Pros The customer support is amazing. They are very willing to help you with the software and also build new features you need. Its also very easy to use once you get the hang of it and allows a ton of administration tools. Cons Somewhat hard to train new users on it as its a complex software. Doesn't allow for external document sharing without licensing those external agencies. Senior Building Plans Examiner Government Administration ### "EPR review" 4.0 Overall Rating 4.0 4.0 Ease of Use 4.0 4.0 Features 5.0 5.0 Customer Service 0.0 0.0 Likelihood to Recommend 10/10 November 10, 2021 Transitioning from 100% paper plans to 100% electronic review was scary at first, since we picked a date and went 100% with EPR, we did not slowly transition, we jumped in the deep end without knowing how to swim, plus it was in the middle of COVID-19 and personal training from e-PlanSoft was not available, everything was over the phone. Although a tough transition, the intuitive nature of the soft ware plus the constant help from e-PlanSoft made it absolutely worth the move. Pros The software is intuitive and learnable. EPR has increased the plan review speed tremendously and provided quick and efficient ways to attach corrections and to approve and stamp plans. Cons There is very little I don't like. There are some small front screen things that I wish were more discernible when looking at it, however, they are minor and not worth mentioning really. Reasons for choosing e-PlanREVIEW e-PlanREVIEW seemed to all of us to fit our needs well. We feel we obviously made the right choice and are happy we did. Pros As a government employee who needs to keep in touch with other reviewers outside of my department, the software has really increased communication and deliverable time on the plan review of projects Cons The ability to speak with other reviewers in the epr software is great, but definitely has a lot more potential that could be improved on.
