With all of our team members, contractors and clients, there can be a lot of moving parts and trying to keep track of everything with email and multiple apps is a major challenge. Since we moved to Ziflow, we've been able to consolidate everything into one centralized location for feedback, edits, approvals and general decision making. Pros Ziflow reduced our reliance on email and various other apps and documents to receive edits and approvals from our clients (and on internal assets as well). Before we started using Ziflow, we were expending too many resources and lacked a consistent process. Cons Honestly, not much. Going from an email-based review/approval process to Ziflow has been magical. March 23, 2022 4.0 Overall, I have noting but good things to say, its been a positive experience and I would recommend its use moving forward. Pros It's very effective in the critiquing stage of design projects. I am able to include everybody on one brief and collate feedback from all departments in one place. Cons For larger groups providing feedback, sometimes we find the first person to provide feedback influences future feedback. " February 16, 2022 5.0 Pros I use Ziflow daily for online proofing between multiple stakeholders. Ziflow provides ease of sharing as well as commenting and marking proofs for edits. Managing multiple files is a breeze. Cons The only con that I have run into is the confusion on the client end, onboarding new individuals with how to use the software has come with a learning curve. Pros Out Ziflow platform is super straight forward and user-friendly. When we have new members of the team, it takes them just 10 minutes of playing around on the site to fully understand how to operate. With a team as large as ours, it's important that the site is easy to navigate and requires minimal support, and we get that perfectly with Ziflow. Cons There are times when the download features tend to be stalled. There's never any failed downloads, but sometimes the larger download packages can take up to 2 minutes. Review Source JM Jorg M. The software is quick but sometimes there's is a bug and i have to refresh the browser (Firefox). I think 5 times at the last few months. Continue with developing! Pros The easy to use software. In a few steps the PDF is sent to the customer. The email's are quick en clean. Cons The option to view the comments at page number as a general setting. It's frustrating to when I want to read the comments I have to set the comments to order on page instate of date. It's easy to remind them to open it if they haven't. Would recommend. Cons Sometimes it gets glitchy and the comments don't point to the correct spot. Cons The UI is challenging—it's difficult to navigate between files, and it can be difficult to find files. It's also difficult to review more than one file at a time (something that is often necessary when working on multiple formats of the same asset) I also found it difficult to turn location all of the various email notification settings since they weren't all in one place. I can multitask with relative ease while using this software. I often have multiple windows of the same project open using ZiFlow, and I can review various pages at the same time to check for accuracy and style consistency. It's a wonderful but simple software that I'm happy to use every day. Pros I like the very basic interface — the comment tool is straightforward and easy to find. The editing features themselves are simple and uncomplicated, which makes the reviewing process an effortless experience. Cons Sometimes I think the editing features are too simple — there are only so many times one can use a rectangle to highlight copy that needs to be changed. We’re not an agency and we’re not a single brand or product. As a distributor we design for multiple brands with very different missions, demands and stakeholders. Ziflow has proven to be an invaluable tool for staying on top of our complex workflow. Sure, it provides accountability and saves us time, but more importantly it’s an awesome platform for collaboration and creativity. Pros The centralization of feedback is a huge timesaver and provides great transparency and visibility for our team. Cons The very occasional downtime. But that does remind us of how valuable it is! Pros #1 is our unlimited number of proofs. Also, it is easy to access from a computer or a cell phone. We have used similar proofing software in the past and had problems with mail delivery and viewing. Most people view on their cell phones and want that functionality. For delivery, though these problems have not disappeared completely because of other's filter preferences, they are certainly less. Cons It's a very robust system and we don't use it for all its abilities so I wish there was a smaller less expensive package that would suit our needs a little better. Review Source TS Tom S. Pros Ziflow's features have helped streamline our business. As a marketing team, it allows us to review mock up's in one place, without the mess of lost emails or files. You can have a large team review and leave comments on a document pretty easily. The instructions are straight forward, and uploading as an administrator is easy too. Cons Honestly, I love Ziflow, it's pretty easy to use and straight forward. We have been burned too many times that after something has gone to print, someone finds something wrong and points fingers at Marketing. This allows us to have a complete on-line record of proofs, comments and decisions. Pros The ease of using Zilfow is what struck me as new user. Very intuitive user tools and interface. Our sales managers and client in the field find viewing proofs very easy and the mark up and commenting is super easy to understand. Cons The only thing that users miss is the ability to deduct that there are multiple pages in a proof. The back and forth arrows are easy to miss at the bottom of the interface. I did a lot of research on digital routing systems and came from my previous employer using ProofHQ. When they migrated with Workfront it offered a lot more than what I needed. Pros I enjoy the ease of use and ability to customize the interface/functionality to what fits us best. My contact at Ziflow (representative) was extremely helpful during set up and also continues to follow up with me monthly to see how things are going. Cons Occasionally I receive an error page when I refresh and then I have to close my tab and open a new one. My team has also mentioned a similar issue but could be from our own connection. Reason for choosing Ziflow I don't remember the exact one's that I tested (at least 4) but I wanted something that was easy to use and similar to ProofHQ because that's what my team was accustom to. Pros Ziflow is easy to use and makes collaborating with internal colleagues and external clients as simple as possible. Feels very much like everything has been thought of and the functionality meets all our needs. Using Ziflow helps my customers get direct links to their proofs without downloading large PDF files. It also secures the proofs so that the customer doesnt download the PDF and use it without my permission. I used PROOFHQ in the past for many years, but they discontinued the product. Im glad Ziflow has very similar functionality. Pros Ease of use, proof download locking, JPEG previews in proofs are clean and very legible Cons Need integration into Basecamp 3 now. We use this product daily and push through hundreds of proofs each year. Our customers enjoy the experience too and so we've gained an element of competitive advantage over competitors who still rely on outdated methods of proofing. Cons It is on the pricey side but whenever we review this spend our leadership team are unanimous in the need to keep Ziflow. It needs som work but I feel its headed in the right direction. Pros I like the online tracking (paper trail) of our proofs. It gives us a paper trial other than email. Cons I feel that Ziflow could benefit from a complete UI/UX redesign/overhaul. It is not very user friendly. A lot of our clients complain about it. They miss understand how to approve a project.
