I am thinking of recommending the app to my friends and am hopeful that they will like it as much as I do. Pros I think that RethinkBH has been great for me - just like a pal. My well-being has significantly improved since using RethinkBH. I am confident about the fact that my data is secure, and the way my improvement is tracked is amazing Cons I do not find it easy with claims - this might be due to my insurance company, but I am following up with them. Sometimes the application works and sometimes it does not. Pros It’s efficient. Recording data on a iPad is easier than carrying around papers. I also like being able to see my complete schedule. Cons I dislike how if a mistake is made during data collection it doesn’t show the trial by trials. With this new update it does not allow syncing for skills/behaviors unless the minimum trials were inputted, despite if skill was not practiced or behavior didn’t occur. Unable to delete duration on the application for behaviors. It syncs data for those who are not billable. It's unfortunate when it happens because sometimes my notes don't save. Security is excellent. Data collection is easy and good overall. Well organization for patient management, scheduling and calendar. For billing works good as well. Sometimes app is slow and can be frustration while working with a client were you need to collect data. There are a few customizable presets that are available as well when setting up a new student's profile. Cons ReThink's achilles' heal is the limited alterations of inaccurate data collection after the DOS. Contacted support is also less direct as it takes several times to get through by phone and it's less seamless than an active chat feature would be. While I appreciate having electronic data collection, scheduling, and documentation all in one place, I believe the platform still has a lot of growing to do. The biggest issue for me has been the amount of glitches within the app. There are several features available on the website that are not accessible on the mobile app, which can make it difficult to complete certain tasks efficiently while in session. I have also experienced multiple syncing issues where my data duplicated three or four times, which is frustrating and raises concerns about accuracy. In addition, the app tends to drain my device battery significantly during sessions. Although the platform has useful features and potential, I think improvements to the app’s reliability, syncing, and overall user experience would make it much more effective for RBTs in the field. Pros Some pros of using RethinkBH as an RBT are that it allows data collection and session notes to be completed electronically, which helps reduce paperwork and keeps everything organized in one place. The program makes it easy to track client progress, review targets, and communicate with supervisors. I also like that programs and graphs update in real time, making it easier to see progress during sessions. Having scheduling, documentation, and data collection all within one system is convenient and helps sessions run more efficiently. The platform is also helpful for accessing client information remotely and staying organized across multiple cases. Cons Some cons of using RethinkBH as an RBT are that the app has a lot of glitches and is not always reliable during sessions. It is now very easy to start up clients and assign programming to them. I enjoy being able to set programs for future. We have implemented including session data in our session notes which helps with communication with parents. Pros I like that the cost is per staff and not client. I also enjoy how easily we can create our programs and modify them. Cons I don't like that we can't have Canadian addresses. I also dislike that I am stuck with correct/incorrect data points for my programs. I often use PEAK or SBT and would like to be able to manage the type of data point collected based on my preferred programs. May 27, 2026 4.0 I would recommend. To be honest at the very start of Rethink it was very hard to get familiar with it. BUT TAKE into consideration sometimes rethink does not work for a few hours. It starts having trouble loading the webpage or the app. Sometimes they let you know they have an scheduled maintenance, but sometimes this happens without notice. Sometimes this happens with a few staff members or with the whole company. Pros Data collection and how visually appealing the app and the website are. Very user friendly. Visual analysis to explain to parents and take into consideration clinical decision making data driven it's amazing. Cons adding phase changes is somehow limited . The options provided by Rethink are very general and even though we have an option for other sometimes the space given is not enough to write down the full phase change. Which sometimes is necessary when writing reports, take into consideration factors, or if the case is being transferred or shared to another BCBA/ program manager. When you see all they can offer it seems like a dream come true. They bring in with fancy features and options but the bells and whistles do not work when the rubber hits the road. This will make very hard for you to deliver services. Pros They have an expansive array of things that they can provide. Onboarding was great. The security is so good we often could not log in which is both a pro and a con. Cons Customer service and response is terrible. As mentioned onboarding is great. They drop you after that though. The lack of response you get from them will impact your ability to serve people and they do not factor that in to response times. Our company has waited 3-5 days for responses. The responses often do not fix the issue. There are a lot of excuses made about how busy the support and help desk people are which is a red flag.
