It was a breeze for them to move our customers from our previous software to DOP. Only takes a few minutes to add a customer in the program. The routing is simple if you need to move an address all you have to do is click on it and move it in the right place and it's done for you. Putting Payments in is a breeze you can export or import them also. When we do billing now it is a lot faster. Cons If a customer has multiple addresses you can't search it under Address you have to look under Service Locations instead. At the end, we selected DOP for many reasons but one of the most significant was because they were the only company that was able to pass our cyber security administrator's stringent screening process. After meeting with the DOP team through a web conference and receiving a demonstration of the product, we felt DOP was just the product we were looking for. Since the purchase, we have been very pleased with the overall product and especially their willingness to adapt to the the specific demands of government operations. Pros The price point for the service is great. Their customer service is responsive and helpful. They are always willing to add new features and, unless its a major change, they do it at no extra cost. I feel like the DOP team truly cares about their product and are constantly striving to improve it. Cons Their product takes some getting used to in order to properly utilize it. Specifically, the balance maintenance for one-off charges and correcting billing mistakes is a little difficult to cope with. However, knowing what I know now, I would still choose to purchase DOP software if I was to make the decision again. The crew at DOP are very professional and the two developers are software engineers. Several of the crew members at DOP have backgrounds in the solid waste industry, so they understand your specific needs. Pros The routing feature is awesome, you do not have to rely on your drivers to route new customers, the system does it automatically. Billing is a breeze. The software can be integrated so your customers can pay online thru your website. Most importantly Windows or Apple hardware can be used with it! Reports can be generated for your specific needs. Powerful software that is designed for the future! Cons I have been using this software for 2 years, it has made my daily office procedures at a minimum.
