Pros I enjoy the integration between Checkr & Workable ATS. It streamlines and makes the hiring process to onboarding go smoothly. Cons The thing I like least is in the integration with Workable ATS, there is a separate billing transaction and it makes it easier for us if it was grouped. Results are very fast. Pros Speed of turn-around time; ease of use, integration with other software. Cons The least thing about the product is support. I found a number and called; the rep hung up on me when they found the call was for support. Sales is awesome; support was a battle. Support staff wants to use electronic communication when sometimes you need a person, especially at the beginning. We haven't had any support needs for quite a while. Review Source JF Justin F. Pros The API integration was easy to accomplish, and we were able to add checks from other agencies that are needed in our industry. The process has been completely seamless, and we haven't had any problems with the service. Cons We found the process very manageable, and haven't had any complaints about any part of it. Checks themselves aren't cheap, but the value provided is worth the cost. Pros Checkr was easy to get set up with. I've used other background check providers that make you jump through hoops to get signed up. We were able to get Chekr set up quickly, and it is easy to use. The reports are easy to read. Cons There are no cons that I can think of at this time. Reputable and thorough results. We are pleased. Cons There are nuances in any system that one might prefer to be different, but we don't see those as cons. They are just that, preferences. The Support team were friendly and quick to help! Pros I love that it integrates with Gusto! It's so nice being able to start the background screening process from my Gusto portal. I also love that they've added a Canadian Checkr portal, so I can use them for our Canadian employees, instead of a separate service! Cons Its UI isn't the prettiest in the world, but it doesn't impact the performance or results of the product in any way. However they do not provide the required fingerprinting level check for these position. So I wasted money that they will not refund on BG checks that don't actually meet the minimum standard for the industry. The customer service was no help and displayed no interest in resolving my issues. Keeping our kids safe is a #1 priority and I’m happy know we've covered necessary steps in protecting them from abuse. Pros All I have to input is my volunteers’ email. No more gathering and storing and imputing sensitive personal information! Cons It’s connected to another service so I can’t use it independently. It’s just an added, unnecessary step. Pros This software has a great user interface that allows our staff to quickly and efficiently screen all volunteers that serve in our church. Checkr gives us confidence that the volunteers we approve are safe for our church. Cons I don't have any cons to mention. The program does what we need it to do and does it well. Pros This product is very easy to use and understand. Cons It took a little time to figure out how to see more details behind the alerts, but easy enough to figure out. All you do is input a small amount of information and in just a few minutes you have your results. It used to take sometimes up to 2 weeks just to get my information now it's available within minutes. It really helps when your needing to bring someone in to fill a spot quickly and have no time to waste.
