Not bad. Setup wasn't difficult for me as I'm used to it but could be an issue for others.

Pros

Email triggers for job status. That was very helpful.

Cons

The CRM was lacking in a few areas. No follow up.

Pros

I like that this program syncs with quickbooks.

Cons

in order to sync, we have to pick a type in the details page of either residential or commercial but it is not a mandatory field for our users. so when i go to sync jobs and cannot find on my list, i have to go back and see if that was missed. i don't understand why this cannot be programmed to be a mandatory field for all users, if it is a mandatory field in order to sync. little slow when saving in between inputs.

nothing anymore. I moved on to another product that works faster!

tracking what team members are assigned to a project, and cost tracking.

Cons

slow to move around, slow for new hires to learn.

So far so good - we are just learning the platform and happy that we can customize it to our business and give feedback to the developers.

Pros

We are excited to be on the ground floor of this software rollout. We are just introducing it now but can already see many potential benefits.

Cons

With any new software it can be difficult to implement into daily use and connect to other softwares but this was designed to fill in gaps with our current business.

### "A solid system, but with quirks."

The team at RM is great, however we simple were not able to live with some of the downsides to the program and ended up going with a different system.

Pros

The customization options. Restoration Manager has many options for customization throughout the system. Many custom fields can be added for capturing specific information, plus most of the terminology throughout the program can be changed so that you see the terms you're used to using.

Cons

The mobile application was very slow and not user friendly. This was our main hangup with the system. Other products have a much more seamless mobile experience. The software was also very slow at times.

showed us what we needed to begin bulletproofing files

Cons

total inflexibility and if we had a need that didn't jive with their biggest client we were told it didn't matter

After 2 months, they are still working on getting the program to work...

Pros

Integration with Xactimate and Quickbooks

Cons

Restoration Manager and Xactimate don't communicate. Lack of technical support. Trainers who are don't understand the product. Delays in getting questions answered or issues solved.

Reason for choosing Restoration Manager

We choose RM because of the reported integration with Xactimate and Quickbooks. We need from the start that Xactimate support was terrible but hoped for something better in Restoration Manager. Unfortunately, they matched the same level of poor support as Xactware and Xactimate. We are currently shopping for construction project management that can deliver the services we need.
