Pros It has a straightforward design that allows even non-users to feel comfortable approving proofs. The customization for workflows and notifications if also great. Cons I do wish there was better options for workflow editing when a user is out of office. The customer service is exceptional, and the ease of the use of the tool exactly what we needed. Pros The ease of use of the product, the intuitive nature of the UI - just makes it easy to use and implement. It makes showing other people how to use or integrate into their workflows that much easier. Cons There aren't many. The ease of use and ability to add anyone to a proof has been a great feature for our organization. Previously, we were doing it all by email, which generated a lot of emails and got overwhelming. This software allows us to easily track the proofs and keep them in the same place. In addition, it allows the proofers to mark up directly on the proof; previously, most people were just responding to our emails by listing the changes in text form in the email instead of marking up pdfs. Having people click the "approve" button to approve the final artwork has also ensured greater accountability. In all, I would say that it has greatly improved our workflow. Pros The ability to proof many different types of documents in the same system is very useful – we have proofed pdfs, videos and websites so far. It is fairly easy to mark up the proofs (if anything, it gives a lot more options than you really need). Cons At first, we received complaints from the proofers that they were receiving far too many emails from the system, and we had to adjust settings. Also, the proofers are receiving so many proofs, they have expressed a desire for a page that allows them to see all their pending proofs instead of having to rely on emails. (They are not set up as users as we don't have enough user accounts. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to have a type of user account that is allowed to proof others' proofs but not to create proofs themselves – with a simpler interface.) Our team has collaborated well using it. Pros We use Ziflow for all our copy changes. It is so easy to send a screenshot up to Ziflow, then mock up the changes. The team members will then be able to see the changes and make comments/approve the changes. The process works great and we found our efficiency rate to improve as we got better at using the product. Cons There have been a few times the uploads did not go through properly, and we had to send the file over again. It was a small problem, and we were able to overcome it. Cons Uploading assets and creating new versions can be a little tedious. Pros The best feature is that you can see who opened a proof and when they commented. Also, the ability to have a conversation about the proof while looking at it online is valuable. It shows proofs easily whether video or digital proofs. Cons The proofs can be slow to upload. It would be nice to be able to customize the notifications a little better (more precisely). All the comments are easily tracked and traceable and usually in 3 brief rounds, the work is ready to go off and be produced. It has saved me days worth of tracking down departments to get their eyes on the work! Pros I like the ability to create a template and implement it across multiple projects. With other software, the ability to copy and paste work streams is not present, opening this functionality helps me as a PM save hours in setting up proper routes allowing me to focus on the work itself. What was once a daunting task, became a simple pick up to get the work in the right hands and get the projects done on time. Cons At times there can be glitches on the app, I wish the app would have notifications as to why something is glitching, rather than having to troubleshoot and discover the solution on my own. This is a great tool that gets everyone on the same page looking at the same version while at the same time offering transparency. Cons It would be nice to be able to control the thumbnail preview as if we send to clients, sometimes the automatically chosen thumbnail is not flattering. We do get feedback on this. Also, a brief cheat sheet on how to use it for invitees would be great which would encourage viewers to use the tools provided in the platform instead of sending e-mails. Reason for choosing Ziflow I called and interviewed a few companies. Ziflow AE told me that the founders of ProofHQ started ZiFlow and sold ProofHQ. I had good experiences with ProofHQ however didn't mind auditioning an "upgrade" since the same developers created both platforms. Review Source MC Mandi C. " March 20, 2020 5.0 Ziflow was easy to implement, quick for the team to learn, and has been a great way to collaborate across the country. The customer support team has been awesome anytime we had a question they were quick to answer and share documentation on how to do what we needed. Pros I love that you can send a proof to someone and they can access through their email without having to login. That has increased user adoption. You are also able to compare versions side by side even if the proof changed it total number of pages. Cons I wish you could export the entire proof, right now it only exports pages with comments. For example, in Ziflow, you can't add one customized email to the entire route. Instead, you have to at the very least copy/paste the same customized email to every stage of the route. You can setup template routes for use, but undoubtedly, there are some customization needed for every route you send, adding up over time. Pros Every feature I would have wanted is already included, very easy to keep track of artwork which is essential right now as our team is all working remotely! It is very easy to use and was very easy for other team members to pick up on, now we all love it and are considering using it even when we get back to the office! Cuts down on approvals by days! Cons Every feature I can think of or would want is already included! The only downside is that some features are only available on higher tier plans, such as mentioning a specific person in a comment, or making a comment as "to do" or "done". The comments tool in Adobe wasn't enough. Ziflow is great because I can keep track of the changes in a visual way, especially for clients. It is easy to use and learn. I highly recommend it. Cons One thing that I think it can use improvement is the way to display multiple proofs. You can see them from the side bar in the folder button but I wish this was a little more elaborated.
