Pros Jersey Watch is easy to use but flexible enough for those who wish to use some coding. The support is exceptional! While trying to figure out what we wanted, the Jersey Watch team was quick to assist me with any questions I had. Since we have been using Jersey Watch, there have been some great features the company has rolled out. I am excited to see what else they add. Cons I wish they had team standings option but I was able to do a workaround and embed a spreadsheet. It would be nice to have the option to select two teams connected to one event so that I am not have to create the event 2 times and assing to each h team schedule. I started using it in 2020 when our wrestling booster club needed structure, organization, and a better online presence, and it became an important part of how we managed the program. What I appreciated most was that Jersey Watch never seemed like a company that simply built a product and stopped listening. When something didn’t quite fit our needs, they were interested in understanding why. Over the years, I watched them take feedback from organizations like ours and continue improving the platform. Now that I’m stepping away from my booster club role, I can honestly say that if I ever find myself running another team or booster organization, Jersey Watch would be one of the first platforms I would recommend. I’ve already recommended it to several other programs over the years. It has come a long way since 2020, and it has been really nice to watch that evolution firsthand. Pros I started using Jersey Watch back in 2020 when I joined a wrestling booster club that really needed more structure. At the time, Jersey Watch was a fairly simple solution, which honestly made it feel approachable. It was very much a “tell us what you’re trying to accomplish and we’ll help you build it” experience. What impressed me most over the years was how responsive they were to feedback. Wrestling had some needs that didn’t always fit neatly into the platform at first, so I asked a lot of questions and made plenty of suggestions. They listened, learned why certain features would be useful, and continued developing solutions. Customer service has always been excellent, whether I reached out by email, chat, or used the training videos and resources they created. I especially appreciated the improvements to registration, the ability to download raw registration data, team photo albums, document storage, and having one organized place for coach and booster club contact information. Those are things that simply don’t belong buried on Facebook, which is still what many youth sports organizations rely on. I’ve recommended Jersey Watch to several other teams over the years and have genuinely enjoyed watching the platform evolve. Cons As dedicated team communication apps became more popular, such as TeamReach, I personally found the email/text communication features within the website less useful than they once were. However, the registration, website, document storage, contact information, and other organizational tools provided more than enough value for us to continue using Jersey Watch. One feature I would love to see, if it hasn’t already been added, is more built-in analysis of registration data. Being able to quickly filter, summarize, chart, or graph registration information directly within the platform would be incredibly helpful. I’m comfortable exporting the raw data and doing that work in Excel, but many booster club volunteers are not particularly tech-savvy. A few simple dashboard or data-slicing tools could be a huge benefit to them. Every customer support person we interacted with via email, phone, or video calls has been incredibly knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and professional. We just opened our registration and it's been flawless. We're a small youth organization run by parent volunteers. With Jersey Watch's help we can now focus on running the organization and the website handle a lot of the administrative processing automatically. Payments go straight into our organizational account, no more running checks to the Bank. Other parents praised the registration process and some even did it via mobile using Apple Pay. Incredible results so far. The best part of the site will be turning it over to the next generation of parent volunteers. We know that Jersey Watch will be there to help with any website questions. Pros The overall customer support experience is incredible. From the initial inquiry emails, questions regarding setting up the new site, speed of the responses, all the way through the building of the automated registrations and payments was incredible. They made the whole process seems so easy. The only regret is not finding and using this site earlier. Cons We really haven't found anything that we don't like. Our original site was dated. They took our old site and revamped it into a modern site. It's easy to manage with very little technical expertise. It's been a mostly positive review, and I know that this website has so much potential and I'm looking forward to seeing whatever they add next but so far it's been pleasant and it's been awesome. Pros I like the most was the layout design of the website it's very sleek and modern. Customer service has been exceptional and pretty good turnaround time. I really liked the announcements feature and I love that announcements get sent to the members inbox and not spam. I like how it shows how many visitors visit my website. I like the payment plan option that's very helpful. I like the donation option. Cons I would say I wish there was a monthly payment option for the pro plan or if jersey watch added another plan in between plus and pro, something more affordable. Wish that they would add a business domain e-mail in one of their plans. To be able to add gifs to our announcements would be pretty cool. To be able to add a section to purchase merch or equipment would be a neat addition. Perhaps a feature to where you could sub-categorize your contact lists would help with organization. More creative ways to customize announcements, such as different templates. And A feature where it shows you if/when the user clicked the links in your announcement. It gave me just what I was looking for - the ability to easily share information to all families with the fewest tech barriers. Cons Something happened at some point where my phone, which I primarily use, started to not trust the links. It kept sending me to an error page and I could only use the site on a computer browser. On top of saving money, their platform is much, much more user friendly both for admins and end-users. Cons The lowest tier does not have a large enough allowance of emails / sms messages. 500 messages per month goes pretty quickly. We reached out to customer support and they were very helpful providing multiple options to address our concerns and meet our needs. Pros Support is super. Highly responsive and detailed. That alone is a great reason to use the product. It's so nice not to have to wait weeks for an answer as was the case with a previous product I used. Cons We would like to post schedules and results for our baseball league and not all the parameters we use are available, such as tie-breakers. We use Excel to perform the functions we need and upload the file as a pdf for now. Reason for choosing Jersey Watch I reviewed it and was able to test it before purchase. You can also design the look and feel of the Home Page. Also, a friend of mine was using Jersey Watch and I was able to review the product via his website. Ease of use. Navigating and updating the website, registration and calendar are super easy. 3. graphics. We had a super professional website set up in less than a day 4. Did I mention customer support?! 5. Jersey Watch will work with you to try and make an uncommon request work. Cons Email and text communications are limited to a specific number/month depending on the package purchased. Would prefer unlimited as we have several user groups. It would be cool if it was targeted specifically to a particular sport (ie- wrestling), because I often times have to change things due to the sport lingo (example, wrestlers name other then "players name". Other then that, i really like what you have going. Pros It is easy to use. Parents can register for events, i can communicate with parents and the easy download to excel is a HUGE help. One idea that could differentiate you from your from other would be the ability to set either grade based registrations or date based ones. For example Football and Baseball typically have age based divisions where Lacrosse/ Baseball typically have grade based division. Being able to set up registration in either configuration would be fantastic. Also having reporting that could be customized and run across multiple divisions would be nice. I was also on the board of our football league and I don't think from a reporting or registration I could utilize this product.
