Overall easy to use, easy to add leases and it is nice to be able to give clients access to the software as well, so they can add leases throughout the year. Pros The customer support has been great. The financial statement footnote support workpaper that it creates is nice as well. Great value for the amount of money per lease. Cons Impairments to leases is a little tricky to get all the information entered correctly but with some help from support was able to make it work. Also, the added feature of the journal entry by lease is great for reconciliation. Cons Seems costly but I could not imagine trying to administer 300+ leases without it. The software is not user friendly at all and would not produce the right amortization schedules. Despite calls with the representatives at LeaseCrunch, it could not do what was needed and left us with a huge mess to clean up at audit time. I ended up paying 4 times as much as the yearly LeaseCrunch fee to get the right schedules and countless hours to fix things to pass audit. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! 0 out of 10, would not recommend. Pros Nothing. It is not worth the time or money Cons Everything. Not user friendly and didn't pass audit. Reasons for choosing Crunchafi Lease Accounting There wasn't much out there at the time we implemented 4 years ago. Now there's free templates out there that will do a better job and are much more user friendly. The tool guides you through all the steps of taking the terms of your lease and getting them properly input and categorized. They also calculate the adjusting entry that you'll need to convert from your current process to ASC 842. When researching different solutions, LeaseCrunch stood out because the workflow was simple and easy to follow, the implementation time was much faster (one company said it could take up to six months to gather all our lease info), and they offer a Help document to assist on the technical side. They also have several accountants and CPAs on staff to answer questions and help with unique situations. Overall, very happy with the product. Cons None, we have been very happy with the software so far.
