Cons The website is mostly easy to navigate but there should be an app as well. Costing me more than is acceptable. Pros Pretty fast to open to background check. Not really that hard Cons Ineffective data retrieval. They found a person by the same last name. I do have a common last name. However I have to wait 7 days. December 14, 2022 5.0 Pros We have been using Checkr for a while now and it is extremely reliable when it comes to background checks. I also like how quick the turn around time is for finishing background checks. It is also really easy to use, we dont even have to spend any real time training new users on how to use this. You just select the type of verification, put in the candidate's email and its done. Love it! Cons I have been using this for close to 6 months now and I genuinely cannot think of any cons. Checkr makes it easy and effortless to hire when time is of the essence. Checkr's background check technology helps create a hiring process that is transparent, fair, and helps push the applicant through the hiring funnel. Eliminating the human bias in hiring creates vast opportunities to deepen our pool of talent. And Customer Service is spot-on. Cons One issue I've had is the ability to renew a person's background check automatically, I see in the Checkr site that we have that ability, but our integration doesn't support it. I prefer this background check over any other. Pros Very easy to use, pretty simple and basic. Didn’t require multiple pages to fill out. Does not take long to complete. Cons You should be able to submit one background check in the system and it stays for a year instead of having to submit multiple! Cons I did not like it that we had one applicant who had used an alias and this caused a plethora of issues because he also had a common name. Running background checks with Checkr is a breeze and affordable thanks to the different options and tiers they have available to choose from. That’s great because, for example, you don’t have to spend the money on a driving record check for someone who isn’t going to drive for you. Pros I like the simplicity most of all! Background checks seem like a scary thing at first, but Checkr was easy to set up and easy to learn thanks to their wonderful support documentation. Cons I haven’t found anything to not like about it yet. Granted, I haven’t run too many background checks yet, but so far, it’s been a very positive experience. Review Source DB Diane B. Pros Easy to use and select the services need + candidates find it very intuitive. The results are generally <48 hours at most, and I appreciate that it flags when specific things are pending. When we ran into issues (though they've been few) we were always able to resolve them quickly due to their great customer service! Pros I like that we are able to integrate Checkr into Planning Center Online so that we can seamless request and track background checks for our staff and volunteers from initiation to completion. Pros I like how easy it is to send background check information, the transparency of the tool and product, and how quickly we get results. Cons I don't have many cons; I think it's a straightforward tool, and I haven't had to rely on the CS team, so I can't speak to that.
