Our team loves it is easy to understand and our customers understand it more than our previous proofing process. The process of switching and setting it up was quick and easy. We feel it was a great switch and it was well worth the time to change over.

Pros

has made our daily work much better than how we handled it before. They are easy to use and intuitive; we even have fewer customers asking how to approve their proofs than before Ziflow.

Cons

I do wish the Integrations were not an enterprise-only feature. We have the Business package, which is the highest package available at the current time except for moving to an enterprise package.

Adobe Sign is not designed for proofing but it was what we started with. However as we have been growing Adobe Sign was becoming more expensive and not having what we needed to grow. So we decided to move to something more feature rich and we ended up saving money in the end.

### "Ziflow made our workflow better and faster"

Before we would send out proofs via email, WeTransfer or whatever felt the best. This was working fine on the surface, but the feedback was very diverse. Notes in a PDF is fine. But some clients printed the artwork, wrote the feedback on the paper, made a picture of that paper and sent it back to us.. Ziflow helps to streamline this process into one clear way of leaving feedback. The platform works really easy for the proofers what results into faster feedback! We also love the workflows, that automate stages. It's tricky the first time, but once you get the hang of it it's great! We use it as a check. I create some artwork and upload it into Ziflow. First my Project Manager gets to check it and if he approves the proof it automatically gets sent to the client.

Pros

The overall ease of is why I love it. We send proofs to diverse clients all over Europe and most of them open the proof and leave feedback without any hassle. It's awesome to see proofers use it correctly from the first time!

Cons

It's not as stable as we would like it to be. Usually around a big update the platform shows some minor errors. Nothing big, but it can be annoying.

It has been great. It really has helped us to be more efficient and organized as a team.

Pros

Being able to provide feedback to all the stakeholders on a project, and even show them visually with the editing tools what you would like to see has been a game changer for us.

Cons

I would say that at times working with video and webpages can be clunky, and I think if a few minor UX adjustments could remedy this ease of use issue.

resolved a lot of issues with clients but also in our team. Overall it's has been a great experience and we will definitely stick with Ziflow.

Pros

The features that are most impactful is that we're able to directly reply to certain feedback in the tool and we don't have to go back and forth with emails trying to explain feedback. We often have around 10-25 comments per image that we share which makes it a big mess if we would do it all via e-mail. Again it's just a good tool for communication.

Cons

For the client there is no platform with a clear overview of all the renders that they have ordered. You can see them when you click on the folder but still for the client it's not easy to find and they can not see that overview right away.

We started using for adding comments to documents at customer sites and also add notes from customers. Then we decided to start using for approval processes when creating quotes and estimates that we could quickly send out and get signed authorisation on projects that needed a quick turnaround.

Pros

The simple way you can share a file with multiple people without all the hassle involved in creating shares or permissions on a folder, sending emails back and forth etc. I like the way you can track who has commented on a form or document and where it is at in the approval process without having to go back and forth with management.

Cons

I need to be able to hand write notes after submission and so far this feature is not there but could appear in the future.

We can share documents, images, videos, and URLs with client, who can then comment on specific aspects of the asset that need adjustment and then either "approve with changes" or request another review. Team member can see the clients' comments directly, which fosters clear communication about the client's expectations across the agency.

Pros

makes it easy to track asset approval status across multiple clients. We can collaborate internally, upload and compare multiple versions, and create internal and client-facing comments. Workflows are simple to build and customize for each client, and we can save the workflows to use over and over.

Cons

would be awesome if it had these features: 1. Inline text editing (functionality similar to tracked changes in Word.) 2. A setting that allows specific internal users (who are not proof owners) to receive updates of comments and/or decision across all stages. One checkbox. Currently we need to add users to every stage of proof review to receive updates on comments and decisions at each stage. This causes users to get alerts on each new stage, even if they don't need to take an action during that stage.

Pros

I love . As a Production Artist, ZiFlow helps my colleagues review my work and provide feedback. They are able to do this easily with the many tools ZiFlow provides. They can comment and reply in proofs and even tag others who are apart of the the review process.ZiFlow has some neat tools that only lets who I want to review see my proofs. This helps me get my work to the right people quickly. I need to get quick approvals on a lot of my work and ZiFlow helps make this painless.

Cons

I wish would add to its user interface a bit more and help users navigate through the site better.

Pros

The commenting and approval process is so easy on our users. I can't imagine a better interface for them to use.

Cons

There are certainly some features that could be improved - notification customization (both in a review and just the automated ones) and more things offered at the lower price point. The folder system needs to be better understood as to how its users are using it to create optimization. I think that it would also be great to include more emphasis on reviewers selecting an approval part.

It save us a great amount of time. Allows us to avoid confusion when talking about graphics and visual elements. Client is super impressed.

Pros

The ability to show the client before and after. We create a proof with the original content and then add a version of the content after localization. The client than can see the magic of the process and evaluate the investment. Client can also resend the share link easily, send us feedback and we can work with the feedback all within one link. That saves a tremendous amount of time. Especially when we are spread around the globe or simply cannot meet around a same table.

Cons

I'd love to be able to create combine proof with videos. I understand this feature may be hard to implement.

Very good. I have seen improvements since I started using it and it has become a vital part of my job. I don't have to track down coworkers to resolve incongruent feedback. With they can resolve it on the same document.

Pros

It is very versatile. If you are an approver you can use multiple tools such as text selection or drawing to get your feedback across clearly. If you spend a little time customizing your settings there are some great things built in to help you save time and keep organized. If you have a group of people who often are needed for approvals or different groups that approve specific things, then you can set up approval groups and rather than add each individually you can add the whole group at once. If you need to track previous approvals you can set up folders to sort them in so later you can easily find whatever you need.

Cons

It could be more intuitive. I often need to remind someone on a proof, and it can be a bit of trial and error finding the right menu /page that has the type of reminder you need to send.

Works extremely well for packaging, especially when there's finite details/lots of wording. Or even looking over any design piece/work that is text-heavy and has a lot of graphics. Doesn't work as well when you are proofing different medias but it's all one project, they force you to separate them out. It has been a lifesaver for us and I wish other companies that I worked under in the past had this system implemented. If I worked at another company and they were going to and back changes through email, I would push for them to get onto .

Pros

Allowing people to comment specifically where and what and have a line drawn to it, separating stages and approvals, the easiness of uploading a new version of a proof

Cons

I would really like to see that you can upload different medias in a same combined proof, Especially .mp4 and static images

Overall, makes it efficient to capture comments and suggestions at every point in the review process. It has cut down the number of steps and eliminated confusion throughout the process. Very good for detail-oriented reviewers, as the interface allows clear communication and documentation.

Pros

Version control is amazing, I like how you can review previous proofs in comparison mode and also within the same window.

Cons

The lack of robust API integration with project management tools, such as Asana.

We're a midsize NYC photography studio, and we're so impressed with what a robust and user-friendly platform has created! We tested a number of different proofing/collaboration platforms beforehand, and Ziflow clearly takes the cake! Our workflow is so much smoother and more professional, thanks to all of the folks at Ziflow!

Pros

has thought out and executed everything so well...from the myriad of useful options they've provided, down to the look and feel of every aspect of the software. It's easy to use the many features, and though there are many options we don't currently utilize in our workflow, it's awesome that we have them available. Because we use Ziflow for proofing photos, we particularly love the overlay view for comparing versions. Most of all, though, we're grateful for the exemplary customer service Ziflow has provided. We're not huge in terms of our number of user accounts, but Ziflow has always made us feel like valued clients.

Cons

Honestly, we can't think of anything we don't like about . Having started fairly early with them, there were maybe a few bugs to quash, but the team is always immediately responsive to any glitches we point out. And what we are most impressed with is Ziflow's response to feature requests we sometimes submit in order to improve our workflow. They always bend over backwards to make sure we have the tools and procedures we need.

Pros

The interface is intuitive and easy to use. It is critical in providing clear feedback to different stakeholders involved in creating an asset (creative, account handler, project manager, producer, etc...) and in relaying the finished work to the client for final approval. It's also important that it keeps track of previous versions and iterations which allows for a smooth and transparent handover from one party to another while preserving the history of a proof.

Cons

In some instances, too many clicks are required to reach the desired proofs. Creating a new folder does not automatically appear unless the page is refreshed (more clicks). And when a proof is open, clicking on "back" puts the user back to the main dashboard instead of the folder the proof is located in, resulting in further more clicks to get back to the folder desired.

Overall it has helped us a great deal to keep track of what has or hasn't been reviewed yet, and keeps accountability on whoever is responsible for their markups or decisions. The transition was relatively painless, but the custom workflows and such take a little bit of digging to really understand what everything does.

Pros

filled a hole in our company. We use this for CAD drawing reviewal and approval and it does a great job of just that. The viewer is simple, making comments even on mobile is simple and effective. Setting up workflows helps keep the right people seeing the right information.

Cons

My biggest issue with the software currently is the lack of options on the mobile view vs the desktop view. The side bar cannot be opened in mobile view and this prevents you from downloading the pdf, sharing it, and all the features hidden behind that bar. Seeing as it's simply a mobile format of the website and not an app, this could easily be implemented by the developers. Another issue I have, that others may not have, is the overuse of the reference lines on a comment. If you add multiple arrows or markups to 1 comment, clicking on that comment has a line go to each and every instance placed in the markup. This is extremely messy. A "dimension" markup tool would be very handy as well. Similar to a dimension markup in Acrobat. This would greatly reduce reference lines on a comment as well if you drew this with the current tools.

Professional and really know their product and the market. They are constantly developing new features which they actively ask my team about and respond quickly.

Pros

I knew the developers of from their previous product. I tried several other products and found the customer service just didn't compare. This is a simple product that proofs all my work from scripts and storyboards, to films and animations.

Cons

I'd like a dark mode layout to match our other apps (in video we like it darker for practical reasons). I'd like it to integrate into MS Teams and a better mobile UX.

We are a publishing and marketing company, our publishing proofreading was mostly manually and emails. With the COVID pandemic, we were forced out of our physical space and we had no choice but to move from a completely manual process to be fully automated, as we are all working remotely from various regions throughout the Caribbean. brought us to the realization that proofing didn't need to be as difficult as it used to. The customer service from Ziflow is the best! They responded within minutes and solved our queries in a reasonable time.

Pros

The functionalities. We love the ability to have unlimited reviewers, comparing side by side, realtime comment/updates, web-based, very flexible, easy to use and ability to create workflows to manage our various publications.

Cons

I thought for long and I really cannot find the negative with . I find that it lags when uploading bulk files, maybe an internet speed issue from my end. All systems have a flaw but right now I have not experienced anything major with Ziflow's

Improving communication across teams/departments and streamlining proofing has been one of the bright points of the past year as our staff adjusted to remote working and the realities of the global pandemic. Because we serve patrons and donors, we had a variety of communications pieces we needed to distribute quickly in the face of current events/COVID, and helped us to accomplish this. The ability to stay connected to our patrons with quality, error-free, and timely collateral has proved vital to our continued success during these unprecedented times. We anticipate many ways that this platform will continue to help us to work efficiently and effectively as we return to a more traditional office setting.

Pros

Streamlining proofing, particularly during a time when many staff are working remotely, has been extremely helpful. Additionally, the ability to proof a variety of types of collateral including web, video, and email campaigns using one single platform.

Cons

We have been generally happy with this software and found it has been absorbed well into our team's overall workflow. Ultimately there was one feature that had originally attracted us to the platform that we were unable to implement (integrating with another project management software we use), and this was not entirely clear until after the training and on-boarding process was complete. While it is not a major detriment, it would have been nice to know this was the case earlier in the process.

We needed a tool that allowed all of our colleagues to collaborate and work together in a more efficient manner. This tool allows us to do all of that and more and has been a big hit with everyone.

Pros

The ease in which to collaborate with colleagues in reviewing projects. Any one can see the progress at any time which eliminates confusion as to where projects are during routing. Also, the ease of marking up and adding in comments, tags, and other references.

Cons

We rolled this out with many of the necessary features included which helped the team at launch. Tagging and notifying colleagues using the system was a bit of a challenge as that was new to us, but with training our team is well versed on it now and everyone follows the same process.
