Their system is straight forward, their staff are always friendly and helpful, and they have all the basics that a business needs. I am now looking for more specific things than they off. They sent me an email upon cancelling to confirm with me and they were so kind and wished me nothing but positivity on my journey with my business. Pros I am honestly so sad to leave Jersey Watch. Everyone was always so helpful and kind. They responded fast when I need help, and so much more. Their system is very user friendly and easy to understand. Information is straight forward and easy to understand. They offer everything you would need for the basics. I unfortunately just outgrew their system, as I needed more than they could currently offer. Thank you for your time and commitment to helping me jumpstart this new journey for my club. Cons They did not have athlete/parent account options so you couldn't send invoices and had to have each parent register for every different thing you needed to collect payments for. This would not be an issue normally, but I just wanted to try a different system to see if I liked this better based on what they offer for how much my club grew this year. I do wish I was able to use more creativity in the process of the website designing process. They did not give me any options in personalizing my website. On top of saving money, their platform is much, much more user friendly both for admins and end-users. Cons The lowest tier does not have a large enough allowance of emails / sms messages. 500 messages per month goes pretty quickly. We reached out to customer support and they were very helpful providing multiple options to address our concerns and meet our needs. Pros Support is super. Highly responsive and detailed. That alone is a great reason to use the product. It's so nice not to have to wait weeks for an answer as was the case with a previous product I used. Cons We would like to post schedules and results for our baseball league and not all the parameters we use are available, such as tie-breakers. We use Excel to perform the functions we need and upload the file as a pdf for now. Reason for choosing Jersey Watch I reviewed it and was able to test it before purchase. You can also design the look and feel of the Home Page. Also, a friend of mine was using and I was able to review the product via his website. Has helped us straemline processes and gain good control of the business side of managing our leagues and tournaments. Pros Ease of use, professional looking website, online payments and ability to download data for use with Excel reporting. We have used JW for 5 years and really like the continuous improvements we have seen since we initially began to use it. Cons We have unique reporting needs that require JW data dumps. These are now fully automated to the extent possible and we realize there is no perfect solution for our own desire to see the information in the way we like it. In general, we don't have any serious concerns about the software. Reason for choosing Jersey Watch Better functionality for similar pricing. Does not require the rather extensive computer/web experience/skills the other product required. We have continued to evaluate other products from time to time, but JW seems to always come out on top at this price point from a features and ease of use perspective. On top of that, the support team is Top Notch. I cannot say enough about how thrilled our wrestling club is with the Jersey Watch platform. A+ Pros The platform has excellent functionality that is very easy to use and administer, even for non-technical folks. The mass communication/announcement feature is extremely helpful and easy to use. Parents love this too. Also, the fact that the platform can be viewed equally well from a desktop or mobile makes it useable for everyone - the entire audience can be reached. Cons Sometimes when adding contacts, the autosave function creates duplicate contacts. However, there is no negative impact when this happens. It's just a nit. Pros Website was designed by the team saving me a lot of time and stress. They designed an awesome website that is easy for me to update and tweak to my specific needs. It's also extremely easy to navigate for the players and parents. The Tech Support staff is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that my questions (lots of them) are answered, provide suggestions, and assist me whenever the need arises. Cons At present there is not a means to "cap" program registration at a specific number of participants. Right now you can only set a program registration deadline. It would be nice to be able to establish a max number of participants so you don't have to constantly check the status of registration to avoid overbooking of Camps and Clinics. I spoke to about this, and they are planning to roll out something of this nature in 2020. Reason for choosing Jersey Watch I chose over the competition for three reasons: 1) The friendliness, expertise, and support of their staff, 2) The ease in navigation and editing of the website, and 3) The monthly cost associated with the product.
