First Healthcare Compliance Reviews
"Great product for any medical office"
Overall: My last employer did all of this manually, using an excel document. This responsibility would require an employee an average of 15 hours/month to manage and track. I spend no more than 2 hours per month; one hour for general upkeep and one hour if I am hiring a new employee. That is extremely expensive in comparison to this product.
Pros: Managing two different specialty practices can be a challenge in itself. While most administrators are well versed with each regulation, it is most difficult to track every employee’s requirements and training per VEC, HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, LEIE, Hep. B testing, PPD testing, license status, etc… 1st Health Care Compliance makes it easy to compile all of this information into one place for review. I also appreciate the practice audit zones that allow us to meet quarterly compliance regulations. The few times I have had a compliance questions specifically to our practice, their support team has advised me with written policy to support their direction. Very well done.
Cons: The training videos are not updated regularly. I’ve been with this practice for 4 years and they just added a new HIPAA video. The others are the same which causes more complaints from staff; “why do I need to take this if it is the same every year.”

"Good one-stop solution for compliance issues"
Overall: It has made several tasks easier, and let's us know what we do not know.
Pros: It keeps all of our onboarding, licensing, and training information in one accessible location. Also, we can delegate local duties to local managers, while retaining an overall view from administrative headquarters on an easy to understand dashboard.
Cons: Like any software, there are odd quirks in using it. For example, you can add employees, but not managers - you have to send an e-mail to have First Healthcare do it for you. Also, when looking up employees, you can click the employee name, which brings up some information about the employee, or you can click "Edit" which brings up different information about the same employee.

"Great Compliance Tool"
Overall: This program has helped me to stream line all of our compliance for multiple locations, keep up with immunizations, medical license expiration dates, and track required training.
Pros: It is a easy program to use, and keeps track of any and everything related to compliance.
Cons: I would like to pull spread sheets from the information instead of looking at each individual person.

"Easy to use and set up!"
Pros: The questions asked in the monthly/yearly/etc. are exactly what we need. It was so easy to use and set up for our office and the independent physician practices that we are assisting with Compliance
Cons: Taking the time to answer the questionnaires, although they are are very comprehensive and address the issues around compliance.

"Good overall product for OSHA and HIPAA"
Overall: Support has been a dream to work with and are readily available. For the money, the OSHA, HIPAA, and other trainings and functionality made available are great.
Pros: Topics are always current and relevant. You can complete training from anywhere with internet.
Cons: As an administrator, I wish that reminder notifications automatically went out to delinquent users that have not completed trainings. In my environment, we have created specific trainings relevant to our specific business, and with not using out of the box trainings, it is difficult to readily see what trainings are still due by staff. The HIPAA provided trainings have a monotone speaker on an already dry topic.

"FHC Review"
Overall: Great experience. Keeps us up to date with everything
Pros: The online training that can be send out in mass to employees and the options given
Cons: The LEIE... once an employee has been proven as not the employee selected, it keeps asking monthly and I keep having to re-verify
