No paper work, any time results, more to digitialization, no need to store verification forms physically for future use prospective. Pros With this amazing software, can do background verification online. Saves time and more accurate. Just need to fill some basic information and required information is just a click away. Cons This is a new concept however not so popular. Need marketing of this. Cons When we create a profile from Procare online and select a package, that package is not reported in the Checkr website. I have to select the package again when sending the invitation to the candidates.Also. When an invitation link has expired and a new new invitation link is sent to the candidate from Checkr website, that new link and its report results is not updated on Procare online. Procare still keeps the old expired link where as the candidate has been cleared but we can't see it on procare. Pros I think that what I like the most about Checkr is the fact that almost everything is automated, I mean, I just need to send an invitation to my candidates and as soon as they submit all the necessary information and do what they need to do (For example to go and take their Drug screening), I will receive all the information that I need to get them onboard. Cons I would like to receive more appropriate notifications from Checker when it updates information about the candidate. I mean, I know that we can receive notifications from Google chrome for instance, but I would like to receive an email or a text message when what I said before happens. Pros Checkr integrates directly with our ChMS platform, Plans Center. Setting up our account was simple and the processing of BG Checks is quick and efficient. Cons We have not experienced any cons to using Checkr up to this point! I've emailed questions and received little help. I have not received a background check summary, just an email that the person is clear. Pros It's easy to use and the person being checked fills out all of their personal information. Cons Customer service is non-existent. I don't know how my package got set up. I have not seen any report summaries. The person being background checked had to pay for the service. I have had email answers that did not answer the question and I have not been able to find a phone number anywhere for any help. Pros Checkr is very easy to use. Once you have the types of reports you'd like to use set up in the system, all you need to do is add your candidate's email address to launch a search. The communication to our candidate's is clear and timely and the best feature is the report comes back quickly! Cons I rarely need customer support but when needed, it's only via email and response times can take a bit. Review Source MW Mara W. Pros I like that Checkr integrates with our church software, Planning Center. Making its use by my staff really easy. Cons It can be a little complicated on the back side if you're not sure what you're doing. I don't give many people access to that. January 27, 2022 5.0 Pros Running background checks through Checkr is fast and simple. With a few clicks you can send an invite for background check in seconds. You have detailed visibility into the background checks which also expedites the process. Cons Not currently, the software works wonderfully and my only complaint is regarding the timing, but I understand that isn't due to checkr. Review Source wG william G. UI/UX is often understimated but it really makes a great difference in terms of use and productivity! Cons Checkr has some limititations regarding the decision making of the background check and I have also come to see that their customer service is not bad but should be quickier. Pros The system is very easy to use. Doesn't require much training. Cons The reason I switched to this company was because I was pitched a rate SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the one from the company I was using. I expressed the importance of the cost and was assured they could provide me a more cost effective service. I am now tied into a contract with a minimum of $20k in services in a year and am paying 3 times what I was paying with my previous company. They claim the additional costs are outside of their control, yet the company I was previously using does not include the same costs. Although our administrator has struggled with the billing side of it. She prefers writing business checks to pay invoices, while Checkr has urged her to pay online using a card. Pros Ease of use and integration with Planning Center Cons It would be nice if other users could have a login to the dashboard to view details of the background checks, other than the administrator. I haven't had any issues, and I am very satisfied with the product. Pros The ease of use, the visual presentation of the progress, and the email updates are very helpful. They allow me to get hired candidates to work quickly. Cons Sometimes it is frustrating to wait for a particular jurisdiction to complete their part of the background check.
