I tried to reformat my manuscript with their service. Simple job? Huh, AI managed to lose the figures and forget to delete the unnecessary dashes when words are no longer broken at the end of the line. I reformatted myself from the original version because it was easier than correcting all their bugs. Then I tried to cancel their service, but they couldn't find my account, but they didn't forget to charge $96. I have disputed the charges. I don't want to use this scam

Pros

No pros. I don't see anything that their AI does better than I do it myself. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to delegate editing or searching for references to AI.

Cons

AI doesn't work, totally useless. They did a terrible job. They charged me $96 for a subscription, and then I tried to cancel because they did a bad job, and there is no use for them. The AI said they can't find my account, the same account I was talking to them from. It is a scam!

There were cases when references were not reliable or I could no find them elsewhere as if they did not exist. But it was not really common

Pros

Extraer datos desde artículos de investigación que se le suben en formato PDF es una aplicación muy útil de la plataforma en mis objetivos de investigación. Además puedo configurar que opciones de análisis especificas me interesan más: resumen, análisis de resultados, metodologías, etc

Cons

Ofrece pocas fuentes de literatura de Latinoamérica en comparación con otras zonas geográficas. Y además no ofrece exportación de BibTex para la citación

I only used the free version a handful of times. I am not willing to invest the money to see if the paid version is better. I would like to also note that considering I only accessed the site a few times, one of those times it did not seem to be working at all.

Pros

It is cool that Scispace finds trustworthy articles on a topic and summarizes them for you. I also liked the table it produced that listed the insights, conclusions, and methods used for each article.

Cons

SciSpace seems to be a very robust tool but the free version is much too limited for it to be applied in the educational setting. I asked it to write opposing arguments and it used up all of my AI credits for the month. By the time my credits renew I won't remember what I already explored. I also noticed there is a cheap plan and then a premium plan for $90 a month. Yikes.
