Totally recommended for teams that don’t want to lose focus over their core logic. The time and effort it would take to build a proper license management component in our applications close to this platform would bleed the project the resources which should be allocated for the core logic. Pros Great value and support. The business is very customer oriented. They listen and act according to sousing arguments and the platform kept improving over time with more features and integrations. Cons Still lack of native integration with Rust. There isn’t much to dislike about the platform in general from a developer perspective. A user friendly user interface and no downtime in 6 years has made this a stress free way to authenticate our products. Pros We have been using LicenseSpring in our products for over 5 years. The best thing is the steady addition of new features and API extensions that make it easy for us to handle complex license needs. Cons Nothing as of yet. Any issues we encountered were answered by support or personally by Edmon, one of the co-founders. Pros \+ Uncomplicated integration (SDKs,..) + Flexible for modern licensing requirements + Great support + Some feature requests of ours made it into the product Cons \- some limitations to offline floating servers (limiting number of end-user devices that can offline-activate and share a floating license) Switched from [CodeMeter](https://www.capterra.com/p/139011/CodeMeter/) We still kept CodeMeter for fully on-prem customers and those who had it before, it's also working well. But we needed LicenseSpring for lightweight installations without admin rights, more easily managed licenses also after deployment at customers. We opted for floating cloud licences and have never regretted it. The systems are 100% reliable. Pros Reliable, large portfolio, direct support and good documentation. Cons There are currently still a few specific requests for the statistical analysis that can be improved, but LicenseSpring is already working on this topic. We chose LicenseSpring for a number of reasons, it met our requirements, was easy to integrate using their .NET/C# API, wasn't very expensive at the tier we needed and offered a good compromise between security and ease of use. Support was very good from the outset and remains very good. We have never needed support for end-user use. LicenseSpring have responded positively to new feature requests in the portal and SDK queries. It was important for us that LicenseSpring offered options to update users licenses in the field from the portal and this works well in practice. Pros The licensing product does everything we need. Is easy to use and so far extremely reliable. It offers some security at an affordable price and doesn't intrude on the user's experience of our product. Cons The portal is, in the main, adequate, it can take one or two more clicks to find the information you want sometimes but we haven't found much to complain about. And if we've needed a bit of extra functionality we've used the API to provide it or LicenseSpring have added it quickly. Reasons for choosing LicenseSpring We evaluated the features first, product reviews and customer experiences (on the internet) and after that the quality of support and then price. Has never had any downtime. Pros Ease of use Lots of functional code examples in different programming languages for integration. Integration with Stripe and subscriptions. Cons Specifically, for one-time purchases in Stripe, one must create an Invoice first, which needs to be paid in order to generate the license.
