Pros Ease of use for the staff as they can use of phone. Like the texting communication option Cons Technical assistance, not able to get solutions on things needed, built in with some work arounds that need resolved and unable to resolve without restarting. Even the day to day issues with support very few can answer any questions or concerns. We had a rep that was not bad, got a new one that could help with nothing and now we do not have one. Not sure how I feel about it yet Pros I like that the shifts go automatically into my phone, when connected to my iPhone calendar. It nice to be able to send messages to coworkers for trades, etc Cons I don’t like how the messages show up when you send one to someone, regarding trading shifts, or working a shift, etc… I don’t like that the shifts you’ve worked don’t stay on your Iphones calendar after you’ve worked them. I dont like how you request time off. If you don’t need to use PTO, how do you put in for the days you need off that you don’t want to use PTO for? Pros Easy to follow options for icons, user friendly once you get the hang of it. Cons I experience glitches pretty often when using the shift click to remove several shifts at once, it makes the screen bounce around and is somewhat hard to follow. I think there should have been someone from Shiftwizard training all of the managers on the initial implementation, not just HR. Pros Once I started using it, it became easy to use. There are many good staffing options and it was easy to set up with what I needed for my departments. Cons I do not like that it didn't integrate into paycom. Perhaps management needs more training on how to open it back up in a timely fashion. Pros I love the ease of adding my own schedule each month. I also love the ability to see other's vacation requests so I know better when I can schedule my vacations without a Hassle. Easy to make shift swaps and requests for on call etc. Cons That it closes. I understand why it has to but our management team seems to have great difficulty getting a completed schedule back to us in a timely fashion! Oftentimes, 1-2 days prior to it starting. We could utilize it better Pros I did like how inputting hours was pretty easy. And waiting for approval from that is importance. Able to see the schedule and who is on it on what day is what I liked. I did like the IT responsiveness and remained very accommodating and polite Cons I don’t like how the login works some of the time as the single sign on. I don’t like how the change password thing is aesthetic and doesn’t actually work. There isn’t even an admin phone number and has to ask supervisor for it. The requirement has me come into the work unit off hours during patient cases to fix it with IT. The pieces I enjoy most are: Updating schedules with icons allows an automatic update to kronos for example, vacation day approvals, sick time, and jury duty etc. Staff can visualize their schedules at home using the SW app. Cons I wish we could input a person into shiftwizard before their first hire date so we can put their schedule in computer.
