Pros It is very intuitive and easy to use and deploy. Has a very good overview of of the projects and makes tracking progress and profitability easy. Cons Wish there were more reports available from the information that we put in. Also can be a little slow at times but the company is working on these things and is in constant contact with us on how they can improve. They are great!!! I am a happy customer. Pros The information for timesheet tracking is easy to use and visually engaging. Tracking time and tasks per project in a line item manner is incredibly beneficial for clarity of information and analysis. Cons My only minor critique would be to provide the option to show all comments in fields as a button that may be turned on or off. Copy pasting notes and comments between dates/tasks is troublesome and time consuming, albeit not a critical problem. They have wonderful customer service and great resources for architects. We are still learning the benefits of the software, but the experience this far has been great. Pros Monograph ties together the big three: deliverable, time and fee. It helps our firm track our resources against timelines as we grow. Cons The software needs constant updating because schedules never hold to the original projection, and if you are off schedule in the software, then all other features are not accurate. Pros We like that the time tracking easily is implemented into the over cost of the project and schedule tracking. Cons I wish it would integrate with Quickbooks and even Asana. We still use Asana for task management. I would love one software that does it all. I appreciate the web design and different features that the program has. Cons I mostly use time tracking in Monograph. It help us keep track of time spent per project. My only dislike is that It can get pretty big with all the projects I have going on and I would like to not scroll down the list so much. Rep and his team are so helpful and we enjoy being a part of their growth. This is already a great resource for more agile firms who find Monograph's competitors too clunky for their businesses--and new features are being integrated regularly. The Monograph team is very responsive to feedback and new ideas. The open dialogue between our team and the Monograph team has been invaluable. Pros The Monograph team has been wonderful to work with. They are responsive to questions and welcome to recommendations for new features. The current features are already improving our workflow and the Monograph team's scheduled feature adds will only continue to better our company. Architectural designer Architecture & Planning Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Innovative and made by architects for architects" April 15, 2021 5.0 It has a lot of potential but it competes in the market with free tools that do some of the same things. Pros I discovered this software at an AIA conference and brought my conversations about it back home to my office. It was so cool to me how it was organized, with different ways of organizing your work and projecting time planned in different ways. It’s a pretty robust planning tool. The fact that it allows you to track dollars, as well as manage weekly work planning and requests , is pretty cool too. It was definitely an attractive tool that I took back to my company and requested we try it out. Cons I tried to test out this tool, but I was unable to fully test it without getting a team into it. I could not get a full project team to use it because they wanted to have someone test it out first. The cost ended up being overruled. People would rather use a free tool that does less things, I think because most people don’t want to take the time or spend resources to plan effectively. Pros This finally allows a project-overview look across all active projects in the firm. Other software only focuses on specific projects but Monograph lets you assess everything that's going on in a small-medium firm. Cons There are a few features still in development like better forecasting of individual employees' time, but the team has been responsive about those updates and communicates them well. Right now I have several different excel worksheets for different stuff that is hard to bring together into a coherent comprehensive view of the business. Cons It is cumbersome to get started. Right now I am chewing through loading all the current projects into it. I presume once you are up and running this effort will be fairly easy to manage. March 31, 2020 5.0 Monograph solves several problems that a small firm like ours were experiencing as we were growing. Individual time sheets, Project hours tracking, Project fees & budgeting, and Project timelines are all key aspects in one place! I was expecting to be using at least 2 or more programs to accomplish all these tasks. Pros Searching for time sheet programs is what lead me to finding Monograph. As a small firm of 4, we were getting to the point where we needed a program that would allow us to be more efficient with our time but also cost effective to maintain a lower overhead. Monograph does just that! I would spend my time combining individual excel time sheets into one to keep track of hours per project. What a waste of time! Monograph does all this so quickly and clearly! Cons I don't like that to hide the project fees from employees that I have to deny them access to everything but time sheets. I have to create every new project that they work on. It would be nice to separate project fees from employees who should not be involved in that aspect. It is also easy to discuss project management needs across projects with various managers. Cons I wish the time clock that fills up was more transparent (maybe show how much over); I also wish the total hours across activities for one project was tallied at the far right as the week goes on. Overall, I'm very pleased with it over previous softwares I've used.
