President and Chief Design Officer Computer Software Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "File Transfers Don’t Fail When Internet Connection is Poor" January 15, 2026 5.0 We stopped sending DVDs to clients by mail since no one uses disc drives any longer and it also saves me from explaining to the sales team how to use ftp each week. And now they simply drag & drop the files and I can get back to doing real work. Pros It is doing a good job handling the large files without freezing (which is way more than I could ever say for our email server). The “Spaces” feature is fine for organizing once I finally get around to using it. It does upload pretty quickly on this awful Office wifi. Cons Honestly the price is too high for what it does and one major complaint I have is trying to find older documents I've already downloaded is an absolute nightmare. And also occasionally the interface freezes up and I'll need to refresh 2-3 times before I can see the file preview. I wish there were better tracking features in the express version so I would be able to tell if the client actually opened the video/file. Review Source AD Allegra D. As a designer that is an immensely valuable time saver! Pros It makes it incredibly easy to track and respond to comments on creative projects! As a longtime designer, juggling rounds of feedback and getting approvals/input (and then reinforcing it after deadlines pass) is always a huge headache. is the first platform I've used that actually manages this for you. Cons It can be a little bit hard to navigate the options for each draft - sometimes you need to edit/replace a PDF without creating a whole new version (even a minor one), and sometimes you need to carry some incomplete comments forward into the next round of feedback to continue the discussion. Pros It makes reviewing and sharing assets so much easier, quicker, more straightforward and provides helpful tools that you wouldn't be able to access if you didn't have such as the compare function. Cons When comparing the different versions of assets, it picks if the words have moved slightly on a page and this then can be confusing as it identifies it like the actual copy have changed when it actually hasen't. Pros User interface is really easy, quick and intuitive. Helps keep everything organized and easy to refer back through the various review rounds of a project. Cons Cannot print or save out all individually loaded files to have a comprehensive review or proof package. Would be much more efficienct and user-friendly to allow this functionality. It is easy to combine multiple files into one proof. Cons There are a lot of messages sent to email. I've used other collaboration and proofing tools while working for other companies but prefer Ziflow. It is comprehensive, yet easier to use. Pros is user friendly which makes it easy to use and collaborate with our design team on projects. The dashboard helps me organize and see the status of all the proofs I am assigned to review. I love the comparison tool to review/compare different versions of a proof, real-time commenting and mark up tools, and having all the comments and changes in one central place to streamline communication. Fewer emails means edits don't get lost. Cons I receive a lot (maybe too many?) of the daily review emails from but that is also my fault. Pros We tested a lot of other platforms and is the best by far. We were able to easily integrate it into our systems to track status along with other elements. They take the management out of the design process so you can concentrate on what you do best...Creating! Cons The only thing that I don't like is the notifications. I like knowing when things are being reviewed. I wish there was another option to let you know people are reviewing without having to be notified on all comments. Je dépose en moyenne 40 à 50 epreuves par jour dans l'outil. Mes clients sont ravis de la facilité de prise en main de l'outil. Pros La simplicité de l'outil, tant sur le coté utilisateur que sur le coté administrateur de compte. Il est tres facile de gérer l'administration de et donc de ne plus etre dépendant des Equipes IT pour l'administration. De plus, les automatisations sont tres simples et puissantes, notamment celles avec Monday. Cons Le seul soucis est que le téléchargement des epreuves est un peu long meme si celles ci ne pesent que 1 ou 2 Mo. Il manque cependant dans le chemin de fer, la possiblité d'avoir une validation par page ou un label permettant d'identifier les pages validées sur un catalogue. I used the testing folder extensively at first to get the hang of how we wanted to save our own workflow templates and add our own branding to the emails that are sent for our PDF proofs. Once I beta tested several PDF workflow scenarios for our business. After getting very comfortable, I presented it to our group to roll out for our PDF workflow. It is great for when others are on vacation that I can go in and proceed to the next proofing step or advance the project further. I also like that we can search to find jobs quickly. It has also been great for our internal departments to receive creative work that they can view, comment, approve, or request changes without it getting lost in a string of emails. This has increased our turn-around time. Pros Customer service response is so quick and they helped us by implementing some feature requests to better adapt to the way we proof things out to our clients. It organizes our PDF revisions so we don't have to wonder if everyone is looking at an incorrect version. I searched for quite some time looking at what other companies offered to find a good solution that included print color separations. I accidentally ran across and it quickly caught my attention because it had what I was looking for (finally!). Viewing color separations when opening a proof is great for our packaging clients, and is a feature we heavily rely upon. Having commenting/mark up tools and the ability to download PDF reports is a nice plus. I also like that their online help menu can pull up relevant answers and is kept up-to-date. But, the email support has been top notch, too. It is nice to have a project management dashboard to quickly see what has been opened, commented, or a decision made. Cons I think overall they do a wonderful job with an in depth live demo, in which they were asking about our workflows so we could focus on how would best work for us. But, I think before diving into training new Ziflow customers, it is important to slow down and go over the dashboard and side menu items before going directly into the Admin settings. They obviously knew their platform thoroughly, and were asking questions about our workflow and provided thoughtful answers to our questions. We had a demo from a competitor that was very disorganized and they tried to conduct it over a mobile device...after 10 minutes we ended the competitor's demo out of frustration. It is by far the best review tool I've used. Cons Sometimes, I wish I could customize the stages for secondary and third revisions, like skip people rather than delete the stage altogether.
