Since adopting it, I've consistently achieved close to a 100% participation rate — something I never thought possible with traditional methods. What struck me first was how incredibly easy it is to use and implement: I was up and running within minutes, and it integrates seamlessly with Canvas LMS, PowerPoint, and Panopto. Syncing grades with Canvas is effortless, and the attendance tracking feature alone saves me considerable time every week. It's no surprise that Wooclap has become the most widely used tool at our university outside of the LMS. The depth of its features is remarkable — from word clouds and find-on-image activities to matching questions and multiple-choice prompts where students can justify their answers. Crucially, it's the only student response system I know that supports long question prompts with images and mathematical formulas, which is a game-changer for STEM courses. Results are also very easy to analyze on the spot, enabling real-time feedback that actually shapes the flow of a lesson. The impact on classroom dynamics is hard to overstate. There's a genuine energy that Wooclap creates — students are attentive, actively engaged, and clearly enjoying the experience. Combined with Wooflash, it activates the four pillars of learning: attention, active engagement, feedback, and consolidation. It pairs beautifully with Quizlet too — Wooclap in class, Quizlet at home. Compared to Kahoot, Socrative, or traditional clickers, Wooclap is simply in a different league — more comprehensive, more pedagogically serious, and far more elegant in design. I recommend it without reservation. Pros Wooclap is incredibly easy to use. Wooclap offers a variety of question types that I find extremely useful, such as matching, find-on-image, and word clouds. I also appreciate that students can justify their answers in multiple-choice questions. The results are very easy for instructors to analyze. Cons Wooclap is less comprehensive than Moodle when it comes to file sharing. Students need a smartphone or laptop to participate. I was able to create interactive questions super easily. It's now the most widely used tool at our university. What I love most is the depth of pedagogical possibilities. The variety of question types, allowing students to justify their MC answers. It's way more convenient than traditional clickers. Cons Occasionally, I wish there were even more visual customization options for certain question types, particularly to align them perfectly with my course branding. Pros Wooclap is very easy to use and much more comprehensive than Kahoot. The interface supports a wide range of use cases and is very well designed. Working in a large insurance group, I needed a reliable solution, and Wooclap suited my needs better than competing tools such as Kahoot, Poll Everywhere, or Klaxoon. Cons I was initially looking for a free tool, but none were on the same level as Wooclap.
