it sometimes is unclear when viewing candidates from home page, may be easier to view if the candidates were separated more defined (i.e. a chart). Pros Fast and efficient straight to point and gave me all the info I needed to know to have a background check Cons Response time with editing name. Pros integrates easily with Planning Center. It's fast and easy to use. Results are automatically added. Cons The only challenge I've had is with the automatic billing. I get emails with bills saying to disregard if I have automatic payment set up. I find that confusing. Although I have automatic billing with a card on file, it does NOT go through. I've contacted both by email and phone and have not been able to get it resolved. Also, when the invoice comes with the results, the second page has tiny font that makes it unable to be printed for recordkeeping. I will not be using again for future background checks. I advise fellow Clients to look somewhere else. DO NOT USE CHECKR!! Pros I used for the first time. Unfortunately, I do not have anything positive to list here. Cons 1\. When I signed up, I was told that my first background check was free which was definitely not the case. False promise! 2. No where on the platform pricing is listed. User is initiating background checks blindly. 3. There is no option provided to club the different background checks into one package for the same candidate. As a result, candidate had to fill out the same form multiple times. This was frustrating for the candidate and the Employer. 4. I was charged twice for the same background check 5. Contacted Customer Support team twice regarding my invoice.
