I enjoy the ease of use, the notification customizations when adding or canceling cases, and the colored bullet points when information has been uploaded during the scheduling process.

Pros

I love the status board and the way you can customize the information for the department that is using it.

Cons

I wish that the status board would communicate with the echart version of HST as the patient moves through their surgical experience.

I like the convenience of being able to look up patients and get information quickly.

We have technical glitches quite often and there is never a timeline given as to when they will be fixed.

I believe my pro's section is suffice for this section as well.

Pros

HST Pathways is coinvent and user friendly. Being the main center and adding new facilities and users into the system has been super easy, with how user friendly the system is I can teach other offices how to use it over the phone. The customer service when there are issues is good as well, everyone I have spoken with in the last year have been amazing. Shout out \[sensitive content hidden\] she has been nothing but accommodating to me and my center!

Cons

The only issue I ever has is when a fix for something takes too long, like the printing issue took entire 7 days to fix, there was a work around, but that way was just as slow as printing individual documents. (Case Coordination)

I have been using this software for 4 years & it has been a great tool in getting estimates out to the patients and when patients have questions It is a great way to breakdown the charges for the patients in a way they can understand

Pros

Easy to read & understand all the codes prices and patient responsibilities

Cons

There should be a better way to search for patients through name, phone number, address

The overall experience has been acceptable; updates seem to cause bugs, but they are usually fixed within a reasonable timeframe.

Pros

It is mostly customizable, such as excluding particular providers or patient groups from certain messages, and filtering notifications for employees based on job description.

Cons

There is no way to have a separate survey for children, and many of the questions do not apply. This is frustrating for the parents attempting to fill out the questionnaire.

I use it constantly as a surgery coordinator, I enjoy the simplicity and teaching others to use it. I find it very simple to schedule and accept cases because it is almost fool proof, especially it not allowing certain things before clicking finish. I love how easy it is to add case tags, and how customizable the surgery templates are.

Pros

The fact that there is so much integrated with it when its used, I love that we can adjust things easily along with the fact we can view cases quickly and effectively.

Cons

That you can't format the print, send simple messages to patient's without it being a test

From the implementing phase to any support help we need now they do an excellent job with follow up. HST is very easy to use. I like the features that ensures you are completing everything so nothing is missed!

Pros

\-Easy and straightforward set up -Easy to customize to your ASC -Case Coordination and working with the clinics on scheduling makes it so much easier!

Cons

\-Wish Simple Admit was more user friendly and flowed into the charting system to save time with the pre-op process.

Overall I like HST Pathways, there are just lots of minor bugs I would love to see fixed. We would like to get more offices to get onto HST Pathways but it is hard to convince other offices when there are constant glitches and bugs.

Pros

I like the ease and accessibility of scheduling cases. We can schedule cases as far out as we would like and it maintains organization.

Cons

HST Pathways can be glitchy at times. Sometimes we will schedule a case but it doesn't get added to the schedule. It will just disappear. When downloading links it no longer works when sent to an email address either.

My overall experience has been pleasant. Besides the one issue with the cases not being able to be found Hst Pathways has been a great asset to scheduling.

Pros

How easy it is to communicate with Doctor's offices and how easy it is to add and cancel cases. A much faster alternative.

Cons

I do not like that the cases I add manually via HST Practice Management are not viewable on the HST pathways portal, this has been an issue with the Doctor's offices trying to find patients who were scheduled with a booking slip.

Overall our center has has a good experience with HST. They are always helpful and knowledgeable when we call with any questions.

Pros

It's very user friendly and anytime that I call the support line they are always helpful and efficient.

Cons

For a while there was an issue where cases were being duplicated but it has then been troubleshooted and haven't had this issue recently.

How easy it is to navigate and that its very user friendly.

Cons

Only downfall I have is when uploading certain documents, I can't free type a document label. I have to pick from a pre-populated drop down and sometimes what I am uploading doesn't pertain to anything on that dropdown.

Overall, it's been good. Just like any long-term relationship we have had our ups and downs.

Pros

The ability to run a variety of reports.

Cons

One thing for HST PATHWAYS specifically, we don't like how blocks don't release until sometime overnight around 1 am. We wish the blocks would disappear as soon as we release them. Also, we wish it had more of a modern lay out similar to Case Coordination.

Negative, the response time with issues is poor. Even when the issues are a safety risk.

Pros

I like when the program is working correctly.

Cons

The program itself has a lot of functional issues. When you try and get help. Response time is poor and communication on issues is poor. We have had issues with this program continuously. Was told by staff its out internet or computer. Got better internet and new computers and still having the same issues. So frustrated with this whole program. It adds so much extra work and wasted time in my day.

Pathways was easy to integrate into our workflow once we had a hold on eChart and Practice Management. As stated before, if the three products were more fluid, Pathways would be significantly more useful for our team.

Pros

Pathways is a great product for patient communication. We like the text reminders for patients and the ability to push out a pre-op assessment survey. This cuts down on charting time for our nurses who can then engage more with patients.

Cons

We would like to see Pathways connect with eChart and Practice Management more cohesively. For example, the patient status changes with rooming in in eChart do not flow over to Pathways. This causes the nurses to have to do some double charting.

Great when it is functional, however it is incredibly frustrating most day because of chronic issues that severely affect the functions of my job.

Pros

It has lots of potential and it could be a fabulous product to aid in efficiency if the company could just fix basic issues.

Cons

There are lots of kinks. When an error does occur, it takes way too long for issues to be resolved. Updates regarding tickets are minimal. Issues are constantly being "escalated" but nothing comes of it.
