### "Easy app builder with simple features"

It's been great, we use it every year for our youth conference and we are happy with the process.

Pros

Subsplash offers an easy tool to put together church related apps and publish them to apple and Google stores. Building an app can be complicated and they really help you through the process all the way to getting your app approved to launch.

Cons

The features are limited and I would say it is only useful for actual churches. It is mainly informational content that you can add.

Pros

Online giving Media library management Both are very nice features.

Cons

VERY EXPENSIVE!!! They are all about getting money, especially with how they hound you about doing financial tracking.

It is nice we haven't had it long, so still learning and experimenting with it. But it has updated our website to look much better and the app is a plus.

Pros

The modern look and the ease of doing an app and website all in one place. It also has livestream built in.

Cons

I feel like support is subpar and could be improved as well as the app and website talking to each other so you don't have to do things twice.

Just love the product and the company!

Pros

It delivers... in all our areas of need. Dynamic website embeds have made a huge impact and reduced our website maintenance significantly.

Cons

The monthly cost is quite high for us in developing countries where there is NOT a favorable US$ exchange rate. A fixed local rate would really work for us!

Subsplash has always been quick to respond to any questions and have worked with me to find great solutions to any ideas I've had. Love that team!

Pros

Subsplash is VERY easy to use and the design options are simple and attractive. They give you plenty of design control, but also the ability to keep things streamlined. Their website feature is fantastic as well!

Cons

I'd love it if they had the ability to have a current "bulletin" feature directly through the app.

The benefits outweigh any negatives with Subsplash, I think it is a great product for those who need it and it can help streamline your group connectivity, participation, giving/fundraising, etc.

Pros

Subsplash is a really helpful program to create a platform for your organization or church to facilitate giving, connectivity, and really market your group. The use of this software has a pretty simple learning curve and the quality is very high!

Cons

The thing that wasn't my favorite was that there was a bit of a challenge setting things up and I can see if your organization or church does not have a designated person for the role of designing or organizing this product, there might be some more work needing to be done. Otherwise, nothing much more to say!

Overall, I'm glad that we switched over to Subsplash. Their customer support is fantastic and they have been very responsive.

Pros

If you want to build an app and you don't know how to code, then Subsplash has a really great solution for you. They have lots of great features that you can build into an app. They also have a website builder that we don't use, but it as a part of their offering.

Cons

We would like to have the ability to do more design customizations. It's probably going to be coming up in an upcoming release by the DEV team.

We have used Subsplash for three years and I would highly recommend it. We have gotten so many compliments on how great the app has been.

Pros

Subsplash provides great visual design and lots of customization. The user interface is easy to use, attractive, and perfect for allowing our organization to put our information out there.

Cons

Searching for old files and media from the admin end can be a bit clumsy.

It gives us an avenue in our today's culture to give options for giving.

Pros

I like the ease it was to sign up and get started. I also like that there are options for the programs like the App side. Plus the cost of transactions were lower than others.

Cons

Having difficulty with help page but they have been great at giving help at every other point.

I love how they are constantly improving the features. It is easy to use and makes managing our podcast seamless across our website, app and iTunes.

Cons

At this point, I don't really have any dislikes about the software. The original learning curve to get our app setup was a little difficult.

Pros

After searching and searching - we finally found a product that we could build our church app on. The software is phenomenal.

Cons

I like every aspect of the software provided by Subsplash. We have been able to develop an app and offer it to both our weekly members and visitors.

Subsplash has allowed for easy content management for our local congregation. Our people really enjoy the ease of being able to download an app and have access to sermons, announcements, and anything else that the church wishes to communicate.

Subsplash has helped Zootown Church have an app to be proud of.

Pros

I've never made an app, but Subsplash has been so nice to work with. The quality of everything (interfaces, options, encoding) is top-notch.

Cons

Sometimes navigating menus and figuring out which link/list i'm using can be difficult. The fill-in notes is a nice feature, but I wish there was a way to track who uses that particular bit.

Just an excellent experience overall. They genuinely care about you as a client and help you address any issues you might have. The platform is easy to work with and quite flexible for our needs. Our students love to use the app and appreciate the modern feel of it. (Especially compared to other free or low-cost apps we've tried having before.)

Pros

Easy to use. Super clean and understandable user interface. Pretty good customer support response-wise. Actually very friendly and warm employees and support staff. An excellent experience working with them!

Cons

It IS pricey for many ministries. At least as far as Catholic churches or campus ministries go, they don't have as much money to spend on communication tools as larger protestant churches. But I still recommend Subsplash to all my colleagues nonetheless.

It was fine, often frustrating with the limitations, but it got the job done for our needs at the time.

Pros

I could publish what I needed to support a large church's online presence and provide church-goers with resources that they needed.

Cons

The back-end was rough. I was often limited in what I could do, or how I could do it. It's still fairly simple so you can get what you need out of it, but don't expect your app to feel 100% customized.

I like the platform, logging in is easy, it's user friendly and once you get the hang of it categorizing list and adding media to them get easy.

Pros

It's easy to categorize the content, user friendly since I'm not a Tech person. I use it to categorize the sermons, seminars and events to be well organized in our App and website.

Cons

I wish I could have tabs on the lists so when I add a new item (I add media items) I could just tag it and it would automatically apply the tag to the category, since now I have to do it manually.

Subsplash has allowed us to truly engage our campus outside of Sunday morning by giving them the resources they need to stay connected with our church

Pros

I like the ease of us for uploading, designing and configuring the app to be what I want it to be.

Cons

I would like the ability to do more customization in regards to the different versions of the app. For example it would be nice to be multiple options for the Web App and TV Apps. I feel like the options for those platforms are lacking creativity and I would like more options to customize the app overall.

Pros

The Subsplash mobile app platform makes it simple to quickly change the content and layout of the app. Most changes are done in realtime! I love the different layout options.

Cons

Most of the changes to our app happen on Sunday mornings. Some automation/scheduling or API features could be implemented to add and remove content as required.

Pros

The interface for adding video and audio files is straightforward and easy to use. They have consistently been adding new features as well which make video tagging, etc. more accessible to the user.

Cons

The video post-processing after a video upload can take a long time. This was especially true during the beginning of COVID when churches were switching to using more online video. The way videos are sorted is also a bit strange (It doesn’t seem to be by time.).

Overall, I think they do a good job! Don't have a whole lot to complain about.

Pros

Subsplash offers several different services, and we primarily use the app function. Subsplash basically runs and updates our church app. They do a good job at this, and are updating the app as needed. Overall, I don't think about them that much, so I'd say that means they do a good job.

Cons

I think the only thing that I see as a con is the pricing. I don't think it's super expensive, but I also don't think it's super cheap either.

Really fantastic tool to build your own full fledge church iphone/android application. Is the most powerful media management i've seen in the church market.

Pros

Media management, push notifications, video/audio upload, sermon note management, giving, geolocation, the whole package.

Cons

The move away from individually owned church apps is disappointing.
