To be specific, a product like Driver Pro takes shorter time than before. That's why we get to help a lot of drivers now. Pros It works in a detailed manner and it has the reports needed for every background check. Cons Some products depending on the region of the driver takes longer time than the usual. Pros The ease of use and integration with our current church database (Planning Center) has made this tool our go to for all volunteer background checks. Knowing the accuracy and promptness of Checkr gives us and our parents ease of mind that we have done our due diligence in protecting our children. Cons There are some rare occasions where we have needed a volunteer to fill a Sunday morning role and the background check may not be returned instantly on late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, but that is such a rare moment. November 21, 2022 5.0 My team really loves it. We have been using it for close to a year and we really dont have any major complaints. Would highly recommend it. Pros We love how fast the turnaround time is for running background verifications. The solution we used to use prior to Checkr used to take almost twice as long. My team also liked how responsive their support team was when we had to contact them. The entire process (both for us and the candidate) is really fast and painless. Lastly, it also integrates nicely into our ATS. Cons While the pricing is pretty affordable, it can still be hard to find at specific times. Would love it if it was way more clearer upfront. Really a great tool to vet candidates and get people hired! Pros Extremely easy to use. The integration with Greenhouse allows us, and the rest of the recruiting team, to easy select the type of background check required for the specific role and send to the prospective new employee. Very easy to teach people how to use it and it's super great that they can integrate with a lot of HRIS for automation. Pros It is very simple to use. Implementation was a breeze when we enrolled in our previous HRIS, where once they signed their offer letter Checkr would send them the background package. We have switched our HRIS and that process was easy as well. The best thing about the service is how quick it is, where some checks literally take seconds. Cons I want a cleaner UI. A repeated issue is when a new hire does not fill out their background package in time, so we have to go into their profile and then resend it. It would be great for that candidate to request it again themselves. Pricing of the solution is fair and no subscription is needed. For larger organizations a more automated process would be best to use and new contenders have better APIs and automation. Check your use case and need for automation before deciding on a background check solution. Very user friendly and results normally come pretty quickly. Dashboard is well designed and keeps the user up to date. Love the "Request Story" feature built in to engage candidate when flagged. A lot of email communication which is a time suck. No available customer service to remedy your issues in a timely manner. We've made the decision to look for a company that provides an account manager or live support. Pros The product is fairly easy to use and turn-around was very quick Cons 1 - The Employment Verification section is all over the place. The timeline and description of what their process is within the background check results is very confusing due to the language/descriptions and time stamps they use. It really doesn't make a ton of sense and they need to fix it. You also have no idea what time zone they are referencing. 2- lack of CS teams understanding of our needs/inaccurate set-up + it all is done via email (you don't speak to a live rep). 3- Turn around time - I'm finding its taking 10+ rather lengthy emails back and forth to explain what I need...and still encountering background check errors due to wrong set-up. 3 - No live support. This is the biggest issue for me. It would be much easier to discuss platform issues with an assigned account manager. Consequently, I have to wait daily for a response from their CS team, and have several background checks that are in queue but can't be processed due to the background check packages not being set-up properly. This is also holding up our current background check process. Pros Checkr is so easy to use and very user friendly. You can really understand the background check based on the result. Cons The least that I like on checkr is that sometimes the background check took so long to finished like it's already a month and it still not finished. February 1, 2022 5.0 Pros I like how Checkr integrates with Paylocity - creating less steps and automating the process. Cons Contacting Checkr is not immediate, there is not a phone number to call for immediate assistance. It would be beneficial to set up either a plan contact or a monitored phone line for immediate questions - especially if we are in a time crunch and need to have some information. The majority of the time (with employment verifications) there are sections incomplete even if they were able to get ahold of the employer, like the end date for example. The last thing is their ability to override or cancel out a section of the background that isn't necessary after requesting it. For example, if someone accidentally inputs their education incorrectly because they didnt complete a degree - it should be as easy as a click of a button to override the process and mark it as completed after they receive the information that it was input incorrectly and the documentation was sent.
