As said above, we haven't taken full advantage of it...and this has been expensive for us. But we can't really afford to change to another platform at this point.

Pros

I like the idea of Monograph, but so far we haven't been able to take full advantage of it. So it's a very expensive timesheet app. I don't know why it's been so hard for us to take off on it.

Cons

Really need a phone app. I would like more customization options. Colours, graphics, etc. Especially to differentiate projects. I often don't get around to plugging my numbers in...an app to do this would be really helpful.

It's been a great experience so far with extremely responsive, friendly and supportive staff

Pros

Ease of use Amazing customer service and support

Cons

Invoices are not "Australia friendly" (i.e. cannot add a GST compnonent)

We can keep more accurate time, we can more easily see projections for billings, and we can more easily balance work load.

Pros

I like the scheduling feature the best so I can see how workload is being divided in the office and what our capacity is.

Cons

Not sure - still getting to know it and nothing really bugs me yet. I do not like when you have to change team members on a project that you have to change each phase...

### "Growing with a new Product"

We have been growing with monograph over the past year. We selected the software for the potential and promise it has and realize that it is developing and growing along with our own young firm. The Monograph team is responsive and personal. The time change does cause some frustration when we a looking for solutions and need to wait hours before questions are even reviewed.

Pros

The program is easy to use and is not complicated to look at. It is great for information at a glance.

Cons

There are bugs that pop up from time to time on specific projects needing help from the Monograph team to work out. I wish there was better toggle features to allow you to switch projects or team members instead of exiting the specific screen to a general one to pick a new project or team member. I look forward to more reporting options, better features with the planner, and hopefully additional project projection info so that when planning staff and project pipelines, that we can show information to make better decisions while it not being permanent.

Pros

Monograph is the easiest software I've used to track time in the design field. I've worked in companies that use spreadsheets, clunky programs, and even in firms that tried to create their own timekeeping software. This is simple, intuitive, and easy to use. I would highly recommend it!

Cons

I wish that the software did a better job of totaling the amount of different non-billable (admin) hours so that you could easily see the amount of billable to non-billable work for the week.

Great CS, great product, game changer!

Pros

The ability to get visual reports on income projections and customize the reports based on firm leadership needs is tremendous! A one stop shop for invoicing and project management and time tracking that incentivizes users to work quickly and efficiently. This helps bring down the veil around architectural fee and help admins see the importance of budget awareness. Bravo!

Cons

Would be nice if invoicing were more integrated (didn't have to download / send in email) and if the GANT charts (Projects Panel) could be dragged as opposed to changing date fields manually. Otherwise great!

First time using this with this company and it is so much easier to keep track of my time and hours. Far better than any time tracking software used in the past.

Pros

Being able to track projects I am on and seeing how much time I have consumed is an amazing feature. Like being able to see the time data broke down between all projects and just having more insight on every projects time management.

Cons

Notifications can be a little better for helping getting important messages across.

The Monograph team is very supportive and transparent. We haven't been using it that long, but find it very easy to navigate and love the visual impact and features.

Pros

After researching many project management software tools, we decided to switch to Monograph.io because of the money gantt, user friendly interface, and extensive features.

Cons

The 10-day trial period could be a bit longer, as you don't always have the time up-front to delve into everything, and the only way you can subscribe is during the trial period. The decision to switch from a program you are using takes time and feedback from everyone on the team. This doesn't always happen when you are comparing other options and are trying to get daily work done as well. Doesn't integrate (yet) with Quickbooks Desktop.

Reason for choosing Monograph

See above- feel the price is well worth the features and love that is was designed specifically for the architecture industry. Other project management projects were geared more towards marketing services, which we could have made work, but why when Monograph was about the same price?

### "Very Good Interface / Needs Minor Tweaks"

My overall experience has been very positive.

Pros

This software is very easy to use and requires little to no learning curve if you are already familiar with basic computer use. I like the way that the pages are setup, very intuitive and functional. They are also pretty aesthetically pleasing as well, so that's a huge bonus in my book. As well, the software was fairly easy to integrate in to my existing work routine due to it's ease of use.

Cons

Since I am a user, and not someone who creates tasks, it is sometimes difficult for me to organize my own workflow. I would like the option to add projects or at least to propose additions for review and then perhaps my supervisor can chose to accept or decline them. As well, there is no easy way to track reimbursables per project. For example, gas and mileage per project. Lastly, the export of timesheets isn't very well formatted. Each export is an Excel spreadsheet, which is good, but then you have to go through and manually arrange columns/rows to make it legible. These are all, in my opinion, minor issues that aren't detrimental to my use of Monograph. However, it would be great to have an even more streamlined platform.

Only a few months in and Monograph has become essential to the way we practice. It's a platform that you love because it does what it does well and lets you get back to doing what you do. In the design environment it feels great to have a project management tool that doesn't infringe on your work-vibes. Excited to see how it evolves and grows.

Pros

Within minutes we had customized all of the inputs around our operational needs and had a handful of projects up and running in no time. The clean graphic interface and underlying project management logics of Monograph made the experience smooth and the overall process was painless. The dev team was right there to answer any questions we had and listened to our quirky requests for future features.

Cons

No complaints that hindered Monograph's usability for what we need. In the future, we wish there were some non-traditional project cost management tools and that there were tools to set and track goals.

The targeting of the architecture market in terms of project management software, a lot of other task tracking and scheduling softwares are not as specific. Pay and go product. Good insight into its development. Looking forward to it deveolping.

Cons

UX could possibly do with a facelift, some slightly hidden features, would like if the project templates could include set task lists for each stage.

Our firm is able to track hours, client fees, project schedules, and much more with this resource much more accurately than we used it. It has saved us time!

Pros

Timesheets and Resource Planner are what I use most frequently. It helps keep the team organized throughout the week and helps us track fees and timeline much better than we used to.

Cons

There are still resources I have yet to learn about so the parts about Monograph that I do not use feel a little overwhelming.

Because the customization for other programs to fit to what an architect needs is cumbersome. I needed something that understands my industry and how we work.

Cons

Overall I have had a great experience with Monograph. The support team is fantastic and the owners are available for conference calls to help troubleshoot things, learn about what our needs are, and introduce new features. It is great to be able to get facetime with a real person to help solve issues. The software has helped our firm be more organized and more profitable.

Pros

The best thing about Monograph is that the software interface was designed to be beautiful and intuitive. It is easy to use, graphically presents information clearly, and helps our company better understand where we spend our time and what projects are profitable or not. The other great thing about Mongoraph is that the customer service is fantastic and they are quick to add new features, fix bugs, and even adopt changes based on our feedback. This is really refreshing compared to most other software.

Cons

There are a few features that could still make this more useful. However, the software is still being developed and new features are added frequently. I think it is only a matter of time until this provides everything a small architecture firm would need. I wish there was a mobile app to track time, and maybe even a feaure like everlance, that can automatically track travel and convert that into expenses.
